Im a level 65 rogue, 250 poison making, I have all the poisons and the blade in a backpack. She still will not give me the quest, I have ally (not max yet) and this is.... July 14th 2004. Either im doing somthing wrong or you need more faction to do this quest.
ALSO:saying the keyword for the box will not give me the quest.

Race is Half-Elf, born in Qeynos, deity is Tunare so I should be good with em :\
Update: Max ally faction now, renux despawned just as I got to her, no time to hail. Will edit again if it works. Well server going down now, will let you know tomorrow =P
After sitting in WK next to the little house she lives in for 9 hours straight (would check comp every 8 PM =p) she didnt spawn. One 8 pm I moved away from her house and to the bandit camp to the west, soon as it hit 8 pm I walked back and she was up. Might have an anti-camp code but I prolly just got unlucky. Anyway, got quest, got seal, and its great.
Update: Was reading that she wont give quest unless you have vile so not sure if she gave me quest cause I was max ally or because now I had the vial on me.
REMEMBER TO TURN IN YOUR NO RENT VIAL BAG IN THE BAZAAR FIRST!!

This quest version of Renux Herkanor stands near Toxfoddler in West Karana, at -2995, -13395. She spawns at 7 PM gametime, although not every day, and remains up for approximately 15 minutes. Spotted in the hut at 7 am too, but the spawn time needs to be confirmed.
Make a Grandmaster Assassin's Vial and have it on your person before hailing or Renux won't give you the quest or the container. You say, 'Hail, Renux Herkanor' Renux Herkanor says 'Master Hanns is going to kill me! I let that dark assassin look at his prized poison collection and he lifted it all when I wasn't looking! He even snatched his Grandmaster's Vial! Master Hanns was so furious he grabbed one of his old blades from his collection and jabbed it at the wall so hard it shattered! I really need some help replacing all that was ruined or I have a feeling Master Hanns is going to send me on a suicide mission!' You say, 'I will help you replace all that was ruined.' Renux Herkanor says 'Fantastic! I need to replace all those old poisons, the vial and that old scareling blade. I think the bottles had the following written on them Bane, Burn, Essence, Sloth, Rage, Swiftness, Disorientation, and Dimethyl. Please hurry!' Receive a 10-slot Unfilled Box. Items list: 1. Iron Dimethyl 2. Soul Burn 3. Spirit of Sloth 4. Mages Bane 5. Susceptible Essence 6. Warlord's Rage 7. Rending Swiftness 8. Twisting Disorientation 9. Eyerazzia 10. Grand Assassin's Vial Need to combine the 10 Items in the box to craft a Grandmaster's Box. Hand this back to Renux to receive your reward. Renux Herkanor says 'Great! Looks like everything is here! There is no anti camp code just for the record, she poped right in front of me.
Maybe this is a dumb question, if so, I'm sorry. You say you have all the poisons & the dagger. Are you sure you have the Grandmaster's Vial, as well?

True, Renux doesn't spawn every time, but she does appear to spawn randomly at 8PM game time.
You do not need ally faction to receive or finish the quest. You DO need warmly faction.
By the time I got my faction to warmly, my Qeynos Guards faction could not possibly get any worse... so beware the consequences of killing guards to up Circle of Unseen Hands. It'll take a lotta gnoll slaying to repair that damage.
Also, once you hand in the box for your seal, Renux says, "Great! Looks like everything is here! Hopefully Master Hanns won't send me to Steamfont now, I have a really bad feeling about that assignment..." If you've completed your epic already... well... join me in the laughter.

Seems Renux doesn't spawn every night at 8pm game time. I had her pop the first time I came in zone but was indifferent to her so couldnt do quest. After doing factioning for awhile I came back and waited for her to spawn at 8pm and she did not. So I went back to factioning until the next eq night at 8pm, and when I returned she did NOT spawn again. Any tips on how often she spawns?

Sorry to double post but just noticed that the minimum level listed is 60. My lil rogue is lvl 51 and has his gm trophy/bag and Renux has given him the box. Will update later whether or not she gives him the seal.

Took my lazy 51 Dorf Rake to WK to get this box and could not find the loc anywhere in these posts so I thought I would share it. LOC of Renux in WK is neg 3006 neg 13384. WK is much too large of a zone to being looking for an NPC blindly. Thank you Tanns(Vaz) for your time in tracking this previously dead woman. CoU faction is easily corrected killing the Capt at the guard shack in NK next to the Wizzy spires. Now only thing that remains is the miniature fire imps in fear which I will kill tonite, hope the dagger drops.

Just wondering, because i haven't seen anything on this, does the +5% Poison making stack from both GM Vial & Geerlock ? Or is it just +5% ? thnx

how often does renux spawn in wk? i went to visit her in qeynos at ally faction and she wouldnt give the quest there so i assume she has to be in wk for it to work. but every time i look shes not there. is there a way to make her spawn faster or is there a certain time she spawns?

While seeking faction for my GMPS < i came across a quick way to max it , (UnseenHand ): Kill the captain at the top floor of the bridge tower in NK ( the bridge by the spires ). 3 kills Max faction > :) good hunting Reishi 65 Rogue MT
I am assuming that if you do this quest, then you will lose your Grandmaster Assassin's Vial for good =( So if you want to be able to summon the Grandmaster Satchels, does that mean you have to make another GM Vial?

Hopefully you have found out about seeing Joleum (sp.)? in bazaar. After you make your first clicky bag, Hail, Joleum. HE is a gnome standing on a table on the south side,second flr, out on the balcony/deck thing. Just look up EQ Atlas/bazaar/quests :) Enjoy...almost have my faction set with CoUHs' to initiate the Seal turn-in, all 8 potions collecting dust atm.
i like the fact that in one bag i can carry not just 10 but 100 applications :)

Renux won't give me the quest. I am "amiably", poison is 201, and I am a lvl 60 rogue. Any ideas? she says I need more knowlege. Is this a faction issue, a poison skill issue, or ?.

I had a mean time trying to no hope moss killed frogs all over the place to get find it and no luck. Finally found a spot in the froglok town around neg 1435, neg 1397 where it dropped. I found it only dropped in this location, only off shins or gaks, and only about 1 in 10 to 20 dropped, but when they did they always dropped 2. Good luck guys.

I have been killing various bandits and brigands in West Karana for positive circle of unseen hands faction boosts, and I can confirm Renux will GIVE the quest with WARMLY faction, now i keep seeing people say you must have max ally to complete , has anyone lost the combined box due to faction?? at kindly she would not give the quest, once I hit warmly though she was singing like a bird

any idea where the no hope moss id found for the sesceptible essence??
No Hope Moss is found in Swamp of No Hope in the Frog town off of random Frogs. I killed close to a hundered per 2 drops of the moss on average. Beware the Ulaump (or something like that) that is quite higher and a nasty agro.

So after you complete this and have used your vial, can you just make another vial and have the seal and the vial in different slots? Prolly a dumb question, but whatever.

You need to have good faction with circle of unseen hands in order to this quest. At indifferently, Renux didnt give out the quest. So if you have already completed the epic, will take a small amount of work to fix faction with the circle.

Very very nice post. The only thing I see that needs editing is your Iron Dimethy recipe, it takes (2) Quicksilvers to complete.
Awsome post and thank you for you efforts in gathering the correct info. Being a Grandmaster of Poisons I still have yet to complete some of the poisons listed. Eyerazzia was a default for me when I was the only rogue without one on my first trip to fear. Glad I didn't Destroy it :)
