Plate pieces for this Quest drops in Temple of Veeshan. To my knowledge in West wing and Northwing.. Halls of Testing drop the dragon quest armor.
When you receive a piece of plate from ToV you can bring that and 3 gems(dependant on the item you want) to giants in Kael.. hand in the plate and gems, and you receive the Kael quest armor..
You need Ally with Kromzek to do the quest, Kromrif and Tormax should be dubious atleast to stay safe..
Currently I have the Shining Greaves and won the Shining helm last night.. :)

Anyone found any Ancient Tarnished Armor yet? I know that you can find crushed Coral in Cobalt Scar and Siren's Grotto.

Ancient Tarnished is in Kael, thats why the quest is the Kael armor. It drops off of a giant, deep into Kael as I understand. The giant is a lvl 60 MoB. Any of the gems drop in Cobalt Scar, Siren's Grotto, any zone deep into Velious. No IceClad or Eastern Wastes.

Your smoking crack. The armor isn't in Kael, why would you have to ruin your faction in the same place you have to do the quest in order to get the armor? The armor is dropping in the temple of veeshan, and i heard a rumor in Dragon Necrop some too.

..... i now have a full suit of shining minus the BP the ONLY place the ancient tarnished drops is in temple of veeshan...happy hunting to you all!!
