I saw a creature not listed here in the goblin caves. Standing next to "an iksar slave" was "a crazed iksar slave". I didn't kill it, so I don't know what factions it is on. It was grey to a level 65 and aggrod on me.
Earth Seer Hunknort, Goblin King Dronan, and Whip Cracker Garzul are lined up a short distance from the Temple of Droga entrance. They are green to a level 78, /con as scowling, ready to attack, but do not attack and do not respond to hails.
And I see now that you already have Whip Cracker Garzul listed as being for the Druid 1.5, so I'm guessing the other 2 are related to that event as well.
I was goin to the Temple of Droga to check and see if my bloated spider was up, Zone into Frontier Mountains, Hit Track and all over the zone are fricken Goblin Seekers. I kill a few, some green, some light blue, and even dark blue. Not too hard, but interesting, i hit track again and see a Goblin Hider. I run after him, and suddenly track shifts. He is behind me a LONG ways. I do this 4 or 5 times and then decide to wait a bit and Pop, he's not too far from me this time. I run over, hit him, drag him to zone line just in case he summons and start killin him. In the middle of the fight, one of the Goblin Seekers wanders by and adds. I kill the add and start again on the Hider. At 20% he turns to run but i already snared him. got him to 16 and he, well didn't gate cause his HP stayed the same, but kinda like what he was doin before, phasing from one place to the other. Ran after him, and got close on track when Lord or King Drogan shouts through the zone, I'm tired of this Game. The Hider despawned and then the Seekers start runnin around. I follow then and they all go to the Temple of Drogan and despawn.
I have to say, i was very disappointed.
So till the next play time, i'll be poppin in to play a little Hide and Seek hopefully
This occured on 23 Apr at about 3pm MST

Monarchy this is the goblin Hide and Seek event for the druid epic 1.5.
The druid has to find the correct hider and kill him for his drop before the King tires of the game. It was a pain, but I actually enjoyed this, its something very different to the normal style of event or quest.
Anyone seen the Goblin Two-Handed Sword? I've researched Allas and Googled quite a bit, far as I can tell it's been a no-show since the coding of the Fine Antique series of quests.
Just wondering if anyone had run across it as, well, fool that I am, I'm looking for it for a baby ranger.
Thanks!

Alright today i was on my way to droga temple and I SAW THE KING OUTSIDE! with two henchmen guards i was gonna try single pulling Goblin King Dronan but before i could get my 54pet up to pull him he yelled "King Dronan is tired of this! Contest Over! then him and his goons that all conned dark blue went back to the temple . anyone have anymore info on this sounds interesting ps-his two guards looked like they where named mobs to -oops guess its part of a epic thing my apologies for not reading first stoner moment- Ravey68Necro Luclin
Goblin Hider?? ive been hunting this zone since i actually got exp here haha, but these are new to my knowledge and dark blue to 65, dropped 12 plat, seems they travel in packs, hit for 100-200 ish. anyone else have info on them?
The Goblin Hiders are a spawned mob for the new Druid Epic. They and the Seekers are spawned when a druid in (Goblin disguise) say's in Goblin; between the hours of 7pm and 7am game time; Start the Contest at the entrance to Droga. This causes the KING to come out and "start the contest". The seekers run in Packs and if you do come across a hider and root it , it is not the true hider, try to kill it and multiple of either seekers or hiders will pop and well kill ya' yep even at 65 if your not ready for that. The quest entails you find the CORRECT HIDER - this is the Hider that can NOT be Snared or Rooted. Kill it and you will loot A Bag of Diseased Maiden's Hair (no drop/lore I think ). IT's only good for the Druid epic quest though I think. Any way hope that helps you on just what they are for etc.

