    Prime Patriarch Vuzx is located on the second floor of the Temple of Terror.

    You say, 'Hail, Prime Patriarch Vuzx'

    Prime Patriarch Vuzx says, 'Greetings. I only train those who follow the path of the Patriarchs of Cabilis and have yet to develop their [powers] over the beasts of the wild, or maybe you are trained and are here to [help aid in our cause]?'

    You say, 'I will help aid his cause.'

    Prime Patriarch Vuzx says, 'Good. Well we shall see how well you match up with our needs with this first mission. Go out beyond the safety of our city walls and bring back proof of your inner strength and training. This proof will be in the form of a sarnak raider brain, a froglok bounder javelin, an Iksar bandit mask, and a mandible from a rogue shaman.'

    You'll need to head out into the surrounding area of Cabilis to collect these items :
    - a sarnak crypt raider can be found in the Lake of Ill Omen, near the explorer tower ;
    - a froglok bounder can easily be found on an island in the Swamp of No Hope at about -1000, 2500 ;
    - an iksar bandit can be found in the pit in the Field of Bone ;
    - a rogue shaman can also be found in the Field of Bone in the evening northeast of Kurn's Tower.

    Hand these four items in for your claw.

    Prime Patriarch Vuzx says 'I said do not return without a sarnak raider brain, a goblin hunter javelin, an iksar bandit mask, and a mandible from a rogue shaman.'
    Prime Patriarch Vuzx says 'I said do not return without a sarnak raider brain, a goblin hunter javelin, an iksar bandit mask, and a mandible from a rogue shaman.'
    Prime Patriarch Vuzx says 'I said do not return without a sarnak raider brain, a goblin hunter javelin, an iksar bandit mask, and a mandible from a rogue shaman.'
    Prime Patriarch Vuzx says 'You have done well on your way to becoming a great patriarch. Now I must tend to other pressing issues. Take your reward and wear it proudly.'

    Your faction standing with Scaled Mystics got better.
    Your faction standing with Legion of Cabilis got better.
    You gain experience!!

    To get Cabilis faction you need to do 3 things:

    - kill Goblins
    - kill Iksar Bandits of all levels
    - turn in huge quantities of Bone Chips to Trooper Mozo

    So you can kill goblins and bandits until Mozo isn't KOS then sneak close to him for the bone chip hand ins. The toughest faction to get is Necro; but you don't necessarily need that for the BST quests, I don't think...

    Never mind...the rogue shaman in Warsliks apparently doesn't drop the mandible. I turned in the jawless skull he drops and got nothing back.

    I have searched for the rogue shaman for several days now.
    From what I gathered he has been most seen in the grassy area just northeast of Kurns.
    If anybody reads this in 2013, I would be glad to get some input on it.

    I began my first task for the Empire by venturing into the Swamp of No Hope to hunt Froglok bounders once I had achieved the rank of Scale Postulant (ooc: Level 10 Iksar Beastlord with no claw). In hindsight, it would have been beneficial to me to obtain some leech husks while I was there, but I dared not stay longer than necessary. There is a reason why it is called the Swamp of NO HOPE, after all. I followed the old Empire road and it was not long until I came upon a bounder, or rather, he upon me. He was a bounder that had earned his javelin, and he was quite skilled with it. What's worse is that the bodies of the long dead roam the swamp, especially near the trail. I was forced to fight the skeleton that had happened upon us in the middle of our duel, while my warder fought the bounder. It was an easy task for my warder, however, being skilled as she is. Unfortunately, I found myself facing another bounder as well as more of the dead. I called to Cazic-Thule for help just as I felt my life force slipping from me, and the soulbinder of Cabilis drew my soul from my body before it was slain, giving me life anew.

    Unfortunately, running through half of Cabilis and the Swamp with no clothing was not what I had in mind when I began to serve the Empire. I asked Shakar if he had any clothing for me, but he answered in the negative. Personally, I believe that he just could not stand to clothe me. Nonetheless, I returned to the body that used to hold my soul and reclothed myself.

    Moving on to Field of Bone, I searched high and low for bandits. I do not know if all betrayers to the Empire wear such masks, but I slew two footpads with no success. Finally, I searched Southeast of The Pit, and happened upon a few bandits amongst the skeletons. I cannot fathom what dark rites they performed to ally themselves with the dead, but my task was to kill bandits. The bandit I killed had a lovely scale pattern and a tail that was not... unimpressive. I could see him fathering many broodlings in Cabilis. It is a shame he chose a life of betrayal and crime.

    I had heard the rogue shaman practice their dark rituals near Kurn's Tower in the twilight. I searched for them there, but I could not find them. I asked Drix, but he had not seen any. Still, I decided to not waste my time waiting, and drew many undead and forsaken to where Drix lay in wait. In addition to the area near Kurn's Tower, I searched the nearby Warslik Woods, but could not find any rogue shaman. I did manage to find a number of bandits, however, and barely escaped with my life. While I pondered where to search next, I began hunting and slaying undead, forsaken, and scorpions to the Southeast of The Pit. To my surprise, it seems that the rogue shaman are the reason why the forsaken get along so well with the undead, for before my eyes, I saw a forsaken shaman practicing his dark arts nearby. I drew him to the lip of The Pit, where his friends would not see him in danger. The fight was not difficult, and my warder and I took him down with ease. Retrieving the mandible, however, was not a pleasant experience.

    Sarnaks are in no small number, but to find a particular Sarnak, the Crypt Raider, is more difficult. I had heard that there is a Sarnak outpost near the Lake of Ill Omen, and I began searching for it, but the area was crawling with strong dead and I chose not to press the issue for the time being. Instead, I sought out the Vah Shir (the only race that has chosen not to invade Kunark, and thus worthy enough to be called our allies), as they were the first ones to develop such mastery over the beasts. They managed to assist me in the development of my skills, and by the time I reached the rank of Wolf Postulant (ooc edit: Level 24 Iksar Beastlord with no claw), I was ready to return to face the dead in search of the Crypt Raiders. I found myself near the lake with a tower nearby. I think I may have spotted a softskin or two there, but they were cowards, as softskins tend to be. I made short work of the dead and the Sarnak nearby, but alas, I found no Crypt Raider. I made camp nearby and woke up to find more dead and Sarnak in the area. It was clear that there was some guiding hand behind them all, and I looked to the West to see a Sarnak standing atop a small ridge, watching me with his Draconian eyes. I knew, as if Cazic-Thule himself had told me, that this was the Sarnak I had been looking for. I engaged him, and he fell easily, so used to commanding minions rather than fighting himself.

    I took his brain and returned to Patriarch Vuzx for my reward: The rank of Cub and the weapon of those who have proven themselves to be on the path to becoming a Patriarch.

    Saving this. The name purge did things. Years ago there was another purge and the Yoozmi and Callme Ennytime story vanished. Someone keeps stealing the gems and hiding them.
    New Troll Beast lord would like to do quests

    I recently started a Troll Beast Lord and would like to do the claw quests. I am thinking that I should train in field of bone to raise my faction. Is the bone chips the only quest to raise above kos and about how many do I have to turn in to be non-kos and a worshiper of Cazic-thule?
