Task is given by "a decrepit froglok" at +1160, -120, next to the zoneline to Lower Guk. You play an undead froglok.

Darkenamel Chain Gauntlets (common drop) can transmute to: ???? (level 1-10), ???? (level 11-20), ???? (level 21-30), Well-Formed Chain Gloves (level 31-40), Darkenamel Chain Gloves (level 41-50), ???? (level 51-60), Fire-Singed Chain Gloves (level 61-70)

Totem of Potency (rare drop) can transmute to: ???? (level 1-10), ???? (level 11-20), ???? (level 21-30), ???? (level 31-40), Ancient Antonican Idol (level 41-50), Shard of the Keen Eye (level 51-60), Stonework Effigy (level 61-70).

To my level 53 bard, "a decrepit froglok" conned dark blue. So, that would be what? between levels 50 and 52, inclusive?

ive tried and tried this getting as many to zoneline as can and it just stays at 0/40 any ideas how to do it ?

Lame... This was a great way to get ppl involved in some of these zones that they would not otherwise use. I leveled from the mid 40's to lower 50's in Guk and was showing people where to camp what. Benefit was you got some xp :)

I can see why they nerfed it a bit...before you did not have to do any work, just run around for 20 mins.

Back to back patches yesterday and today, the first to fix monster missions, the second to fix, presumably, this mission.

It was broken yesterday, I verified. There was no apparent way to get experience since the mission is not designed to require you to kill anything.

The following has NOT changed:

You are asked to train 40 intruders out of the zone, and still not asked to kill anything.

I played a necromancer, and noticed no changes to abilities or starting stats. (You still get 1349 hp)

It has changed in the following recognizable ways after the second patch:

The Norrathians are not KOS. You must aggro one or more to start your train.

They hit for 500 now rather than 200.

They have from 16k to 20k hp.

They will follow you if you survive aggro generation to a zone line.

You will not receive credit toward your 40 required 'trainings' for taking them to a zone line, they simply stop there. (this tested only at live dry exit, as we were unable to get through the water alive to try the most common exit)

So, in conclusion, we gave up frustrated. They don't quite one-round you but it's close enough. We were booted from the mission without warning, I did not time this, but I doubt it was much more than an hour.

I have seen a great deal of hostility aimed at monster missions both in game and online, I believe this mission has been 'fixed' in a way that will satisfy many of the critics. I'm sure I overlooked something that would make this winnable, maybe these observations will help others come better prepared.

In result you get the same item for even more difficult mission? That is absurd! Not only did they make things more difficult, it was nice to get groups of 3 and all do the mission together. Now it seems you would need a full group in order to complete it.

Where exactly does the chest spawn? I have done a handfull of these and have yet to see a chest anywhere.

If you look on the map, I have seen it spawn most often in the area marked "C" on the dead side.

This takes you into the zone. The object is to chase 40 Norrathians out of Guk in the alotted time. Checking everywhere is a must. There tend to be a lot of them on the live side.

Even though the chest spawns at 30.. you must wait until the end to loot the chest to keep it once you zone..hopefully that will be fixed soon

I've looted the Totem of Potency 2x now and it, or anything it might have transmuted into, has poofed from my inventory when the quest was done. It's a real nice range item

The Totem actually transmutes to Stonework Effigy
once you zone. This had me fooled for a bit, searching my inventory for the totem, might want to recheck your inventory.
PS: experience has been nerfed the last 2 patches, about 20%-25% reduction in exp per patch.
