This quest is intended for evil aligned rogues.
You say 'Hail Kaxon Frennor' Kaxon Frennor says 'Hail Clinical. I am Kaxon Frennor, master assassin of the Dark Reflection. I train talented gnomes that feel the calling of the Plaguelord, Bertoxxulous, and wish to [serve as a rogue] of the Dark Reflection. Disease and decay are powerful forces in Norrath that crumble kingdoms and silently kill even the mightiest of heros. It is the calling of the Dark Reflection to sow the seeds of destruction as a catalyst to change. What progress would there be if rulers did not die and clockworks did not malfunction, giving way to greater rulers and better clockworks.' You say, 'I wish to serve as a rogue' Kaxon Frennor says 'We are the spreaders of disease, the masters of poison, the death that comes silently from the shadows. You must outfit yourself with the tools of a rogue, crafted from the disassembled remains of clockworks that are finished serving the purpose for which they were built. In the Steamfont Mountains a Rogue of the Deep Muses, Jibble Blexnik, has been hunting and killing young members of the Dark Reflection that venture from Ak'Anon. Find this self-righteous rogue and eliminate him. When you have accomplished this task bring me Jibble's Stiletto.' Jibble Blexnik is located in Steamfont Mountains at loc +100, -1500. Jibble can be found at neg160, neg1900. He is standing with other goody-goody NPCs (i.e. all the ones the other evil classes have to kill, except the Warrior). Chances are if you try to pull one, you'll get all 4. Be carefull.

It did the same exact thing to me but with the SK quest ! and i lost the items... very disapointing
did ya'll know that if you choose to be a rogue of berxoultoxulus that you can just sneak until it says you are sneaking like a cat stalks its prey and you can hail the guy that hands out the patterns to you for goodie armor? HOWEVER you have to be behind him when you do talk to him and when you hail him he faces you so watch out! So this is just one way to get better equip if you are a bad, bad rogue gnome :) anyways this is the best especially when you are on a pvp server the peeps cant loot your stuff. Also another hint if you have really nice stuff that you are wearing and dont want someone whos a pker to steal it get 20 do a LDON and get an agmentation THEN all your gear (or the ones that you agment) turn into NO DROP GEAR! MUAAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!

i've asked the whole steamfront zone and many natives to the zone but no one knows where to find him can someone tell me?

If you're talking about Rebbie Romblerum he's in the maz.. I mean mines of malfunction somewhere, took me a good 7 minutes of wandering around aimlessly to locate him.. doubt I can do it a second time.

anyone done this?
i turned in the knife he gave it back to me and told me to sharpen it, which i did...and get a giant rat pelt then give it to some clockwork...i logged of course and didnt write it down lol...and when i got the giant pelt i gave it to who i though he told me to Clockwork VIIX in the mines of malfuction but it gave it right back to me said he had no need for it...anyone know the correct NPC to give this to?
