Perrir Zexus is located at 407, -788, -52 in Neriak Third Gate. He's the Cleric Guildmaster.

You say, 'Hail, Perrir Zexus'

Perrir Zexus says 'Salutations, ______! Your devotion to our Lord Innoruuk is evident in your actions and on your soul. As a member of the Spires of Innoruuk, you are required to obtain and wear the symbol of your station among the clergy. I can award you the [hematite symbol of Innoruuk] worn by the initiates of the Spires.'

You say, 'What hematite symbol of Innoruuk?'

Perrir Zexus says 'The forest beyond the gates of our grand city has been shaped by the magic of our Lord Innoruuk to be more hospitable to our kind. There are halfling druids in the service of Karana who have set up shrines there in hopes of restoring the forest to its former state. They could never succeed in their task with their feeble powers granted by their insignificant god, yet still, they are a nuisance. Bring me four of the holy symbols worn by the druids and I shall grant you the initiate symbol of Innoruuk.'

He wants Woven Grass Amulets. Upon turn-in:

Perrir Zexus says 'You have done well, young initiate. I grant you this medallion invested with the divine hatred of Innoruuk. Wear it proudly as a representation of your importance to these sacred spires. Now, if you will excuse me, I must proceed with the burning of these pathetic halfling symbols of faith.'

I did this at amiable today. I was apprehensive, did the innoruuk recommendation (which gives 200) , conned at amiable and got the quest, Its poiissble you need more than min amiable - but I went from app to amiable with 200. So the furthest into anmiable I can be is 99 and its much more likely its less.

Actually, I can get dead on to what I was. Troll starts at -200, I am Inny which is +100. I am an SK so that is +50. So I started at -50, got 200 for the recoomendation quests, so I was able to get quest at 150 (which is mid amiable).

Stand around Loc 999, 234 and to the west on top of a tree stump are two Leatherfoot scouts, which are about level 2-3, maybe 4. Fairly easy to pull these guys as a level 4 Cleric. They spawn pretty fast and in time you will get all 4 amulets. Only took me about 15mins self buffed..

Also noted the faction hits were exactly doubled ( eg Primordial Malice -400 ). This is on the new Selo Progression Server.

Some detailed info for those folks needing to get their faction up for this quest.

She is to the west of the entrance from North Ro.

The phrase I used to get the 'note of recommendation' was:
I am devoted to innoruuk

Dark Elf is located at the Grobb Shaman Guild, on the next level up (go right, up stairs, when entering the Guild) her name is "Savarixsa Zexus". Just say "I am devoted to Innoruuk" and she will give you a letter to take to her brother the High Priest Perrir at Neriak.

i rolled an inny worshipping froglok cleric for laughs, and i can confirm that Perrir Zexus will give this quest to evil froglok clerics, after they have done the faction quest from the freeport tunnels. unfortunately, at the present time, there are no more halflings in nektulos forest. they were removed witht the revamp; which means that this quest, and the subsequent disciple and regenyt quests, are effectively broken, at least for the time being. however, i have been told by several people that the halflings will come back after all the DoD launch stuff is over with. only time will tell.

The Halflings are back and this quest can be done by a Inno worshipping Froglok Cleric but the result is not wearable by Frogloks.

I have done both the Initiate and Disciple quests. Neither are Froglok usable.

Strangely, the halfling illusion mask IS Froglok usable.

In order to do these quests (Innitiate, Disciple, Regent of Innoruuk) you amiable faction with Perrir Zexus (he is the Dark Elf Cleric Guildmaster in Neriak 3rd gate). If you happen to be a Troll Shaman (like Oolah, my newest alt) then you are likely to be dubious or worse to this evil sucker. Don't despair, get angry! Seek out Saxariva Zaxun in East Freeport (I used PoK book and tunnels to get there, there are other ways but I think that was the simplest). She wants you to tell her you are devoted to Inny, so do that. Once you do she will give you a note to give to Perrir back in Neriak, a note which will prove your allegience to the god of HATE. Head back to Perrir, give him the note and VIOLA! Your faction should improve substaintially ( Oolah went from dubious to amiable with one note), however...he would not speak to me about the initiate symbol until I repeated this process. After giving him the note the second time he then told me I was "required to obtain and wear the symbol of my station among the clergy." gave me the text to start the first of these quests.

