You say, 'Hail, Tilania Shadowwalker'

Tilania Shadowwalker says 'Greetings to you Lirla. I welcome you to the Scouts of Tunare training halls. I have seen many scouts pass through my halls with unimaginable abilities and daggers guided by Tunare herself. I cannot say for certain what the future has in store for you. But I can say that wherever your adventures may take you it is always wise to have the proper [training].'

You say, 'what proper training'

Tilania Shadowwalker says 'The training that I speak of is only intended for rogues of Tunare that wish to develop skills that will mold them into the most deadly assassins in all of the lands. If you are a [rogue of Tunare] then I will be happy to explain the training exercises to you. However, if you are not a rogue I suggest you seek training from another house.'

You say, 'I am a rogue of Tunare'

Tilania Shadowwalker says 'Excellent Lirla, let us get started then. Your training will test your fighting and gathering skills respectively, because of the items you will be required to gather all over the Faydark for [magical armor materials].'

You say, 'what magical armor materials?'

Tilania Shadowwalker says 'First things first, here is your Assassins Mail Assembly Kit. Inside this kit you will combine different magical items, which in certain quantities in your mail kit can create armor materials for specific pieces of Tunarean Scouts Armor. Once you have completed a specific armor material you can then place it in a forge with the applicable pattern to create your piece of armor. Simply tell me what armor piece you [want] to craft and I can provide you with the material recipes and armor patterns for [Coifs], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Boots], [Legplates], [Gauntlets] and [Tunics].'

You say, 'I want to craft tunic'

Tilania Shadowwalker says 'To create your tunic material you will need to combine 5 Bricks of Crude Bronze, 1 Coyote Skull, 1 Orc Ribcage, 1 Pristine Forest Drakeling Scale, 1 Crushbone Shoulderpads and 1 Golden Bandit Tooth in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Tunic of the Tunarean Scout. Please return to me after you have completed your tunic, for I have one final [favor] to ask of you.'

The tunic is the hardest part of the armor quest, second hardest being the basilisk hatchling hide for the boots.

I found most of the items readily available to buy through different merchants in Kelethin. The ribcage and coyote skull were the most annoying for me. I finally got the ribcage off of an orc slaver or lego i believe.

And a note: the coyotes are seriously lacking in the GFay, so i suggest taking your time to kill black wolves or shadow wolves as they will also drop the coyote skull eventually. For level 11 and down i think its worth getting.
Ribcage

Took ages to get the ribcage but finally it dropped off a trained Legionnaire at the zone point, so I guess the Leggos do have them :-)

Pristine scale, normal and ruined all in bulk on a vendor when I looked. i know the ribcages are rare. and no. the hardest part is EACH individual item being forged, heading back, getting a pattern, And the bricks weighing 15 stones. it sucks. And the Bracers are a pain (the pattern is lore) forge then go get another pattern. the weight of the bronze alone, by far is the most anoying part of this quest. I practially crawled from crushbone, and I had combined some patterns in the field.

I also became concerned about my bloodsabe faction. I am a woodelf, but you never know. so im doing kobalds instead, needed coyote parts and stuff anyways. Word to the wise get all the noob patterns you intend to do that run. Combine them in the battle field. the combined item is MUCH lighter, looks like a firing sheet.

and if you do Kobald camp be aware of that lvl 11 rogue - Feddi Dooger - hes pretty nasty

is this worth it for my semi-twinked half-elf rogue? he started in kelethin, he has a walrus tooth and a spore covered tunic and some other stuff that i cant remember...
Hard

Obviously, the hardest part of this quest is the pristine Forest Drakeling scale, as all wood elf and (as far as i know) high elf newbie chest slots need em. The next hardest is orc ribcages, which ive only seen drop off centurions by the slaver pit. Gl

Actually, the ribcage was the hardest for me, but maybe I will give the cents around the slavers a try, now.

My second drakeling scale was a pristine. I prolly was just lucky, but hell, I'll take it.
