Drops in dawnshroud peaks, seems to be a random drop off anything 40+
    Gem of Longevity

A friend and I were hunting in the Scarlet Desert last night and came across a Gem of Longevity on an ancient sunflower. The sunflower conned blue to 51 and was relatively easy.

Not sure if that helps or not, but good luck in completing the quest.

The mark of training dropped off a "true darkwing bat" in Tenebrous Mountains. The bat looks like a regular darkwing bat, but seems to be an uncommon spawn. The mark looks like an unstackable rune, and is not no-drop :).

I can confirm this has happened more than once. The Mark of Training dropped for me from the same "true darkwing bat" in Tenebrous Mountains.

With these bats, it seems that once you kill one of the "special" ones, another one spawns shortly thereafter. I went through "greater," "grey, "feral," "true," and gave up on "ancient" without killing it because I would have had to track it through half the zone.