I hope that helps all those wishing to join the ranks of the Hatefull.

Found the collection of Halflings at about pos 950 pos 530 in Nektulos Forest. To my level 7 DE Cleric the Scouts conned green and the Captain and Sergants conned red. With Temperance I could eventually take down any one of these but ... I couldn't get any one of them to pull away from the pack. The Scouts and Sergants heal whoever I fought. They assist each other so I took significant damage. And they run at 20% HP and then come back. I also was rooted and took knock back hits (maybe Whirling Wind spells).

So I came with a level 51 Halfling Druid friend who put up Damage Shields and snared em. They came running and impailed themselves on her. She didn't want to take the faction hits so this was slow going. Got 3 amulets the first try.

Came back with a 42 Shammy and he nuked em all and I waited to loot. Got 7 more amulets.

The turn in of 4 amulets got me almost 1.5 yellow bulbs of XP at level 7. Think I'll destroy the symbol and do this a few more times for the XP.

At level 7 I was turned away by the quest giver for part 2 (Innoruuk Disciple) and told to go fishing or kill beatles or kill rats. Anyone know what level you need to be to start the second part?

Just a note to Troll Shammys like myself who need to do the mail delivering quest to get faction up enough to start these quests: getting to Saxariva Zaxun can be really annoying without Levitate. There's a spot where you need to run around the circumference of a circular room on a tiny walkway and then drop down onto a really small ledge below to continue. First time I tried it (at lvl 13) I fell into the water below and was slaughtered by four 'drowned citizens.' Thankfully I have various high lvl alts, or the corpse run would have been REALLY annoying. With Levitate, of course, the trip is simple.

Faction : Perrir Zexus Would not speak to me, ok thats a lie, he would insult me. We have all established he does not seem to speak to Trolls of Innoruuk. Savarixsa Zexus WAS in Grobb a long time ago, because, you see, this Troll Shammy is a remake of my old troll shammy. I did the quest then... Anyways.

Savarixsa Zexus was found in the freeport tunnels. The same zone PoK takes you to, turn the other way (away from newbie hunting) and head into the evil relms of the human city.

Now the weird thing is I think her name IS changed. Savarixsa Zexus was something like Savarixsa Zexan or some stuff.... maybe she got married? or its a typo? Anyways she WOULD NOT respond to my hails. I thought 'great, the only great faction maker wont speak to me' - I decided to try "yes, I am devoted to Innorruk" and bam, I had a letter. I took the PoK book (it was a bit faster then running) (bound myself there) I went to Neriak, I gave it to him, even though he hated me. I hailed him, and he gave me the, your doing better but still cant be trusted crap. I did the run one more time. and he offered me the quest !!!

A while back a high lvl Ogre was hunting the halflings. He killed a billion of them, he was of high lvl. I sowed him a bit. He let me loot the woven grass (which i was getting anyways) and Master Woopals head.

See my posting on second part.

As a Troll Shaman of Innoruuk I had no problems getting to Saxarivsa Zexus in East Freeport Tunnels, she gave me note to give to Perrir Zexus in Neriak Cleric Guild, who took it and gave me Priest of Innoruuk faction. Took 2 turn-ins of letter to get faction to amiably, at which point he gave me the quest and accepted my Woven Grass Amulets.

Hello

I am a troll shaman, and have the same probelms as several other people here - Perrir Zexus will not talk to me, and he simply eats the wowen grass amulets I give him.

Could I improve my faction with one of the alchemy made Illusion: dark elf potions? And if yes - how much do they normally cost and how long time do they last?

If they work, I would farm a lot of wowen grass amulets, use the potion and drown Perrir Zexus in amulets until he loves me. Just want to be sure it will work before I start hunting harlflings.

