In the warrior guild in Kaladim there is a dwarf male named Byzar Bloodforge. He is looking for the heads of the ogres Zarchoomi and Corflunk who roam the countryside of Butcherblock. If you ask Byzar "What about Corflunk?" He responds with, don't mention those names, I hate those ogres and would pay handsomely for their heads. He does the same if you ask about Zarchoomi. You must give him both heads, and then he will say he underestimated you and give you experience, faction, some coin and various pieces of bloodforge mail.

You need a decent faction with him to finish the quest (probably amiable)

Byzar Bloodforge says 'What good is one?! I called for the heads of both Corflunk and Zarchoomi!'
Byzar Bloodforge says 'I underestimated you. You are truly a great warrior. I reward you with a piece of my own Bloodforge armor. You would be fine Bloodforge Brigade material. How would you like to [take a little trip] in the name of the Bloodforge Brigade?'

Your faction standing with Storm Guard has been adjusted by 20.
Your faction standing with Kazon Stormhammer has been adjusted by 3.
Your faction standing with Miners Guild 249 has been adjusted by 3.
Your faction standing with Merchants of Kaladim has been adjusted by 5.
Your faction standing with Craknek Warriors has been adjusted by -5.
You gain experience!!
You receive 7 silver from Byzar Bloodforge.
You receive 8 gold from Byzar Bloodforge.

You say, 'take a little trip'
Byzar Bloodforge says 'Yes. You will do. My sister was once engaged to a fellow warrior. He disgraced her and left her crying at the altar. I will have his head for such a slap in the face of my family. His name was Trumpy Irontoe, once a member of the now defunct Irontoe Brigade. I know not where he went. Find his whereabouts and return his head to me. Do so, and I shall make you an honorary member of the Bloodforge Brigade.'

Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs.

Ogre head quest WARNING
# Apr 12 2001 at 8:19 AM Rating: Excellent
The bloodforge armor received from Byzar Bloodforge are random pieces. The Bloodforge helm is a lore item. If you already have the helm and Byzar tries to give you another helm at the time you turn the heads in, you will receive no armor at all. I learned this the hard way. I was quite surprised when I didnt receive any bloodforge armor pieces. This is when I noticed for the first time that the helm was lore. DOH.
Orge spawns
# Apr 04 2001 at 2:55 PM Rating: Excellent
I noticed that Corflunk seems to randomly spawn, but once he does KEEP HIM ALIVE! After wandering for a little while, Zarchoomi pops. Trust me, keeping this guy alive is a LOT harder than killing him! Everyone sees him and immediately attacks!

Corflunk and Zarchoomi seem to pop between the zone to Dagnors Cauldron and the two houses. They eventually wander down the road to the crossroads, where the guards kill them.

The armor is good low level stuff, and the helm has some good stats. Looks nice too, deep dark red.

I always run into Zarchoomi when going to Dagnors Cauldron. When you zone from G'Fay to BB, stay by the left wall (i.e. don't follow the road) and keep walking. It'll take you to the zone to Dagnors Cauldron. And Zarchoomi is always SITTING by a tree somewhere closeby the zone entrance. First time when I saw her sitting there, I thought she was just another PCs until she ran after me and attacked me. She cons green to my 17th warrior but she definitely doesn't hit like a green. If I recall it correctly, she can poison too. But I could be wrong.

Hope this helps =)

She's a shaman; my cleric ran across her just south of the Crossroads, close to the goblin camp, and she casted Drowsy, Frost Rift and Tainted Breath on me, then hit me for like 20 points of damage right before I reached the Crossroads guards.

