Do you need ally faction with Coldain to do these quests?
I have gloves, sleeves and leggings. I did the gloves and sleeves with warmly faction.

Check out the Velious Armour under Quests on this site. It'll give listings of items and where they drop etc. Eroded leather drops in Kael Drakkel (sp?) is what it said.
