I hear that htis quest is gonna get nerfed... Don't know when, but since so many folks are buying the meat and not hunting for it...
I also bought all the meat I could carry and stash in the bank. Went through enough to lvl with my 16 dru, sold some, gave some away and x-fered some to another char... Good way to get xp and some cash (made appx 300pp on 6 full packs)

Gallin Woodwin (Warrior Guildmaster) is located at 323, 279, outside the Emerald Warriors guild in Kelethin.
You say, 'Hail, Gallin Woodwind' Gallin Woodwind says 'Greetings, friend! I am Gallin Woodwind of the Emerald Warriors. It is my charge to send forth Fier'Dal to [hunt for meat]. Kelethin's citizens must be nourished and this requires meat. Such is the circle of life.' You say, 'I will hunt for meat.' Gallin Woodwind says 'Good!! We have enough young warriors hunting in our woods. Your duty shall be to take this pack to the ocean and seek out sharks. Fill the bag with shark meat and combine it. I shall reward you with a fine piercing weapon.' You receive a Pack for Shark. Shark Meat drops off sharks in various zones : Erudin, Ocean of Tears, Qeynos Catacombs, Erud's Crossing, Cobalt Scar, Kedge Keep ... Combine 4 Shark Meat in the Pack for Shark to create Pack of Meat. Hand Gallin Woodwind the Pack of Meat. Gallin Woodwind says 'Very good. This meat will supply our warriors with much strength. We have found the meat from sharks to be quite nourishing. Here, then, are your wages and your weapon. All of Kelethin appreciates your great deed.' The easy way to do this quest... if it's simply to raise faction, is to goto Thurgadin and buy the shark meat (about 1sp i hear) hell of alot easier than killing sharks ;)

For the KOS fellas: this quest also raises the faction with the Kelethin/Felwith merchants (lowers faction with Indigo Brotherhood) & gives you experience. Drawback: you need to process approx. 20 full shark meat stacks to level and even more to raise faction from "dubiously" to "indifferent" ... might take several days unless you get help

You can buy shark meat from a vendor in Thurgadin by the stack. He never runs out.

I got around 4gp and a fishing spear for several hours of killing sharks. I can't imagine anybody under level 20 being able to do this quest at all, unless you can get to odus to kill the sand sharks for the meat. The sharks in the OOT have around 400 HP and are way out in the deep water.

If you take the boat over to Freeport East the quest is a lot easier. If you stand on the dock and look out to sea and off to the right, there's an island near the beach. A low level shark (below lvl 10) spawns there and drops the shark meat.

And on the ground next to the shark, spawns Bait Masterson 8am to 8pm,...and at night Giz Dinree takes the watch, a D elf girl with a broken heart, and an attitude problem.
