This task begins in the Plane of Knowledge with Castlen Drewe, who can be found at -96.96, -45.63, -157.87, across from the Soulbinder. The task is one of seven introduced for players from level 10 to 20.
You say, 'Hail, Castlen Drewe' Castlen Drewe says 'Greetings and welcome. I have been compiling reports from all over Norrath! There are many odd jobs to be done by someone like you. Would you be interested in such a [quest]?' You say, 'What quest?' You are offered several quests. Pick "Haunted Butcherblock." Travel to the tower east of the druid ring. Ellona has sent word that the ancient bones of decaying dwarves have risen from their graves. Destroy these enraged bones before they can harm unwary travelers! Explore the chessboard in Butcherblock 0/1 - (Butcherblock Mountains) (/loc where this updates?) Kill 4 undead pawns 0/4 - (Butcherblock Mountains) Explore the haunted tower East of the druid ring 0/1 - (Butcherblock Mountains) This updates at -1521.27, 843.28, 3.70. Kill 4 enraged dwarf skeletons 0/4 - (Butcherblock Mountains) Your task 'Haunted Butcherblock' has been updated. Return to the Plane of Knowledge and inform Castlen Drewe of your success. I had to kill 8 skeletons in all. 4 Dwarf. and 4 Enraged Dwarf before I got the prize.

You get a pretty good item and the quest is very easy to complete. Only difficulty you might have is in finding the tower with the Skeletons. If you've downloaded a BB map this task will be done in about half hour tops. Only cause it takes time to run from the PoK Book to the Chessboard and from the Chessboard to the tower.
They were super easy for my "newb" group of 4 - experienced players on a new server w/o gear - at level 9/11 ish.
Should have ran into the tower first and got the first part of the task completed - we cleared the Enraged Dwarf Skellies, then went into the tower, at that point it told us we needed to kill 4 of the enraged - should have bolted in there first, hehe
Overall, a real easy quest to get a fair armor item, considering what we started with :)

Couple hints for newbies: 1) approach the SE corner of the Chessboard for your first stage - there are rarely mobs there; 2) approach the Tower high along the NORTH wall from the east and go nearly behind it; 3) Keldyn Dunfire occasionally runs past the tower, so if you don't like adds, stay up on the SOUTH side, across from the tower when pulling.
