Tier 1: Gift of the Keepers

Upon reaching indifferent faction (and if Level 65+), you can begin progression by speaking with Chieftain Relae Aderi:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi nods his head in acknowledgement and smiles. 'Welcome to the Norrath's Keepers' enclave. We are busy protecting the way of the right and honorable now. Our world is at a crossroads and we must endeavor to ensure we maintain order as much as we can. Should you wish to [help] us, do say so.'

You say, 'I wish to help you'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Those are encouraging words and we will gladly take your offer. Please see Nylaen Kel`Ther, my trusted friend. While his tasks may not seem glorious, they are necessary for us to gain a foothold against the Dark Reign, the followers of Lanys T`Vyl, the Child of Hate. They have their grim eyes set on seeing the end of us all. To begin, from the volcano, we need ingredients to create an antidote, help collecting Delvian teeth for our arrowheads, and handling goblin greed in the Stillmoon Temple. When you satisfy these needs, then we shall speak again.'

You have received a character flag!

Now talk with Private Nylaen Kel`Ther, next to Chieftain Relae Aderi to receive three different solo tasks:

Creating an Antidote
Burning Arrows
Greed of the Goblins

After completing these tasks, speak with Chieftain Relae Aderi again:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Welcome back, _____. News of your good deeds is passing quickly through our ranks. I wish we could say your work is done here, but it is not. The goblins of Tirranun's Delve heard of your efforts against their kin in the Stillmoon Temple and they have vowed revenge. One in particular, Gimblax, plans to hunt you down. We know where he is now and if you move quickly, perhaps you can reach him first. Speak to Dilar Nelune and he will give you further guidance.'

You have received a character flag!

Next, speak with Keeper Dilar Nelune to receive a single-group task:

Children of Gimblax

After completing this task, speak with Chieftain Relae Aderi again:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'It is time to repay you for all you have done. Firiona Vie has chosen to share a divine gift with you that will only grow stronger if you continue to help us. This magic to be instilled with you is a fitting reward, but you will fast lose it should you ever aid the Dark Reign -- in fact, it will disappear instantly!'

You have received a character flag!
You have gained the ability "Gift of the Keepers" at a cost of 0 ability points.

The new ability "Gift of the Keepers" gives a maximum stats increase of 10 per stat.

Tier 2: Valor of the Keepers

You must have amiable faction standing or better to request Tier 2 tasks. You can raise faction by doing the miscellaneous missions offered by the NPCs in the camp (each mission results in a Token which can be turned in for +20 faction). First speak with Chieftain Relae Aderi again:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

If below amiable, you see:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Your contributions certainly do shine, _____, but to further help us is a matter of trust. You must prove that you are ready for the higher levels of confidentiality by aiding us with more work.'

If amiable or higher, you see:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'I am delighted to see that you got to Gimblax before he was able to get to you. It would be a great loss to us if he were to find you and carry out his plans! You have done so well for us that we have much more for you to do if you are still willing. If you wish to help us turn the sand goblins' anger, recover the lost map, and protect our kirin contact, please speak to Nylaen Kel`Ther and he will give you more [work]. May the light of the world shine upon you, _____!'

You say, 'What work?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'This may be presumptuous and I'm not certain the kind of company you keep, but should you find the will and way, there are stories of a dragon of lava that goes by the very name of that volcano, Tirranun. We have found an entrance that would seem to lead to its lair, but none of us have found the numbers or bravery to attempt to find it. With your associations, perhaps you would have better luck, at your leisure of course. We must learn all we can about the dragons for we fear that the Dark Reign wish to gain control over them to use against us. In the meantime, we have bestowed upon you a reward for your assistance. Safe travels, _____.'

You have received a character flag!

(This flag grants you access to the non-progression raid "Fanning the Flames".)

Now, speak with Private Nylaen Kel`Ther (need to be Level 67+) to receive three solo tasks:

Turn the Tides of the Sand
Recover the Lost Map
Defend the Kirin Contact

After completing these three tasks, speak with Chieftain Relae Aderi again:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Your advancement and accomplishments are many and you have our gratitude, but I must implore you to continue to help us. There are few as capable as you to accept the challenges that lie ahead. Dilar Nelune has been charged with giving you the information needed to making an offering of peace and reassurance to our kirin contact. Also, I have permitted Ekiltu Verlor to give you access to all the information you would need to bring an end to the terrible dervish, Emoush. Bring me evidence you have overcome this challenge.'

You have received a character flag!