Which Head have i got?
# Mar 22 2001 at 12:58 PM Rating: Good
I killed one of the two ogres a while ago. I put the head in the bank, but now I don't remember which of the two ogres I killed. If I inspect it, it just says ogre's head. Does it make a difference, or can you just hand in any two?
RE: Which Head have i got?
# Apr 06 2001 at 1:05 PM Rating: Default
I don't think you can have 2 heads from the same ogre. One night I killed Zarchoomi twice but it wouldn't let me pick up her head for the second time. It says "duplicated item" or something and the head was still left with her body.

no it doesn't matter what 2 heads u have my friend did the quest with 2 corflunk heads and he recived the blood forge mail.
RE: Which Head have i got?
# May 22 2001 at 12:31 AM Rating: Decent
The heads are lore items so your friend can't have two corflunk heads. He must have killed the other ogre and thought he killed corflunk.

I'm a ranger, and corflunk i've noticed has always been around the same area, x-roads and 2houses. Out of all the times i've killed corflunk, 4 out of 5 of those times he wasn't there.Zarchoomi on the other hand, I've tracked her in dozens of random locs...
#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 12 2000 at 3:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I think I can speak for everyone on this topic. Please people when you know that someone has been camping for a long time, don't pester them about when they are going to leave. Don't sit down next to them to "wait" until they are done. You might be waiting a long time and then the time it takes for you to complete your camp on top of that. The NPC will always respawn and will always be there. Just ask them kindly if they will send you a tell when they are done and 9 times out of 10 they will. These players are tired from camping that long of a period and quite understandably a little grouchy and become extremely nervous at the thought of someone possibly stealing their kill. So, be courteous.

The exact same post has been written in most of the forums.

Even if I agree with it, I find very annoying to find the exact same post again and again.
I rate it as awful each time I see it so I hope it will be hidden by the default filter ...
Everyone should read the above post

Spawn points of the Ogres
# Oct 02 2000 at 8:54 AM Rating: Decent
The ogres have no fixed spawn points. They spawn anywhere in the south east section of the Butcherblocks. Last night on the new server, for example, they were spawning like crazy due to everyone killing EVERYTHING in that area.

Spawn loc of Zarchoomi
# Sep 15 2000 at 5:50 PM Rating: Default
i didnt get the exact spawn loc but its right inbetween the x roads and the twinhouses right along the road. im still looking for cornflunks spawn,.. but cornflunk walks also near the road inbetween the x roads and twinhouses.(sometimes it may take awhile for him to walk that path, sometimes 30min)
RE: Spawn loc of Zarchoomi
# Oct 17 2000 at 12:23 AM Rating: Default
Corflunk spawned there inbetween the crossroads and the twin houses. Dropped right on me as I ran by, unfortunately he attacked me as I was low level... fortunately I was able to defeat him barely.
RE: Spawn loc of Zarchoomi
# Dec 02 2000 at 9:01 AM Rating: Default
I haven't found Zarchoomi but one night I attacked a goblin, and there Corflunk was. Luckily a level 49 killed that ogre for me (it was conned yellow, hit for like 20 points, and I'm only level 7) so, I had to run around trying to snare it, waiting FIRST for the level 49 to kill one of the dwarve NPC's...And when he finally did he let me loot the corpse, he even let me loot the other NPC he was killing twice with some really good weapons and loot on her like Words of Duress and Bronze Two Handed Battle Axe...I found him near the twin houses and x-roads so he should'nt be too hard to find. By the way it was at nighttime, that could be a clue...

I haven't found Zarchoomi yet, but Corflunk does spawn in the daytime, thats when i killed him
Harder than con!
# Sep 04 2000 at 8:19 PM Rating: Decent
These guys hit a lot harder than con! A level 8 corflunk beat my level 9 warrior bad! I didn't even get 1/2 of his hitpoints! Un/luckily someone ran up and whooped him, too bad they took the head to show to his wife =(

y are these items dwarf only? that sucks. i mean ill do the quest just to get the stuff the sell it but why is it dwarf only?
RE: Dwarf only?
# Feb 05 2001 at 6:41 AM Rating: Default
The amrmor is that of the Kaladim Bloodforge Brigade. Im sure they are greatful for all the other races for smiting their most hated of foes, but don't go looking for them to forge you some to fit when Brigade members consist entirely of zealous crazy beserker dwarves who have a hard enough time believeing you can hold your liquor let alone become a member of the Brigade.
