This newbie quest begins with Sadorno Chomosh in the Tabernacle of Terror in Paineel (cleric guild).

You say, 'Hail, Sadorno Chomosh'

Sadorno Chomosh says 'Salutations. I am Sadorno Chomosh, Templar of Terror. The path of terror taught to us by Cazic Thule is a dangerous way of life. The perils are great but the rewards are unimaginable power. In order to harness the powers of fear you must first know that which you seek to control, terror, dread, and fright. I presume that you are still young and have much to learn. If that is the case I will assist you in acquiring [armaments] to aid you on your journey to power.'

You say, 'What armaments?'

Sadorno Chomosh says 'You will require this Mail Assembly Kit that has been prepared in advance for the construction of Templar of Fright Armor. The materials required for the armors construction vary according to the section you desire to craft. When you have acquired your suit of armor return to me and perhaps you can assist me with a [pending task]. Do you desire to craft a [templar of fright helm], a [templar of fright bracer], [templar of fright gauntlets], [templar of fright boots], [templar of fright vambraces], [templar of fright greaves], or a [templar of fright breastplate]?'

You say, 'What pending task?'

Sadorno Chomosh says, 'The Tabernacle of Terror has many enemies here on Odus who oppose our teachings our patron deity, Cazic-Thule. The Priests of Prexus and Quellious in the city of Erudin seek to purge Odus of our kind, for they view us as a disgrace to the Erudite race. Behind their disdain however, lies fear. It is this fear that allows us to prosper and become more powerful than the closed minded fools of Erudin. In the Toxxulia forest you will find such a fool, a priest by the name of Verogone Wayfinder. This priest has been attempting to ward the Toxxulia Forest from the presence of the undead. Seek this Verogone Wayfinder and return to me with his head.'

Turning in the head results in a Rusty Templar of Fright Cudgel.

Sadorno Chomoso says 'Well done ______. Let that be a message to those fools in Erudin who wish to oppose Paineel and the Tabernacle of Terror. Take this Rusty Templar of Fright Cudgel and refine it in a forge with a sharpening stone. It may take you several attempts if you are unfamiliar with the process. Once that has been accomplished bring the Refined Templar of Fright Cudgel, a Large Briar Snake Skin, and a Petrified Eveball. I will put the finishing touches on the weapon.'

You receive a Rusty Templar of Fright Cudgel. Combine it with a Sharpening Stone in a forge (trivial 19) to make a Refined Templar of Fright Cudgel.

In Toxxulia Forest, loot a Large Briar Snake Skin (off large snakes) and Petrified Eyeball (off a fading spectre).

Give the Cudgel, the Skin and the Eyeball to Sadorno Chomoso.

Sadorno Chomosh fashions a grip from the large briar snake skin, fastens the petrified eyeball to the pommel of the Cudgel, and polishes the weapon with a shimmering black substance. 'I present you with a Templar of Fright Cudgel. May it serve you well in your service to Cazic-Thule and the Tabernacle of Terror.'

Terago conned light blue to my 11th Necro, and went down pretty easily.

He certainly isn't light blue to 11. He was red to me on 9, and I tried to fight him anyway...got him to just over 50 percent, but ultimately being hit for 28 kinda got to me. At least there's a nice long delay between his swings.

...turn in Terago's head, and you get a rusty Templar of Fright Cudgel. You are then instructed to return the Cudgel after sharpening it in a forge, along with a large Briar snake skin, and a petrified eyeball (drops off of a fading spectre, wanders zone near Paineel entrance, spires). Results in Templar of Fright Cudgel, 1hb, 9/33, wis+2. Not bad for a newbie cleric weapon.

Btw Terago dropped quite easily with a lvl 11 cleric and lvl 11 SK.

Of curiousity, does Terago stand at a particular location or roam around Toxx? I've run over at least half of the southern part of the forest and not seen him anywhere. Just looking for some heads up so I know if I need to bring my ranger over to find him or not.

He's actually on the north side of the forest. Head across the bridge, then hang a right and follow the river bank. You'll come to a small building not too far from the druid ring. Terago stands near a tree by the shore. Con'd red to my little level 5 :p .
