Ok, here's the spoiler:
Go kill rats. 1 in about 20 drops an unstackable plague rat tail. It sells for 1 plat 7 gold.
In the three hours since creating my character, I hit level 4 whacking rats. I had about 15 plat.
My gf told me to check out the quest, so I went, got the list of stuff, went to east commonlands.
I bought the components for three items in about a minute, and walked back (couldn't carry more bricks, they are heavy!). Got my armour.
Did not get any exp, but this armour is STUNNING! It is totally beautiful. Maybe its just because of my Luclin graphics and nice vid card, but the armour is silver, edged, and has jewels all over it and tinting on the borders. I'll be keeping this stuff for quite a while!
(btw, this is not my first char. I've been playing for about 10 months, and I've never seen armour that cost less than 6k that was this nice!)

This quest is available for Human Paladins of Marr.
You say, 'Hail, Edwardian Holyblade' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Greetings and well met Dukane. I am Edwardian Holyblade, noble paladin of Marr. I have devoted my life and my blade to the glory of Mithaniel Marr. I am also in charge of training all new paladins of Marr to make sure that they have the best training necessary. If you are a paladin of Marr I may have some [training] for you.' You say, 'what training' Edwardian Holyblade says 'I have developed a training program for all young and upcoming Paladins of Marr. My tests will enable you to learn some basic hunting, navigating and armor crafting skills. All of these abilities will be very important on your path to enlightenment. If you are [ready to begin my tests] I will explain to you how the tests will work.' You say, 'i am ready to begin your tests' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Very well Krohfak, I look forward to seeing you progress through your training. Here is your special mail assembly kit. In this kit you will combine a number of components that you will collect from all areas of Freeport, North Ro and the Commonlands. The components that you will gather and combine in this kit will magical create a specific armor material piece. Each of these materials will be combined in a forge with the appropriate mold that I will provide you with. I will explain to you how the [recipes] work when you are ready.' I suspect some of the confusion about where Edwardian is comes from the fact that he is NOT in the Temple of Marr (the place with the fountain out front). He is in the Hall of Truth (the place with the lake full of minnows and piranhas). As you go in the hall, take a left and go through a door on your left, up some stairs and he should be there.
Also, the armor works for both humans and half elves. However, I believe the sword is for humans only.

Argh, sorry, after you go in the Hall of Truth take a right and then a door to your right.
Just checking and wanted to make sure, erudite paladins can't wear this? They have paladins of marr and rodcet nife, but no Quellios? that stinks :(

I'm embarassed to say it, but I can't find this guy in the Marr guildhall. Is he gone, or is there some part of this temple I don't know about?

I got all the necessary ingredients which are pretty easy to find, but when I try to combine them in the Marr assembly kit, the game says I can't combine them ! I don't understand.....
And no I didn't stack the 2 bear paws.

Do these Truthbinger's training quests need to be completed in the order that E. Holyblade says them ? Should I have done the bracer before the armguards ? I already did the helm which combined fine.

OK, I combined the materials for the Armguards, now what? I went to a forge in FP, and I can't seem to do anything. Do I need smithing skill? If so, how much? And if/when I get enough, what do I do next - click the items onto the forge?
Normally you would left click the forge to open it up, put the items (do not stack), and the click COMBINE.

everytime i hail him he says nothing.... do i have to do something before i talk to this guy or what?
Maybe you aren't the right paladin (Marr). If you are, maybe the quest is partially briken. The DE cleric quest in Neriak has/had the same problem. Try just using the key phrases after the Hail. That seemed to work on the DE quest.

these paws are a pretty common drop off black bears in EC. And you can also buy them from vendors in EC.

I had no problem combining them, so it must be just you ;). I'm trying to see what you're doing wrong, but can't see any obvious mistakes that might be made. Double check that you have the proper ingredients and if the bear paws are stackable, make sure you aren't stacking them -- place them in two seperate slots. Other than that, I don't know why you're having trouble.
