Find Veriok Dreik in the sick bay of the Plane of Tranquility.
In order to do this quest, you must have your Saryrn, Keeper of Sorrows, Terris Thule, and Hedge, flags. You say, 'Hail, Veriok Dreik' Veriok Dreik says 'Excellent work _____, but there is no time to waste. [Mylik] needs our help.' You say, 'I will help Mylik' Veriok Dreik says 'Excellent! Let me tell you about Mylik. Much like Thelin, Mylik was a strong brave man too. Mylik stood in these lands and focused his energy and mana and opened the portal to the Plane of Disease. Bertoxxulous set a curse on those who dared open a portal to his plane and he defiled Mylik's soul with a potent toxin that has left him lying there slowly decaying away. Do you [understand] the amount of death that Bertoxxulous can spread over Norrath?' You say, 'I understand' Veriok Dreik says 'Ok then pay attention _____. I have already sent in an old friend of mine to handle what needs to be done inside the Plane of Disease. What he doesn't know is that Bertoxxulous is aware that he has breached the portal and is planning on sending four guardians to eliminate him. Enter the Crypt of Decay and destroy the guardians. Bring me back proof of their death and I'll give you further instructions. Hurry _____, this task is vital to saving Milyk.' Head to the Crypt of Decay and retrieve four "Orders of Bertoxxulous" from various mobs. Then return them to Veriok as proof of your work. Orders from Bertoxxulous Pg. 1 - Banord Paffa Orders from Bertoxxulous pg. 2 - Warlord Abouu Orders from Bertoxxulous pg. 3 - Jerill the Enraged Orders from Bertoxxulous pg. 4 - Assassin Kakoo Your Reward: Grummus Flag, which counts toward your planar progression progress. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I tried to talk to this guy today for bypass tt quest, but he gave me this instead. I have saryrn/keeper done but not tt/hedge, so I'm confused :o

Ok I believe I have in-part solved this quest.
While in CoD today, we killed Banlord Paffa to get my necro a new earring. Along with the earring, he dropped Orders from Bertoxxulous Pg. 1
Using my clicky mask I identified these Orders and the lore for them was "Death orders for Odaen". My friend Joks then found Odaen was a quest NPC in PoDisease so we just assumed that this was going to be some backflag quest. We'd seen another 71 mob at the end of the Carprin cycle that seemed to have no apparent function. So we went back and killed Warlord Abouu who sure enough dropped Orders from Bertoxxulous pg. 2
According to the bestiary Jerill the Enraged drops Orders from Bertoxxulous pg. 3.
So this would account for three out of four guardians. The similarity between all 3 of these mobs is them being yellow to a level 70 and having no other apparent reason for being in the game.
As far as I can tell, the last of these four mobs has either yet to be acknowledged by a player and entered into the bestiary, is an ignored loot from a now rarely visited raid mob (Bertox) or is in another zone entirely.
We all attempted to speak to Odaen in PoDisease, but we were all flagged anyway so perhaps he only talks to the unflagged doing this quest. Also I had not spoken to Veriok Dreik.
Anyway I hope this sheds some light on the situation, and credit goes largely to Jokskilove for being so leet and allowing us to plow through anything that moved in CoDecay.

Page 4 is dropped by the named Bubonian, Assassin Kakoo.
If anyone can confirm this is all part of it, I'll be happy to add it to the quest write-up.

Gryme The Crypt Guardian drops "Chunk of Gryme" that has no use that I know of. He always drops it. This might be one of the drops thats required.
