This quest is for evil aligned casters.
You say, 'Hail, Tilkzog Mournunder' Tilkzog Mournunder says 'Hail Bertoxslaav. I am Tilkzog Mournunder, Necromancer of the Dark Reflection. It is my duty here to assist not only the young necromancers of the Dark Reflection but also those wizards, magicians, and enchanters that have been called into the service of the Plague Bringer. I will aid you in obtaining an outfit of [durable clothing] suitable for a young sorcerer of the Dark Reflection. Once you have been adequately outfitted for venturing beyond our homeland in service of the Plague Bringer return to me and I will assist you in obtaining a [staff of dark reflections].' You say, 'what durable clothing?' Tilkzog Mournunder says 'The sorcerous servants of Bertoxxulous, the Plague Bringer, are privileged with the sight of the Dark Reflection. This gift enlightens us to the powers of disease, decay, death, and destruction. Forces that are misunderstood and feared by the majority of Norrath, including our fellow gnomes of Ak'Anon. These forces are the catalyst of change, cleansing Norrath of the old and weak, and we are the agents of this catalyst. However, before you will be of much use to the Dark Reflection you must gather the [components] necessary for the outfit that will protect and aid you in your duties.' You say, 'what components?' Tilkzog Mournunder says 'You will need this Curing Kit and varying components depending on the piece of clothing you wish to fabricate. Do you desire to craft a [plague sorcerer cap], [plague sorcerer wristband], [plague sorcerer gloves], [plague sorcerer boots], [plague sorcerer sleeves], [plague sorcerer pantaloons], or [plague sorcerer robe]?' You say, 'I desire to craft plague sorcerer boots' Tilkzog Mournunder says 'To craft Plague Sorcerer Boots you require two [silk thread], two ebon drakeling bile, and two large rat pelts. Do any merchants sell the ebon drake bile?

Maybe drop rate has changed. I killed 7 drakelings and got 5 ebon drakeling bile and 2 young ebon drake bile. Everyone that I killed dropped some sort of bile.
I was hunting in that newby valley by the druid ring. Hunted there during the day. I need 2 more drakeling biles and the drake bile for the robe. getting the spiderling silks for the thread and the yellow recluse silks are a much harder problem.
i have done the good casters armour quest for my mage and enchanter. This is much easier so far.

This quest has taken me hours.. I've killed at least 24 drakelings, and have gotten zero bile. I've gotten about 3 scales. This quest leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't have nearly as much trouble with the monk newbie armor quest

That's ok, I spent about eight hours today killing just under a hundred drakelings (only) and got two biles. Sad.

Ditto here. Just wasted 5 hours of my life. Zero bile, from either young drakes or drakelings. Total waste of time.

I would have to agree. The Ak'anon quest drops SUCK. I hunted there for HOURS, and maybe one drop for one piece of the armor. What do they expect? I gave up and went with cloth and will upgrade later - BAH!

Where do I find Tilzog mournunder at in Ak'Aknon
Tilkzog Mournunder is located at: 2067.53, -459.04, -182.06 standing directly opposited Derthix Gibblix a cleric guildmaster.

Ebone Drakelings drop drakeling bile, they usualy can be found in the newbie zone however the bile doesn't drop very often and the drakelings seem to take a long time to spawn

Verant may have increased the drop rate of the Bile. Last night after just starting to gather components I was able to get 3 biles from the drakes in about an hour of collecting. Made the wristbands and a cap so far.

Drake's drop drake bile, but i do not have a clue what drops drakling bile. Help needed please.
After killing approximately 3 dozen of these things, I've only found one ebon drakeling bile.