Greetings

I have been trying this quest since I was level 5. I am now level 21 and still can't get this guy to be anything but apprehensive to me. He will not talk to me at all. I have given him a total of about 36 woven amulets and he still doesn't give me anything. I have done the Red wine quest and have outer and inner guards almost to the point that they can't get any better. (S.Ro lightstone quest helped.) For some reason this guy just will not talk to my Troll Shammon. I have the hardest time getting faction hits that will help on this. I currently have the four woven amulets, but can't do the quest without faction help. PLEASE offer help for faction with this guy. Can't get anything on this website except how to LOWER faction, which I don't want to do.

I am a High Elf Cleric, and I have managed to raise my Inner and Outer Dreadguard faction to Kindly, and Dark Bargainers to ally, I am now attempting to raise my faction for the Priests of Innoruuk. How can I do so being KOS? I am guessing I need project illusion to get to about dubious and then get invised before hitting trade? I am already working on my Dismal Rage faction so that I can get the note from whatever her name is in Freeport. Don't ask why a High Elf Cleric is trying to raise Neriak factions. It's just something I want to do.

Odds are, you never will be non-KOS to the Priests of Innoruuk. Being a HE Cleric, I'd imagine your diety is probably Erollisi, Mithaniel, or Tunare. Illusion reset factions based on the race you turn into, but they do NOT modify faction standings that are determined by religion. And I just can't see a devoted follower of Inny ever cuddling up with a Tunare-worshipper, for example.

When they made him the god of Hate, they picked a real winner :p

You have to hail Perrir first. If your faction is not high enough, he will not give you the quest. I, a Troll Shaman of Innoruuk, did the letter quest one time, but dispite being amiable, he did not give me the quest. On the second delivery of the letter, the quest went without a hitch.

Go ahead and get a dozen of the amulets if you can. Why? Repeat questing, my friends. Get the Disciple Symbol and then repeat this to get the Initiate back- now you can do TWO mana-free debuffs to your opponents, or cover one or the other that your groupmates don't have if you're in a group :)

Then when you go up to the Regent Symbol, you can replace the Disciple one to keep using Siphon (extra STR for you and less for the MOBs never hurts), and have the last four amulets to get another Initiate symbol if you want it.

Of course, if the criters you're fighting are resisting Weaken or Siphon too much, then you can forget about 'em. But if you would want to have the earlier symbols back, isn't it better to go ahead and gather the parts while you're getting XP from the killing? *shrug* My 2pp worth....

its LORE, you can only have one. The necklaces are also NO DROP... so they would have to be there with you....

I think you misunderstood what I was talking about, Valdon. I meant to collect a dozen of the Woven Grass Amulets, which are only No Drop, not Lore. Then, you can do the Initiate quest, leaving 8 of the WG Amulets in your posession.

Later, you do the Disciple quest, which involves turning in the Initiate symbol along with a couple other things. Hand in another 4 WG Amulets to repeat the Initiate quest and you now have the Disciple AND Initiate symbols, and 4 WG Amulets left.

Then, you eventually complete the Regent symbol quest, which you have to hand over your Disciple symbol to complete. Then go back and repeat the Disciple quest (which again means giving up the Initiate symbol), and then do the hand-in for the Initiate quest one last time.

That leaves you with all three Symbols of Innoruuk, which you can carry to swap out as desired for one debuff or another. Heck, they only total to 0.3 stone anyhow, so why NOT have 'em?

Funny, I just did this quest with my 22 Shammy, and on hindsight, I wish I had done JUST that. :) Its a great idea. I had 2 more on me, but not another 4. But yes, to have each necklace would rock. I am currently on the 3rd part of it.

I imagine the "get a dozen of the amulets" was exaggeration. Probably more referring to collecting as many amulets as you can to have all three necklaces, yourself, at once.

Which is exactly 12, since you'll be doing Initiate 3 times, and it takes 4 amulets.