Next, hail Keeper Dilar Nelune to receive a group mission:

Sickness of the Spirit

After that, speak with Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor for your first raid event:

Calling Emoush (6-24 players)

Loot the "Glowing Stone Fragment" from Emoush the Destroyer, and bring it to the Chieftain to complete Tier 2 progression:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Norrath's Keepers acknowledges your steadfastness and resolve in our name and Firiona herself wishes to strengthen the gift she has bestowed upon you so you may serve us with greater power.'

You have received a character flag!

You get 1-2 AAs and the Special AA "Valor of the Keepers" which adds 250 hp/mana/end to your base stats. You also receive your 69th level spell/tome:

Bard - Spell: Storm Blade
Beastlord - Spell: Growl of the Panther
Berserker - Tome of Destroyer's Volley
Cleric - Spell: Blessed Touch (scribes as "Ward of Retribution")
Druid - Spell: Serpent Vines
Enchanter - Spell: Rune of Rikkukin
Magician - Spell: Summon: Molten Orb
Monk - Tome of Dragon Fang
Necromancer - Spell: Shadow Orb
Paladin - Tome of Guard of Righteousness
Ranger - Spell: Earthen Shackles
Rogue - Tome of Assassin's Feint
Shadowknight - Tome of Soul Shield
Shaman - Spell: Spirit of the Panther
Warrior - Tome of Cyclone Attack
Wizard - Spell: Claw of Vox

Tier 3: Embrace of the Keepers

To request Tier 3 content, you must be at least high amiable with Norrath's Keepers (+400) and be at least Level 68.

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi bows as he recognizes you. 'Your good deeds in the name of the Keepers is gaining you a great reputation and the requests for your assistance come from more and more places. I would ask you to continue with your good work and we still have several tasks you may be interested in. Your skill and prowess have earned you entrance into the more [lauded] circles of our ranks, so what we ask now is of greater importance.'

You have received a character flag!

(This flag grants you access to the non-progression raids "Reflections of Silver" & "Kessdona's Perch".)

You say, 'Lauded?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Indeed. The people who now know and respect you are some of the closest to Firiona Vie, the Chosen of Tunare, and the leader of Norrath's Keepers. If you wish to stand alongside those who support and serve the Chosen, then you must continue to prove your worth as they all did. There are many [quests] that must be undertaken. You must speak to Nylaen Kel`Ther for those. And you must meet Areha Burina. She has uncovered a path to the [wyrms] of Stillmoon Temple, though our interest in them right now isn't immediate or required.'

You say, 'What quests?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'You must protect the purity of the waters of Stillmoon Temple, secure the knowledge of the scrolls of the temple, and thwart the attack of the Snowfoot goblins. Speak to Nylaen again and he will give you more information. When you are successful, return to me and I will direct you to my officers for more challenging work.'

You say, 'What wyrms?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'There are two dragons that protect and serve in the Stillmoon Temple and Ascent -- Rikkukin and Kessdona. They are mates of a breed of dragon made of precious metals. They are believed to be the first children of Veeshan on Norrath. They are dragons of great wisdom and knowledge, but don't be fooled by their sleek beauty. Once in the past, I believe dragons of their kind had betrayed our own Firiona. We fear they intend to betray the good of Norrath too if we lend our minds and hearts to them. You will nearly need an army of your own to overcome these dragons and we have no requirement of you to that end, but they are yours to discover.'

Speak with Private Nylaen Kel`Ther to receive three solo tasks:

Protect the Waters
The Sacred Scrolls
Snowfoot Revenge

Once done those tasks, speak with the Chieftain again for a flag:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi nods. 'We are always on the defensive and must continue to keep our minds and spirits up and charging ahead. The tasks we present to you now are more daunting. Having proven yourself and gained our trust brings greater challenges to you. We ask you to learn the history of Thundercrest Isle, endure a Trial of Perseverance issued by the goblins in the Stillmoon Temple, and take on the great spider queen, Volkara. You'll need to speak to Ekiltu Verlor for particulars and then you must return to me and give me proof you have overcome these tasks. And do introduce yourself to Areha Burina.'

You have received a character flag!

Next, speak with Keeper Dilar Nelune for a group mission:

History of the Isle

You'll also need to complete two progression raids from Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor:

Trial of Perseverance (6-24 players)
Volkara's Bite (6-42 players)

Loot "Goblin Warlord's Beads" from the warlord in the "Trial of Perseverance", and loot "Lava Spider Spinners" from Volkara in "Volkara's Bite". Hand in these two items to Chieftain Relae Aderi:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'You've become a great contributor to our cause, _____. There will be gifts bestowed upon you for this!'

