Elaend Fe`Dhar is located in a room just beyond the maze, immediately to your left once you've ported into the giant staircase section.
You say, 'Hail, Elaend Fe`Dhar' Elaend Fe`Dhar says 'Greetings to you. I seek one who calls himself a wizard. What do you call yourself, manling?' You say, 'I am a wizard' Elaend Fe`Dhar says 'Excellent. Are you sure enough of your skills to undertake my tasks? If not, get out of my sight!' You say, 'My skills are enough to undertake your tasks' Elaend Fe`Dhar says 'I thought so. One should never back down from a challenge. Once you have completed them I will have a cap, a robe, sleeves, wristbands, gloves, leggings and boots.' You say, 'What robe?' Elaend Fe`Dhar says 'This exquisite robe shall be yours in exchange for a tattered silk robe and three pristine emeralds' Gems are dropped off various NPCs in Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, Cobalt Scar and The Wakening Land. Tattered silk armor is dropped randomly in the Halls of Testing inside the Temple of Veeshan. Bring the three gems and armor piece back and in exchange, you'll receive your reward, experience and faction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

HoT in ToV can be done with 2-3 groups...gotta be alot of organization tho... once one person messes up a whole raid can be destroyed here. the silk is fairly rare...but not too rare.... u could probably get a few drops in 1 raid. its better off to not bring anyone under 55 as for casters its hard to land any spells... keep ur sv's high... with buffs u should have 200+ to all sv's
All the Skyshrine quest pieces, as far as I know, only drop in the Halls of Testing in the Temple of Veeshan.
Our guild puts a strict level 54+ 100+ to all resists unbuffed cap on our HoT raids.
The farming/hunting is comprised of lots of level 60 and 65 wurms/drakes/etc, some of whom cast nasty AE spells.
All in all, not something to do with a ragtag group ;) Something a mediocre guild should do with 3-4 groups, a good guild can do it with 2 for a while I imagine.
As far as drops go, they base the odds on the number of classes that can use a piece (plate, chain, leather, silk) not how many people play those classes. So if you have 500 druids and 1 wizard there, that wizzy is gonna be swimming in silk when they drop ;)
Anyway, good luck to all of ya in HoT. This is the only piece left I don't have that I'd want. SS is some really great gear. Reply with "Item X is better" or whatever you want to do, I know there's better out there, but considering the relative ease and the fairly good chance of drops, HoT is a great place for a guild to suit up their members with.

Thanks for the info on the drops and how they are determined. I am in a smaller guild, and only lvl 46 atm, but am working my butt off to get to do HoT. Thankfully, and only thankfully for HoT DROPS, I am the only wizard main in my guild atm, with apx 9 million treehuggers, so I guess I will be encumbered with silk when I get done, lol. Btw- you can never have enough int casters for anything, but you always seem to have too many druids, lol.

dAll the tattered silks for the SS armor drop in ToV testing halls rather rare as all BPs. Pristine Emeralds are found fairly common by killing in the 'siren temple' within SG. Our group aquired 3 within an hour.

Tattered silk is found in Temple of Veeshan (Testing Halls) on random mobs.

Anybody know where to find "Tattered Silk" items? I tried searching under "Tattered", but only found tailored tattered items; which... I dont think are the items needed for this quest.
