Once you have found and mastered it, your fists will be deadlier than any blade. I am also currently in charge of training our new recruits. If you are new monk of the Silent Fist I have some [tests] for you to complete.' You say, 'What test?' Seta Bakindo says 'I pride myself on passing some of the finest monks in all of the lands through my testing halls. I mainly attribute this fact to my training program that all young monks must undergo. When you are [ready to begin the tests] I will present you with your Silent Fist Assembly Kit and explain to you how the tests work.' You say, 'I am ready to begin the tests.' Seta Bakindo says 'Be mindful of your surroundings Treedent, it is here in Qeynos and in the adventuring areas surround it that you will find all the necessary items for creating Armor of the Silent Fist. You will place a number of items in this kit to created infused armor materials. These magical armor materials can then be combined in a loom with a magical pattern to create different Armor of the Silent Fist pieces. When you are ready to collect the items for a specific armor pieces please tell me what armor piece you [want] to craft. I can present you with the patterns for Silent Fist [Caps], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Sandals], [Trousers], [Gloves] and [Robes].' You say, 'I want to craft the robes.' Seta Bakindo says 'To create your robe material you will need to combine 5 Woven Spider Silks, 1 High Quality Cat Pelt, 1 Shadow Wolf Paw, 1 Severed Gnoll Foot, 1 Matted Lion Pelt and 1 Cloth Shirt in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a loom along with this pattern to fashion your very own Robe of the Silent Fist. Please come see me after you have completed your robe. I need to see you for some help with a [problem] our clan has been having.' You say, 'What problem?' Seta Bakindo says 'There have been numerous muggings lately in Qeynos by corrupt guards. These guards are sworn to protect, server and uphold law in the city but all the do is break the law ten fold themselves. These corrupt individuals must be stopped. I have a [Silent Fist clan member] that I feel may be in trouble.' You say, 'Who is the silent fist clan member?' Seta Bakindo says 'Konem Matse is my friend and mentor, he resides in Qeynos Hills providing security for the Sayers there. Lately though I have heard reports of guards demanding he pay them tax or else. This tax they speak of does not exist. I need you to go to the hills and help Konem. Rid the lands of these corrupt guards and bring me their heads as proof. I will also need 1 High Quality Gnoll Fur for a tailoring project I have been working on. Return to me with these items and you will be rewarded for your troubles.' Bring Seta a High Quality Gnoll Fur (found off upper level gnolls in the Qeynos area) and the heads of Corrupt Guards Yalroen and Sironan (both located in Qeynos Hills). I have a level 4 monk friend and we decided to get his newbie weapon. I was using my level 12 necro for the fight and they both conned yellow. When you pull one both will come, so I cast Darkness on the first and of course it resisted so i put pet on the other that aggroed and I lured the one chasing me to the qeynos zone as my pet stayed alive long enough on the other one to keep them seperated. I zoned into Qeynos and zoned right back into the hills. Wham! Summonned my pet and hit the guard that was chasing with me with darkness and it stuck. then cast boil blood and it stuck so i just ran around until darkness faded. it was doing 38 hp per tick with both dots so by time it wore off mob was at 20%. Just sicked pet on it then. one down so i just quickly ran and did the other the same. Pretty good quest. Friend was happy.
Yes, a fun fight! Though at 51 the guards are obviously very easy. I just decided to do the quest while waiting on guild to assemble for some late night raiding.
You may complete this over and over to raise faction though the end product being no-drop is pesky. Just be careful once you do this many times or decrease faction with the evil guards, you will be KOS to the higher level evil guards (the Lieutenat in North Qeynos is one example). Man, he smoked me just recently and I never saw it coming.

anyone who's been on a decent hack and slash fest in Train Central (BB) will have bought back dozens of HQ gnoll furs. I have just come back from a short solo, and had 7 on me. they are not hard to find on gnolls, and quite a few gnolls (as in a gnoll) esp the ones near the elite ledge, will drop both a HQ and a patch of gnoll fur.

Wow.. they conned the same to *my* 21 half elf bard lol. Yea.. I killed 'em.. due to them bring corrupt and me killing anything that resembles a corrupt qeynos guard. Guess I'll hand these over to a lvl 1 monkie.. and the furs can be found on merchants all over and in BB. They look like patches of gnoll fur.

i saw these two outside the house in the hills, one light blue the other green to my human bard whos level 21, and slaughtered them purely out of principle (i look upon corrupt guards as only mildly less evil then druids, and i kill every time i can get them alone.) i decapitated them purely with the intent of mounting the heads on a pike and dropping it down the aqueducts for the bloodsabers to find, but now i find out someone who wants the heads. but the greedy bastards worked out a way to get someone to bring him tailoring gear for the reward of two copper peices. anyway, where can i get the high quality gnoll fur? is it in BB, after they made that huge update to the hills and town of qeynos?
