Hail, Dar Master Griblok
Dar Master Griblok says 'Welcome back, young Dar. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. Also, though you've chosen a life of adventure, remember that you may still be called upon to defend your homeland. To do this, you must be well prepared for war. Let me tell you what little I know of this land and aid you in your [first steps].' What first steps? Dar Master Griblok says 'The city is a place of sanctuary for all Frogloks. We count many friends among the good races of the land, but we have few true allies yet. We are bordered by the evil Feerrott to the south and the desolate Southern Desert of Ro to the north. Even Guk, the city-dungeon whose entrance you will see as you wander the swamp, has its darker aspects. We will need to build our might if we are to survive. Are you by chance a [new warrior]? I am a new warrior. Dar Master Griblok says 'Ah, good. The Army and its reserve are always in need of fresh courage. Every new warrior must attempt the training I personally oversee. I say attempt because these exercises will test you to the very limit. Now, if you have enough of the courage we seek, we [may begin]. You may begin Dar Master Griblok says 'Good. Take this Field Armorer Kit. It will allow you to use the [looted valuables] and even bodies of your enemies to form basic armor materials. These basic materials will prove quite valuable. When placed into a forge along with the proper mold, it will allow you to craft your own Armor of the Dar Initiate. You receive Field Armorer's Kit What looted valuables? Dar Master Griblok says 'As I said, spoils of war and bodies will provide the supplies you need. Innothule Swamp, the murky land just beyond the city gates, holds some of the items you seek. You may also have to talk to local merchants to locate the odd piece. When you are ready to attempt these quests, you need only tell me what you [want] and I will provide further instruction. I can teach you the recipes and give you the armor molds for the Armor of the Dar Initiate [Helm], [Breastplate], [Armplates], [Bracer], [Gauntlets], [Leggings], and [Boots]. I want boots You receive a boots mold Dar Master Griblok says 'A soldier's life is a life of travel. For your boots you'll need a Kobold Scalp, two Chunks of Digested Earth, and an Undead Froglok Talisman. Combine these ingredients in your kit. I finally got the Undead Froglok Talisman from the Undead Ghoul in front of the raft. He does drop it because i have been looking for this item for almost a month. Even though im level 16, it doesnt do me any good anymore. Chunks of digested earth comes from the Adult Bleeder Larva and Bleeder Larva, I found them mainly in the North side of the zone and the Kobald scalp around the center of the zone.

The undead froglok talisman drops off of Froglok Ghouls. It does NOT drop off of Fetid Froglok Ghouls, or the named Undead Froglok. 4 Froglok Dhouls spawn in front of the Dark Elf NPC close to the tower near the NE corner of Innothule Swamp. They were green to me at level 9.

Actually i got it off of a fetid froglok ghoul I killed about 40 to get it.

Actually, It does drop of the named ghoul (Rustef Uundal) but not off the Initiate. It also appears to drop off the Regular ghouls but only as a very rare drop.

Finally got the talisman last night off one of the Undead Ghouls. I probably had to kill 20-30 of them before one dropped though the nice thing is that they re-spawn very quickly. That spot can be tricky to solo since the many undead there aggro over everything near them and you can quickly find yourself fending off multiple fetid ghouls. Not to mention the wandering burlys etc that often roam that area.

I got two chunks of digested earth on a larvae bleeder
The undead Talisman drops off a named undead froglok, (not the initate), near a tower in the NE corner of the zone. Marked on EQ maps as Tower 2. Excellent place for lvling 9 to 11. A group of 4 is perfect for the place we had no trouble. Lots of wandering monsters there.

It's possible this is true though the Undead Ghouls spawn much more regularly than the named guy does. In the hours camping this spot for the talisman he popped 3 times for me max.

Boots are AC 6 STR+1 STA+1 HP+5
Chunks of digested earth drop from bleeder larvae, little black worms that seem to congregate near Guk entrance, although they are not as common as the pupae. Drop is not all that rare (gotten three chunks from about 10 kills). Inventory graphic looks like stalking probe.
Kobold scalps are easy to come by if you go to the island near Feerrott zone... there are about 4-5 kobolds that spawn there (great place to level if you are in the 6-9 range).
Don't know where undead froglok talisman comes from... bought it from a merchant in Gukta.

I've searched every single merchant in Gukta and not one sold the talisman. Anyone else buy it? If so from whom?

Does anyone know what drops the chunks of digested earth,apparently noone on bristlebane server does becuase everyone is asking what does. I have killed just about everything and have never seen it. Also where does the undead frogloks spawn, lookin for them too... Thanks for any help.
