Exterminate the Vermin (Oggok)

Some useful information I've found on this quest.

First off, there is a spawn point for armadillos near the bank and warrior guild in Oggok. To reach it, come out of the bank, turn right and go to the second opening to the right (sorry I don't have a loc for it, will post when I get it). Stop here and turn right and look away from the warrior guild. Armadillos spawn here and up the hallway.

Next comes the hard part. You have to find the armadillo that spawned here last and kill it. It may have wandered quite aways away, so be prepared to search for it. When you find an armadillo kill it (don't worry about the young ones yet) get back to this spot and be ready. They spawn about 10 seconds after you kill the last one. Once you get the cycle going, rinse and repeat until your hearts desire.

Second, once you have the cycle going, keep your eye on the spawn point and be ready for the next one. Some other armadillos and young ones pass by here also. If you feel comfortable, grab them too, otherwise let them pass. Stay focused on keeping the cycle going. Once you get the rythem, and depending on your level, you can kill 2 or 3 a minute.

Third, pull the armdillos to you. Casters should use a low mana cost spell (I used shallow breath and let my pet do the majority of the work). Melee types should bring TONS of ammo due to the volume of buisness. Try to avoid chasing the little buggers down. It really easy when you don't have to move to pull, kill, and loot.

Doing this, I averaged a stack of husks in about an hour with a lvl 12 DE Enc. I never had to slow up due to mana shortage and my pet was killing them usually in 2 attacks.

Finally, if you use this method, and decide to leave the spawn point for good (leaving zone or camping), do a quick check to see if someone else in the zone is hunting armadillos. If so, see if they will take your spot and keep the chain going.

Of course, now that I've posted this, Sony will go in and fix it so that the spawn point is more spread out, or doesn't spawn as often.

Unrelated to the quest, but my guild (Champions of Brell) was raiding Ogguk today, and we came across this guy near the ent and fought him. We were a small raiding party, about 20 people only, mostly level 55 to 65, but a couple mid 40s like me. This guy was dark blue to me, yet he took our group a little over an hour to kill. We figured he had about 500k hps. He fought melee only, hit in the 50 to 80 range mostly, and did nothing else special. Dropped a gold band, crude stein, and bone spear. Was kind of funny actually. We were just persistent, and wanted to kill him for the heck of it.