You have received a character flag!

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Your deeds continue to astound and impress us, even Firiona Vie has taken notice of you as we carry on about your good work. She has decided to grant you greater power once again.'

You have received a character flag!

You get 1-2 AAs and the Special AA "Embrace of the Keepers" which increases your buff slot limit.

Tier 4: Power of the Keepers

In order to continue on in Tier 4, you must, again, have kindly faction. Hail Commander Zaerr Ty`Dar for another flag:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Every day we learn more about the Nest and, sadly, the intentions of the Dark Reign toward the good folk of Norrath. These are indeed troubling times, but I have no doubt that we will prevail with Firiona at our side. Go speak to Ekiltu Verlor. With your skills and talents, we believe you may have a good chance to overcome Shogurei, the Guardian of the Sands. With a smaller force, you may be able to accept the challenge issued by the goblins of Thundercrest Isles. We must attempt to beat this trial ahead of the Dark Reign so that perhaps the goblins may favour us and ease their anger towards us. You must bring proof you have conquered both of these tasks.'

You have received a character flag!

Now, you need to complete two progression raids from Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor:

Guardian of the Sands (6-42 players)
Goblin Dojo (6-24 players)

Loot "Quintessence of Sand" and "Meditation Stone" from those two raids (respectively), and give them to Chieftain Relae Aderi:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'You are indeed rising in everyone's estimation as you continue to overcome great odds Your efforts will not go unnoticed.'

You have received a character flag!

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'You have done a great service to Norrath's Keepers. What you have learned may have given us the edge we need over the Dark Reign. They are forever sending spies and doing all they can to undermine our efforts to bring peace and harmony in Norrath. While you have risen in our estimation since we first set eyes upon you, you would like to put your [dedication] to the test before we admit you as a Keeper.'

You say, 'My dedication?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Lanys T`Vyl and her Dark Reign lackeys grow stronger each day and there is little time to waste. Areha Burina has some extremely challenging work for you, particularly a meeting with the dragon of [storms].'

You say, 'What dragon of storms?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'We expect that Yar`Lir, the storm dragon, is exceedingly powerful and unique. We have learned from you and the scrolls obtained from the temple, that Yar`Lir is the dragon responsible for casting a veil of magic and storms over the Nest to protect it from view and keep it hospitable for the wyrms. You must go to see her, but I would expect her to be none-to-pleased to see you there and you will likely need to [defend] yourself. However, we would not be the keepers of these lands if we did not at least attempt to approach her civilly.'

You say, 'Defend myself?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Should she attack you and you are forced to draw your weapons, know this -- killing her will disrupt the veil she casts here. This might be the opportunity that the Dark Reign looks for, but we will contend with that from here. There is more, we believe, as we haven't found where most of the dragons eggs are kept in the Nest. This is why we are sending you -- to learn what you can. Also, if you can, retrieve one of Yar`Lir's fangs. Areha Burina will lead you to her.'

You have received a character flag!

Now, speak with Captain Areha Burina to request another progression raid:

An End to the Storms (6-54 players)

Loot "Yar'lir's Fang" from this raid, and hand it to Chieftain Relae Aderi:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Our efforts to keep the Dark Reign at bay have been furthered by your honor and prowess, _____. And once more Firiona wishes to grant you even greater magic and strength to carry you forward.'

You get 1-2 AAs + the Special AA "Power of the Keepers" (increases chance of critical hits/spells, heals, and DoTs)

Tier 5: Sanctity of the Keepers

In order to continue on in Tier 5, you must have at least warmly faction. Speak with Chieftain Relae Aderi:

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says, 'As we feared, Yar'lir was not kind to us, but it is to be expected. This fang will be treasured and protected while our researcher study it. It is not time to dawdle though. I'm sure you're already aware that the death of Yar'Lir caused a great disturbance in the Nest. Each time the storm dragon's magic is interrupted, the Nest and resting place of the eggs of the Nest's dragons become darker and we're not sure why. In order to learn more, please talk to Dilar Nelune and Ekiltu Verlor. They have new work for you -- to investigate a curse in the Nest and to learn about a dark drake by the name of Ju'rek. You will need to bring me proof of your success.'

Next, speak with Keeper Dilar Nelune for a group mission:

Origins of the Curse

You'll also need to complete another progression raid from Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor:

The Curse of Ju'rek (6-24 players)

Loot "Diseased Wing Fragment" from this raid, and hand it to Chieftain Relae Aderi:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Gracious, that curse certainly seems to run deep. You have accomplished what very few have been able to and we'd like to reward you. As you may have already ascertained, there is a [dragon] in the Nest that we have yet to confront. That falls to you now.'

