astral jewel; Got this at the small Pond by the Hopper hole in Maidens, Off a Mushroom that in the water. 4 Times.
a mark of hatred; A engraged? zelak droped this in Maidens too 3 days ago.
Though i have these items... this armor is total junk. I can see if they are easy to get how a person would use them... however crusty, Ry'gorr is cheap. There are many good cheap items around for a shadow knight now days.
Granted a iksar might like these.

This is shoulder and not arms. There is no Rygorr for the shoulders that I see listed.
If you compare the Arms to Rygor, the Twilight Arms have better ac, and supplimentary stats.

Well to make your life easier you need to kill Vampires , thats right the ones that start out as your friends your gonna have top kill them so make sure you do the quests your wanting to do with the vampires first or just kill them and go back to killing guards in Katta again to re raise faction with the Vampires
as an iksar shadow knight i am KoS to him along with his female friend on the dock (they are on the docks leading to katta?). how do you gain faction with them or can't you? only solution i can think of to this is get wolf form...
Where does the rockhopper that drops the astra jewel? Also where and what drops the ancient petrified tulip?
Gems are random drops off non named mobs in the zones that have named mobs for these quests. Tulip drops in Twilight Sea off a toughened underbulk.

I found one on a blood starved wolf near Maiden's Eye zone in Dawnshroud. It appears there is no real pattern to what drops what... just kill everything and start auctioning *grin*
BTW if anyone is on Bristlebane server and you have a petrified tulip I would love to buy it from you.

Just FYI
ALL Jewels for the Twilight Sea armor quests randomly drop off all mobs in Dawnshroud (CONFIRMED Rockhoppers, Sambata, Tribesmen, Zelinacks, Stonegrabbers, Mushrooms and Wolves).
Remember that you are competing for these jewels with every other class, as they all need jewels to complete their quests too. This is the only common ground as I see it, but the beauty of the whole thing is that most people think its too hard or not worth it so they will sell their Jewels

So far I get one Jewel per night and random quest pieces for other classes. I use them to trade for the pieces for SK drops. It seems to be working pretty quick for a punk that cant seem to get a group in these zones for enough time to find the mob I need. When you are in one of the five zones that drop for the quest pieces, it also helps to /ooc that you are buying the pieces you are looking for, as, like I mentioned before, lots of people think these quests are worthless (I personally dont).

mark of hatred drops from a named zelniak in dawnshroud peaks. Not sure which havent kept track looted so many from there might have been the dread zelniak

All items dropped off a flowery cheetah in Scarlet Desert various times. Stuff for other classes armor also dropping in SD. Good luck - not worth the pain IMHO.
I looted a Mark of Hatred from a fiery zelniak in Dawnshroud Peaks.
