Having done a couple of the complete armor quests... the dwarven Brell's Blessed armor is easy to get with only the bandit tongues required being no drop-- most everything else could be bought if need be(some kind soul gave me 10pp for a rock spiderling leg--helped to aquire needed things quickly). The warhammer is good for a newbie--better damage and delay over the club you start out with-- i was happy to get it.
I was going to try to do the Screaming Mace to replace my Flail, but the damage ratio on this is better and it is easier to get. So what if I have to keep chaincasting Yaulp instead of getting it from a proc. The extra damage is worth it.
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?

Can someone tell me why Haldorak just took by bloods - twice? At first I thought it was because I was only Lvl 9, but he did it again at 10. Do they maybe need to be unstacked?

Yes, lately they've been requiring unstacked items for quests. I learned the lesson turning bone chips in for faction with Cabilis (turned in 4 stacks of 4 as I used to, and got one set of faction hits, 12 chips eaten. Just unstack them and turn them in, you should be fine.
its magic... need I say more? I mean how many people played EQ to have that wave of panic wash over you as a willowwisp or a ghoul beats the CRAP out of you. They might even con lower then you, you smirk, you walk over and you simply never had a magic weapon... Its got a GOOD ratio and its MAGIC. Thats better then FINS STEEL at level 5. Come on! people need to stop complaining.

This weapon quest and the complete armor quest was very easy to finish and it looks very cool.
I asked the AG farmers for the bricks and passing high levs help to kill the bandits for other bits. So at lev 3 I had the complete set.
Oh yer i almost forgot, the pristine scale happened to be the easiest part since all i had to do was wait for the owner of the scale to kill the druid that also wanted to get a scale and then hit it a few times and Viola 1 pristine cale :). My heal at lev 3 wasnt good enough to save the druid so it happened.

Blessed Brellium Warhammer (dmg 9, dly 34, magic, wt 0.8). Sure, it's easy to do if you have 24pp to waste on this -- of course, now that newbies can rake in the plat in Butcherblock from the new drops, that is doable. I looted the green goblin blood, but bought the aqua goblin blood becuase they kicked my butt at level 7, and I was tired of waiting for them to come out of the water.
Not a great weapon -- but better than some of the others given to newbies. Doesn't even look like a hammer (has that 'rusty mace' look). Better ratio than the spiny warhammer I was using, and the weight is nice.

24pp? 2 vials of aqua goblin blood cost me 6pp and I sold 2 vials of green goblin blood for 8 and change...... Easy and with a profit!
Blood bought from vendors is about 6pp per vial, depending on your faction and charisma. They will purchase blood for about 4pp -- my dwarf cleric gets less than that, but my high elf cleric gets 4pp 5gp per vial. In my experience, no NPC vendor sells an item for less than he pays for it...

Yep easy to obtain - but the High Elven weapon has some nice +wis stats. Only difficult part for that one is the Pristine forest drakeling scale, and being patient enough to wait on levels to kill the named Orc by the Arsonist.

THAT....or use an alt Ranger to snare, dot and slay both orcs..then log and pop back with your cleric right there to pick up the loot. The real snag is getting that thriced damned scale...even the amber is fairly easy even with low spawn rates of mature aboreans. There is ALWAYS a snag..it is Verant!