You have received a character flag!

You say, 'What dragon?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'We hear that the dragon in the Nest was Yar'Lir's mate, also a dragon of storms. But as you confronted Yar'Lir and disrupted her magic, the twisting caverns of the Nest were fully bared and a sickly darkness washed over them. It seems the curse you investigated was somehow unleashed at that moment and the dragon of the Nest was touched and darkened by it, but we don't know more than that. He is angry, though, without question. Speak to Areha Burina.'

You have received a character flag!

Now, speak with Captain Areha Burina to request a final progression raid:

In the Shadows (6-54 players)

Loot "Shadowscale of Vishimtar" from this raid, and hand it in to Chieftain Relae Aderi to finish off your progression:

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Your wondrous deeds will become woven into bards' songs, _____! You are a soldier of balance and good and for that Firiona is granting the greatest divine gift that any more can bear. Use it well and continue your service of keeping evil at bay, _____.'

You get 1-2 AAs and the Special AA "Sanctity of the Keepers" (increases spell resist caps).

Finished

You say, 'Hail, Chieftain Relae Aderi'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'Well the pieces have begun to fall into place. With all that you accomplished in bringing us artifacts and information, and the death of Yar`Lir, we have learned something disturbing. The curse that was laid in the Nest was designed to come alive when the magic of the Nest was weakened. It would seem someone knew that, one way or another, Norrathians would kill Yar`Lir and [break] the veil that protected the Nest underneath her.'

You have received a character flag!

You say, 'What about the break?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'As you know, Yar`Lir was Vishimtar's mate, another dragon of storms. It was not just Yar`Lir who held the veil of magic and storms over the Nest -- Vishimtar worked with her. When Yar`Lir was killed and the magic veil interrupted, that's when it happened. The [dormant curse] in the Nest was brought to life and it crept through the caverns, destroying eggs and creatures in its path, including Vishimtar. While he was not killed, his body and magic became corrupted and he was made more powerful.'

You say, 'What about the dormant curse?'

Chieftain Relae Aderi says 'What plagues us now is the origin of the curse. We are not sure who is responsible, but we are devoted to finding out. You can help us no further now, but I would say you'd done enough, wouldn't you? You have certainly proved yourself and can now consider yourself one of Norrath's Keepers.'

Solo at 65 . . . . . hmmm
# Jun 11 2005 at 4:32 AM Rating: Decent
With my 65th ranger, raid buffed with epics 1.0 and alt high dps weapons, I'm getting my behind served up to me by the time I meet the 2nd mob. Guess solo melee means higher level or top end gear rather than ornate.

Think the "solo" mission part is somewhat of a misnomer

well it is and it isnt a misnomer....

the term *solo task* doesnt mean anyone in the game can solo it.. it just means that by you accepting the mission, it isnt given to your entire group (for obvious reasons).. and you dont need to be IN a group to get them, like you do to even get the grp missions.

its not technically incorrect, just a different interpretation of what *solo task* means

Can anyone genuinely confirm whether doing this mission flags all that were on it as having completed it or if you have to be the one with the end product and turn that in with the goblin beads and lavaspider spinners from perseverance and volkara to gain the reward? The posts on here so far confirm that you need it and that you dont need the item - just to have done the mission as with Sickness of Spirit and gimblax to be flagged as having done it.
If you don't know please don't speculate in reply only if you genuinely know.

If there are "Solo Collect" involved for the tier you are on, those must be done before you can turn in a "Loot Progression" item.
If you only have to succeed in a mission (Children of Gimblax) you still need to complete the "Solo Collects" to be eligable for the Gimblax flag.
If you have to do "Group Tasks" for a tier as well as "Loot Progression" turn-ins, then you can loot the item before doing "Group Task" but do not turn it in to chieftan until you have completed the "Group Task" or, once again, you may not be flagged for the turn-in yet.

Single group missions are flagged when you pass and receive your crystals. As long as you have received your crystals and you are at the correct point with the Chief you will get the yellow text of completion (of course you have to have high enough faction and everything else completed too). I believe History of the Isles is like Sickness and you dont get a special yellow text for it but you have to do it (ie a hidden flag) to move forward.

I can tell you for sure that doing the Calling Emoush raid does not flag you as having done it.

