Leraena Shelyrak says 'I am unfamiliar with the markings that adorn these necklaces. You have done well thus far in hindering the kobolds worship of their evil deity. I award you the Initiate Symbol of Quellious. Return to me when you feel you are ready to deal with the [greater kobold shaman].' You say, 'Ggreater kobold shaman?' Leraena Shelyrak says 'Return to the Warrens and obtain eight of the bronze symbols worn by the kobolds greater shaman. Place them in this sack that has been blessed by the powers of Quellious to protect you from the evil influence of the evil symbols. Return the full sack with your initiate symbol of Quellious.' Receive Small Embroidered Sack. In it, combine 8 Odd Bronze Necklaces to produce an Embroidered Bag of Bronze Symbols. Hand in this item and the Initiate Symbol of Quellious. Have finished the Regent Symbol of Quellious quest this week.
Some month ago i had collected the 8 Odd Bone Necklaces in The Warrens dropped by the Lesses Kobold Shaman and turned them into the Initiate Symbol of Quellious.
(i dont explain all what happened, had to collect twice a time these odd bone and odd cold iron...should be some confused..)
I see that a short patch had be done in Erudin, so i went to The Warrens to retry the quest.
I Went in Stonebrunt Mountain, figuring the Greater Kobold Shaman would drop now the Odd Bronze Necklace instead of the usual Odd Cold Iron Necklace. But was disapointed to see nothing had changed (had try the camp just rigth from zone to The Warrens as you went out). So i tried to explore the zone a little and found a camp at -4765 1170 with 5 Kobold, killed for fun a Lesser Kobold Shaman here and.... BINGO !!! a Odd Bronze Necklace ))). As you stand in front of the camp there are 2 kobolds in 2 huts : can be a Ferocius Kobold or a Lesser Kobold Shaman, and 3 Kobolds in free area, the third from left can be a Lesser Kobold Shaman too. So camped there some hours and got my 8 Odd Bronze Necklaces. Put them into the Small Embroisered Sack, hit combine and give the Sack + Initiate Symbol of Quellious to Leranea who gaves me in return the Disciple Symbol of Quellious. (this one is needed to obtain the more powerfull item Regent Symbol of Quellious AC7 WIS+3 CHA+2 MANA+15 effect Calm)
PS=The Lesser Kobold Shaman at this camp drop Odd Cold Iron Necklace too, have looted 1 there.

Greater Shamen are not dropping bronze symbols. At least not on Vazaelle

I decided to check up on some unsolved items, this being one of them. This Odd Bronze Necklace use to drop fluently on high shamans outside the Warrens in SBM, when SBM first came out. We had no idea what they were for then....destroyed.
Like to say this also: "Curse you Tunare"!!! Tunare's disciple is impossible. The cute little Q gives you a easy quest....okay you say the necklaces are not dropping anymore...well that would be a problem.

Of course, the "cute little Q"'s Warden necklance is nowhere near as useful as the Tunare one, so you really have no room to complain. :)

Well quest must be broken only thing Great Koblod shamans drop are the same thing as Shaman Drogik a odd cold iron coin. I have killed a ton of greater kobold Shamans and they have never droped the odd bronze coin. This part of the quest needs to be fixed! =:(

From patch of 19th Mar ,the greater kobolds shamans never drop odd bronz neckless, both Warrens and stonebrunt.They drops kobold shaman pouch and cold Iron neckless.Peace to hundred of kobold shaman's souls died in vain.
I am confident of VI's letting thier drop table something wrond.

I've been hunting Warrens/SB for the last couple of weeks and have NEVER seen an Odd Bronze Necklace...many Cold Irons, but no bronze.

It may very well be broken as of recently, how ever, I have finished all 3 quests (and proudly wore my Regent at level 23. Thank you Level 21 Gnome enchanter, level 22 human monk and level 29 druid frind, who all Happened to be passing by to save my stupid cleric . . . ) The Bronze Necklaces were nearly most common I found, only slightly followed by the High Shaman's cold Iron ones.
