I've seriously been PO'ed at the quest system in EQ. I am on my Battlemasters full platemail quests. If I want the mold for the BRACER and I ask him for it he never reply's. He says, "I can provide you with recipes and armor molds for Battlemasters Platemail [breastplate] [greaves] [boots] [gauntlets] [bracers] and [sleeves]. What the HECK do i say to him to retrieve the mold for the bracers... omg

I have got the mold several times with "I want to craft bracers"
Has to be plural or he doesn't give it. Even though the mold only makes a single bracer.

I got all these items in the newbie yard the Rat Eyes drop off the rats I have recieved 5 so far and the King snake poison sacs drop from random snakes I have gotten them from the gopher snakes.
for the grey wolf teeth you can find them on the merchants for a few gold if I remeber correctly at least on the Stromm server. and Don't forget get 2 of each item so you will have a Bracers for each wrist the mold is Lore so you have to make one then get the mold again and they are red in color. Hope this helps

The warrior bracer quest has been fixed on the test server. Expect a patch to the live servers soon, if it hasn't already occurred.
Rat eyes are dropping - quite frequently, actually - from field rats (large and giant) in Qeynos Hills. They have a unique graphic attached to them - it's not just a "green fire beetle eye." They're stackable and not no-drop. Regular giant rats (not the field variety) may drop them as well. Other Qeynos armor quests that have been bottlenecked by the lack of rat eyes should now be able to be completed (including the Rodcet paladin boots and BP).
King snake poison sacs are dropping from gopher snakes in the newbie area of North Qeynos. They might also drop in the hills off king snakes, but they dropped with enough frequency right by the gate that I didn't have to look elsewhere. As with the rat eyes, they're stackable and tradeable. They have the reddish-purple snake venom sac graphic.
The other components weren't broken. Gray wolf fangs continue to drop from gray wolves in Qeynos Hills. Ore is a common drop from various gnolls in the hills and BlackBurrow.
The drop rates, and mobs that drop them, may be tweaked before the patch makes it to the live servers, but at least we know a fix is in the works.
I still see a lot of sleeveless newbie warriors in the Qeynos area though. So if you're hoping for a fix on the warrior armguards, doesn't look good at the moment... :/
Send a tell to my warrior tester if you want confirmation that the quest is doable (at least on the test server). I don't know the exact stats off the top of my head, but if you want to see it, make a newbie and look for..

the poison sacs do exist there has been a player who has found them, as for the rats eyes, i can understand the frustration, have yet to find em
I got the rat eye off of a large field rat in Qeynos hills. Hope this helps.

One thing I do not like in a game, and turns me away from wanting to play it is misinformation!!! I have asked everyone in the zones if they have ever heard of a rat eye, and their response was always the same, "No". If there is no such thing as rat eyes, OR king snake skins!!

I don't know about what mobs might drop the items needed, but when I was doing the bard armor quests in Freeport on the day they came out me and another bard, both of us in our 30s and doing the quests for fun, killed every darkweed snake in EC and WC for 3 hours and never got the Darkweed Snake Bile we needed. The next day someone posted that the Bile dropped off rattlesnakes, and sure enough, the first one I killed had what I needed.
My point is that you should try killing other mobs....very likely that what you need will drop off something else completely unexpectedly.

No do on both items, must be ultra-rare! Thankfully the breastplate is the critical item, and the things for that are common enough. Good job too, as the Sword of the Battlemaster you get for completing the mission is quite a tasty loking sword and isnt too bad (dam 7, delay 29, Magic weapon).

i have killed tons of all kinds of rats and kingsnakes in qhills. Does anyone know if the rat eye and kingsnake venom sac are dropping
I got the rat eye from a large field rat and the venom sac from a gopher snake in North Qeynos. Hope this helps.

actually the king snake venom sacs are dropping quite often. i found like 7 each hour, they sell for good money so i murder the gopher snakes. as fir the eyes im not sure, ive killed about 5 field rats and found 1 rat eye kinda ggreenish in color. they might not be a common drop not tho.