I only needed Sickness of Spirit and Calling Emoush to get the 250hp/mana/end reward. Our guild did Emoush and he dropped 6 stones (I didn't get a stone at that point). I later did Sickness of Spirit and did not receive the reward. Then, last night, I got my stone from Emoush, turned it in, and received all the rewards (250 hp/mana/end, 2 AAs, and 69 tome).

The clock will reset once you get a new task. My solo task timer had some ungodly amount of hours on it before i could get a new quest, but I got invited to a group task and it reset it.

Does it all have to be in a certain order?

I'm in the second tier of progression. While still working on the three solo tasks, I happened to join a group doing the "Sickness of the Spirit" task. Once I finished the three tasks, I thought I was told next to do Emoush. I didn't know until now that the spirit task was needed. Could I be already flagged for the spirit task then or do I need to do it again? Just wondering if anyone else has done it out of order. I'd hate to do Emoush and lose the stone for being out of order and having to wait for another Emoush raid.

Nah, if you have done SoS then you are already flagged. If you do Emoush and turn in the stone you will get the spell/disc.

the item combined to win is No Drop, and must be turned in by each person seeking the tier 3 reward

it's true the final product of 'History of the isle' is a no drop item and is needed to complete the actual mission, however it is not needed for the actual flag. The entire group gets flagged for the mission for doing just once.

Mission credit
# May 24 2005 at 4:26 AM Rating: Decent
Can anyone confirm or deny that the History of the Isles group mission only rewards credit to the one person who does the combine of the looted items? I have read where people have said this is the case, but this would be the opposite of how the other group missions have worked for Tier 1 and 2.
Warmly factions?
# May 22 2005 at 9:09 AM Rating: Decent
Anyone know if they have anything for anything for warmly or better factions yet? I would think that if you have completed even half of the raids/groups you would have at least kindly, so it would be nice to see some group Tasks that we can get with that faction that others cannot...

Glowing Stone Fragment hand in
# May 16 2005 at 5:19 AM Rating: Good
I did the Glowing Stone Fragment hand in before finishing "Sickness of the Spirit" and got my AA's + tome.

= You don't have to have the "Calling Emoush" - raid open to get your reward.

Clarify write-up some?
# May 14 2005 at 2:24 PM Rating: Decent
Is there any chance that you could list the "Sickness of the Spirit" mission separately, as all the other missions are?

Quote:
Upon completing these tasks, you can speak with Keeper Dilar Nelune to receive a group mission called "Sickness of the Spirit."

I didn't even see it the first time I read through the progression, and didn't realize I was missing a mission for the Emoush progression.

"Sickness of the Spirit" - Mission in Stillmoon involving the Kirin contact from the "Defend the Kirin Contact" mission. Several steps in mission will involve running back and forth across the zone. No repops in mission. (Thank god)

Calling Emoush
# May 08 2005 at 2:25 AM Rating: Decent
For the part with Emoush raid, I have some questions. First, can this be a pick-up or does everyone have to be at that point in order to participate? It seems like from other posts that you can still get credit on others part. I hope the same apply to Calling Emoush. Second, what are the faction requirements/level you need to be? Thanks in advance.
RE: Calling Emoush
# May 08 2005 at 2:39 AM Rating: Good
Everyone does not need to be at this point - Emoush drops exactly 6 stones for further progression, so one raid will only progress 6 people. DPS is a major consideration with Emoush, as your best bet is to burn him down in one round, rather than dealing with his guards and then the enhanced version....

RE: Calling Emoush
# May 27 2005 at 1:22 AM Rating: Decent
Thanks. What about faction for turning in for the spell, AAs, etc.

I *believe* you need to be Amiable to get the rewards. At least, I had to wait till I was amiable before I could get the Tier 2 tasks, mission, and raid, so that's a pretty good indication I'd say.

I got the Tier 2 reward while still being Amiable, so you definitely don't need higher than that.
Turn in boiling lavaspinner's bloods?
# Apr 23 2005 at 5:49 PM Rating: Decent
For the "Creating an Antidote" mission, I had already collected the boiling lavaspinner's bloods earlier. Do I just turn them in to get credit for the mission?
RE: Turn in boiling lavaspinner's bloods?
# Apr 24 2005 at 12:41 PM Rating: Decent
You have to collect them after you are given the mission. If you had them before the mission they are no good to you. Once you have the mission and collect them, when you get the message you have completed the mission and gotten your PP and experience, I just deleted them, no need to turn them in to anyone, they have no use for the item

I wouldn't suggest any melee trying to solo these without a healer of some type. If you do kill a mob without it running off at about twice Selo's under 20 and/or 10 percent, you're down time is going to be significant. I wouldn't suggest trying it at all. Typically you can zone into Stillmoon and wait a bit and there are usually folks in there that will let you join them (at least on Cazic Thule server).

