This quest is for evil aligned rogues.
You say 'Hail Kaxon Frennor' Kaxon Frennor says 'Hail Clinical. I am Kaxon Frennor, master assassin of the Dark Reflection. I train talented gnomes that feel the calling of the Plaguelord, Bertoxxulous, and wish to [serve as a rogue] of the Dark Reflection. Disease and decay are powerful forces in Norrath that crumble kingdoms and silently kill even the mightiest of heros. It is the calling of the Dark Reflection to sow the seeds of destruction as a catalyst to change. What progress would there be if rulers did not die and clockworks did not malfunction, giving way to greater rulers and better clockworks.' You say, 'I wish to serve as a rogue' Kaxon Frennor says 'We are the spreaders of disease, the masters of poison, the death that comes silently from the shadows. You must outfit yourself with the tools of a rogue, crafted from the disassembled remains of clockworks that are finished serving the purpose for which they were built. Take this parchment to Rebbie Romblerum, he will assist you in the construction of a suit of armor. When you have been properly outfitted return to me for your [next task].' Rebbie Romblerum says 'Hail Clinical! You must be one of Kaxon's new trainees. Kaxon has asked me to help get you outfitted in a suit of armor to protect you from the weapons of our foes. I have assembled a kit for you that will allow you to construct the armor pieces once you have gathered the necessary components. The required components vary according to which piece of Plague Rust Mail you are planning on assembling. Do you wish to craft a [plague rust coif], a [plague rust bracer], [plague rust gloves], [plague rust boots], [plague rust sleeves], [plague rust leggings], or a [plague rust tunic].' You say, 'I wish to craft a plague rust coif' Rebbie Romblerum says 'To assemble a Plague Rust Coif you will require two [silk thread], ruined ebon drakeling scales, and a rebel clockwork head plate. This item dropped for me off a Spiderling. It was south east of the Windmills.
did ya'll know that if you choose to be a rogue of berxoultoxulus that you can just sneak until it says you are sneaking like a cat stalks its prey and you can hail the guy that hands out the patterns to you for goodie armor? HOWEVER you have to be behind him when you do talk to him and when you hail him he faces you so watch out! So this is just one way to get better equip if you are a bad, bad rogue gnome :) anyways this is the best especially when you are on a pvp server the peeps cant loot your stuff. Also another hint if you have really nice stuff that you are wearing and dont want someone whos a pker to steal it get 20 do a LDON and get an agmentation THEN all your gear (or the ones that you agment) turn into NO DROP GEAR! MUAAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!

i dont get it, do you have to kill the runaway clockworks OUTSIDE of akanon, or is there a mob called rogue clockworks? ive killed a bunch of runaways, but i haveent seen ANY rogue ones...
who is rebbie? and were can he be found?

i think runaway clockworks drop this item because they drop wrist and boots maybe they drop headplate as well!

This must be one rare drop. Haven't found it yet - arms, legs, and breastplate items all drop from the rebel clockworks, but NO head.
