Your next task is to assist the construction of a [weapon] and [bow] worthy of being wielded by a Rogue of the House of the Ebon Mask. ' You say, 'what bow?' Selzar L`Crit says 'The Halfling Druids from Rivervale that frequent the ancient druid ruins in the Nektulos Forest are guarded by Leatherfoot Warriors. The peck druids perform the rituals that they hope will prevent Innoruuks corruption from spreading deeper into the Forest and the lands beyond. Should you slay the peck warriors guarding the druids and obtain a Leatherfoot Short Bow, take the bow, a Black Mamba Skin, and a Lock of Zombie Hair to Andara C'Luzz at The Bleek Fletcher in the Neriak Commons near the headquarters of the Indigo Brotherhood. I got my leatherfoot shortbow off a named halfling on the area west and south of the river. There's about 5 named halflings there so be careful if you solo.

Killed a Rotting Citizen, dropped the zombie hair,
No drop item, noone else in the zone so I picked it up.. Now that I know what it's for, I'll probably dest it..

I've killed some 4 million leatherfoots and never seen leatherfoot shortbow, I just bought one at a merchant in Foreign Quater...the zombie hair was hard to find, but I actually found it (big thing for me), and obviously the black mamba skin was a cinch. Not a bad quest, although my fourteen plat bow was better...still, I like the +1 dex...

Now, I may be really dumb here, and the answer may be obvious... but no matter how long or hard I search, I have yet to find a leatherfoot short bow to make this with. If anyone has any iformation regarding the mobs that drop these, I would be forever truly appreciative.

One dropped off of a "named" leatherfoot guard at the Haffer shrine south west of the river. (#4 on the EQ atlas map). They were green to me at 16th level but there are a lot of them and there also pop LeatherFoot Medics which were RED. So not sure if there are other places that they drop. Hope this helps.

rotting citizens are in the ultricle(area near LS zone) and youll find the zombie hair here.

having difficulty finding zombie hair, could someone tell me where they got thier's to drop?

check zombies,rotting citizens and decaying citizens by lavastorm entrance thats where i got mine but recently alot have dropped near wizards spire

Decaying citizens?? I have seen mention of these guys but have not seen a single one of them roaming around the undead area by lavastorm zone. Where are they found? Do they have placeholders? If so, what are the place holders?