66 Mage with all spells and that pet will do fine against anything in Lavaspinner or Stillmoon. at over 5k mana, the named do run me near oom and pet usually enraged. Necros should have no problem either, you can kite around the ZI if careful in Stillmoon.
Group requirements

For the first set of missions (listed below), do you need a group or can a average equipped ranger 'toon solo them? One guildie said that he got a partner to help him out but I'm not sure we were talking about the same thing.

"Greed of the Goblins" -- Kill 11 Stillmoon Laborers in Stillmoon Temple
"Creating an Antidote" -- Loot five Boiling Lavaspinner Bloods from Lavaspinner’s Lair
"Burning Arrows" -- Loot five Delvian Goblin Teeth from Tirranun’s Delve

When I was a 69 cleric lacking most of my OOW spells I was able to solo the Stillmoon part, however the LS and TD part was too difficult for me. I found a BST and we duo'd those parts.

level 65 or 66 and Indiffrent need to get frist level

level 69 and amb need for 2nd level

warmly needed for 3rd

allied need for 4th+

you can get aa / effects from both sides but you lose effect when you start to climb the other side. you do keep the aa so if you love doing lots of these you can gewt extra aa's but it is a pain

I believe what Aitian was trying to say was not that you didn't lose the "AA" abilities when you started up the other side, but instead that you don't lose the 2 "free" AA that you receive when you complete the tiers of progression (i.e. after defeating Gimblax and so forth) Not sure, since I've never done any of the Evil Progression and have no intention to.

69 is not needed for the second level, I completed it just fine at level 68... also if you hail the opposite side's chief you will lose both the AA and the effect, you cannot have both AA's at the same time

Level Requirement

Does anyone know if there is a level requirement to recieve the following quests?

"Greed of the Goblins" -- Kill 11 Stillmoon Laborers in Stillmoon Temple
"Creating an Antidote" -- Loot five Boiling Lavaspinner Bloods from Lavaspinner’s Lair
"Burning Arrows" -- Loot five Delvian Goblin Teeth from Tirranun’s Delve

I have indifferent faction but the private and chieftan say that I am too young.

Level 61 ranger.

Does anyone know if the final combine item from single group History of the Isles <Secret of Yah'lir> Magic Lore No Drop actually do anything? When identified it reads The three secrets form a power you've never before seen. I couldn't turn it in to any wayfarer for credit/exp/faction
Stuck at DoN tier 2

I have done the quest up to here, got my AAs and got my spell. But I did not get sent to see Private Nylaen. I did a dark mission opening day and took a faction hit when I didnt know any better. I have done 6 good missions since I did my tier 2 tasks and Emoush, but still cant get tier 3 tasks, any ideas whats wrong?

Chola

Loot the Glowing Stone Fragment from Emoush the Destroyer and bring it to the Chieftain. You will receive the following:
-Two AAs
-Valor of the Keepers (250 hp/mana/end)
-Your 69th level spell/tome.

You will be sent to Private Nylaen Kel`Ther and will receive three more tasks:

High amiably faction is correct, kill some guards and do some missions. I had to do 20 some odd missions and killed about 30 guards. Best wishes.

High amiably faction is needed to receive the tasks for the 3rd AA. Chances are, that is your problem.

If you are on the lower end of the amiably spectrum (more closer to indifferent than kindly), the NPC will not give you the tasks yet for the 3rd AA.

Do a few more group missions for faction, and that should do the trick.
quick question...
# Apr 12 2005 at 11:14 AM Rating: Decent
for the Gimblax part of the progression do you need to be the one that requests the mission in order for it to count towards your progression or can someone else request it and you still get credit for it?
RE: quick question...
# Apr 12 2005 at 12:45 PM Rating: Decent
You can get credit for some one else selecting the mission. Did this with 2 guildys last night and both got the reward.

Can anyone confirm or deny the following statement made by certain members of my guild:

"You must be level 70 in order to turn in the part from Emoush and progress past Tier 2"

Several people have said the NPC ate the piece when they tried to turn in the drop at level 69... Has anyone successfully done this turn-in before level 70?

The Norrath's Keepers camp can be found in the Lavastorm Mountains tunnels leading to The Bloodfields.

... its the Broodlands not the Bloodfields
