Qynydd Fe`Dhar is located in a room just beyond the maze, immediately to your left once you've ported into the giant staircase section.
You say, 'Hail, Qynydd Fe`Dhar' Qynydd Fe`Dhar says 'Greetings to you. I seek one who calls himself a druid. What do you call yourself, manling?' You say, 'I am a druid' Qynydd Fe`Dhar says 'Good. I had hoped you were one. As nature's guardian, you fight the never-ending struggle against those who seek to defile it. It is an admirable quality and I wish to aid you. I will provide you with a cap, a tunic, sleeves, bracers, gloves, leggings and boots.' You say, 'What bracers?' Qynydd Fe`Dhar says 'For a bracer I shall require an unadorned leather bracelet as well as three crushed opals. Do this and the reward shall be yours to keep.' Gems are dropped off various NPCs in Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, Cobalt Scar and The Wakening Land. Unadorned leather armor is dropped randomly in the Halls of Testing inside the Temple of Veeshan. Bring the three gems and armor piece back and in exchange, you'll receive your reward, experience and faction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

being as im only a lvl 38 druid i find this armor GREAT...mabye its just cause its better than what i got now....anywho i find having a DoT hat i can cast and dont have to use mana to cast it is very helpful.

Yes DoD is lame, but it stacks with winged death.
Also, having DoD put on a bracer with awesome stats is great, means you can free up your arms for some other item with good stats.

My only thought on the Velious quest armor is they should have put different spells on each of the 3 different quest armors. The reason being that it may influence you chosing one armor over the other.
In this case I like the Woven Grass the best of the 3 because of the stats, mainly the best saves over the other 2. Had the procs on the armor been different between the 3 I might have chosen differently which armor to go for.

Give an unadorned leather bracelet (drops in Temple of Veeshan in the Halls of testing.. east wing) and 3 Crushed opals (random places throughout Velious) give it to Qynydd Fe`Dhar and get bracrer~ Might have to talk to the mob first etc..

Drones is a cute spell if your level 30. Breath of Ro would be better because its another dot spell in a different line and would be stackable with Drifting Death and Wingged Death. :)
May only be a 300dmg or so dot but when u are soloing elysians in UP or something along that line that 300dmg adds up to a few k dmg + it kills the mobs regen so mana dots do full dmg.
I like this dot over breath of ro because Ro doesn't stack with other druids ro due to the resist debuff part but if more then 1 druid are doting they can all have the free mana dot on the mob.

As of late Aug/early Sept 2002 (whenever that patch was) DoD stacks with Drifting Death.

OH god..what is with you..this is a FREE mana spell now who can resist that? True that there are much better and much more stackable spells but if you fancy a group you get to stay fm and you group dosen't know that the spell your useing isnt helping them. =D (dont you love having enoph mana to gate away after the group finds out they infact can not handle the 20 misc mobs that the tank pulled)

This is a really nice item.. Just wish it was Immolate instead of Drones.. both DOT arms cast the same spell so very redundant and unstackable. Even if it had STR of Earth or any spell that wasn't a duplicate would be nice.. But the other stats make it worth having.

My bad.. all three bracers and the vanbracer all have the same spell.. talk about redundancy.. Guess the developer doesnt know any other spell.

obviously because it is a new quest... if anyone has done it they aren't telling yet probably because they like being unique with their armor.
