You say, 'Hail, Onerind Fe`Dhar' Onerind Fe`Dhar looks around. 'Who dares address me? Oh, it is you. What is it you want? Some armor perhaps? To make a pretty corpse? There is something exquisite about a well-dressed meal. If you are not a shadowknight leave me now or you may end up as my next meal. You say, 'What armor?' Onerind Fe`Dhar laughs deeply, 'You manlings are so transparent. Well, if armor is what you wish, then only the best shall you have for I will not waste my time on less than the best. This is what I will make for you, granted that you can acquire the components for me - a helm, breastplate, armplates, bracers, gauntlets, leggings, and boots.' You say, 'What breastplate?' Onerind Fe`Dhar says 'For the breastplate, I require an unadorned breastplate and three flawless diamonds. Nothing more, nothing less. For perfection, there is a price, insignificant one.' Gems are dropped off various NPCs in Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, Cobalt Scar and The Wakening Land. Unadorned plate armor is dropped randomly in the Halls of Testing inside the Temple of Veeshan. Bring the three gems and armor piece back and in exchange, you'll receive your reward, experience and faction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

What is the drop rate on the Flawless Diamonds?
You wanted factions. I'll save you actually doing a little searching. Thurgadin ==Coldain Kael==Kromrif and Kromzek Both seem to move together although one slower than the other. Skyshrine ToV ===Claws of Veeshan.

All the armor drops are completely random. Any mob can drop any piece. The higher lvl mobs in Kael have a higher drop rate. In the TOV if you hunt in the halls of testing you get armor drops for the skyshrine quests. If you hunt in the regular areas you get armor drops for the Kael quests. A few good raids in Kael will fix your faction in skyshrine. Likewise a few good raids in Skyshrine or ToV will fix your Kael faction. You can get al three kinds of armor if you care nothing about roleplaying and picking a side and just want to slay things. Kill Giants get thurgadin quest armor. Kill in Halls of testing get skyshrine armor and maybe some good quest items from ToV. Then ***** over you allies and slaughter unmercifully in ToV main hall and Skyshrine. The giants in Kael will rapidly come to love you and give you their armor. Drop rate in Kael varies but after my last two arena raids 1 per hour seemed the norm. So if you have 30 people killing and all things came out equal which they don't you can expect 1 piece of armor per 30 hours of killing so 7 pieces times 30 hours times 3 sets===630 hours of slaying till you have all 3 sets. Oh don't forget to add time for collecting quest gems. Course in Kael at least it doesn't always take 30 people and sometimes you get lucky and will get your drops faster. So I think it all works out say 700 hours of killing. Hey thats just under a month if I don't stop to sleep. Now I just need 30 friends 50+ that are willing to do the same. (55+ for ToV from what I hear).

Someone please tell me who drops the unadorned breastplate in the Hall of Testing in ToV. Going to do the quest soon, but need info first...

Ok, main question. What in gods name is Onerind's faction?
I know that if you ***** up your Giant faction your going to have a pretty damn tough time getting any Kael armor. But can you get both the Skyshrine AND Kael?
I know it would be a bit insane to have both, but it would be sweet.
As far as faction goes, I'm kind of confused about the whole thing. Most posts don't give you any information, just repeat what everyone else said.
Can anyone sane please give me some logical advise on Kael and SS faction and if you can obtain both (fat chance but what the hell).

Leizark, hail and well met! I do remember my wife saying something about killin Dwarves and gaining faction with both. Also she said that the Dwarf faction was easy to repair. She is a level 59 Wizard on Povar and she is trying to obtain her Giants Bane and Dragons bane level 60 quest spells. She has the Giant one and when she was trying to find a way to get the other she stumbled on a way to do it without ruining her Dragon Faction. She is not here at the moment so I cant ask specifics but look into Killing some kneewackers. Sounds like fun anyway!

I would prefer a full suit of Blood Lord, AC 206 STR 38 STA 32 AGI 12 DEX 25 and INT 26 (didnt do the saves) Malevolent is AC 235 STR 39 STA 11 AGI 8 Dex 25 INT 32 (didnt do the saves again). Over all, they are pretty close, Blood Lord for HPs, Malevolent for AC and 6 more INT.
Dont forget to compare the saves and HP/Mana bonuses

Yeah I can see myself using invigorate a lot with that noctivigant blade. By the way you can't kill anything near your level with HT, if cons blue HT won't kill it, if your lucky might do 25% damage.

yes, it does in fact seem that we do "take the ********" with this one , but the only real problem I see is with the extra 5 STR pally's get and the proc just blows ours away, oh well

Hey paladins have to have something going for them right? I mean almost all there spells are casted in non-combat. Besides what good is improved lay on hands when its a full heal when not improved lol.