Same here. Almost 100 "Goblin Seeker" spawned and radiated out in packs, but only a single "Goblin Hider" was in the entire zone. He teleported 4 times before we got him, but he started roughly between the giant fort and LOIO, and we nabbed him on the zone line between LOIO and DL. He was rootable, snarable, and dropped the Bag of Diseased Maiden's Hair.
Several reports of the event being previously broken, but the event we got today made sense (only a single Hider that was popping around and difficult to find). We had several trackers and could triangulate his position relatively well, and am 100% certain there was only one in the zone.
BTW, when the instructions tell you to say "start the contest" at the entrance to Droga, what you actually have to do is say the phrase *to a goblin* (we said it to the whipcracker that seems to always be in the tunnel). You gotta be within it's hearing range. Even if he aggros you, you can still say the phrase to him and he'll start the contest. We made the mistake of clearing the goblins first because they aggroed the druid, which left no goblins around to hear the phrase and start the contest.
new mob to zone found at the cave entrence to burning woods. cons indifferent and won't respond to me light blue to a 69 ( wood elf druid) thinking it is part of an epic 2 or tasks.
Today I tracked A Loyal Follower (Sarnak) to +1030, +435,+63 in Frontier Mountains. He conned indifferent and green to 65. I hailed him and didn't get any response. So I killed him, hehe. He has about 2000 hitpoints and max hit me for 58 points and didn't try to cast. (there were only 3 hits though).

It looks like an emblem. I will update if I learn anything further on it and would appreciate any input on what it is for.

Does anyone know of a Sarnak messenger, or a goblin messenger that was recently added to this zone. There is a new quest in Cabilis for warriors that involves getting 4 An unfinished notes. we were able to find the one in OT no problem, but cant figure out how/where to spawn the WW, FM and LOIO messenger. if anyone has seen or killed this mob recently pls post the info. thanks
I found this mob called Finrin Talister in FM who will respond to my questions for a while but after a while he gets to a part where he leaves you hanging about lesser gods and the ruins he is standing in... if anyone could get him to go further plz tell me i'd like to know what he says
He says there is ancient magic in the ruins allowing souls to be bound there. Apparently it's just to let you know you can bind there; it's not too far from Nurga and the goblin caves where the old Nurga/Droga named went to; so it's pretty sweet for Di'Zok faction farmers if you have a Worker Sledgemallet.

Posted:Feb 19 2003 at 1:56 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) found a really nice earring today on a Kobold Prosbektor (German name dont know the english one) dropt a AC12 Str12 Sta12 Wis12 Int12 75hp 75mana +7 all resists and all/all
I (lvl 40 Warrior) grouped with a lvl 27 cleric, he got insane exp, because I could kill them twice as fast as a lvl 30 group, and I got all the nice loot including a Forest Loop. Sold it to merchant for 200 pp instead of bother to try to sell it to a PC. Would be fun to raid it someday because they pop fast.
hehe you should notice he said he was an OGRE warrior too. I have some pretty nice charisma gear but still doesn't bring up very high. I think I'll give these guys a try too.
killed a Mangy Brute on my way back from KC today - was green to me at 51 - and easy 1 shot kill. Dropped a HQ Brute hide and Some No Drop Bones - any info on what these might be for?

Could someone tell me the lowest lvl, a druid with good wisdom could solo the cycle in FM. I've done it before with my guild, but am just curious about what lvls ppl have done it at.
not sure about the lowest level you can do it, but I've had a druid hunt inside the fort in back at level 34 with no problems doing fairly constant singles with or without KEI and a wis around 170 Just levitate and drop over back wall, pull single with snair root, dot dot and take your time
Just a question, but is this place better than Crystal Caverns? Is the loot better? Is the EXP better? Is it easier to get a group? Is it better in the long run being a druid wood elf? Does being a Wood Elf matter by selling or should i just port to the bank always? Where is the easiest bind point in FM and in CC? Can u sow in FM? Can you get to a bank easily by running? Is it very crowded? What is the average lvl here? If it is better than CC then when should i come to Kunark? Is there an easy way to run to a near zone? Does this zone have a lot of trains? Gelu Dragonquest(Divine Symphony) 29 Druid Terris-Thule Tunare
Just a question? looks like about 14 to me... but FM is very different from CC, I suggest you get a group and explore them on your own, thats half the fun of the game. CC is a bring-your-own-group dungeon, and FM is a wide open area with one major Giant Camp that is good exp from 25-30, you can usually get a group there.

Really, Druids suck eh? What do you play a beastmaster!!?? LOL! Druids are the one of the big money makers of the game and are key to several peoples transport to wherever they need to go. They are a key and very important part of the game. I don't personally play one, but I at least take care of them. Besides I would rather have a druid in my group then some of the other classes.
I haven't been to CC yet. But I have to say that I really like FM. I played there with my ranger from 32 to 34 i guess, I got there a little late so going to FM at 29 should be just perfect. Just bind at the zone into FM from LOIO, its usually very safe. Its a pretty quick run to the LOIO zone especially with sow, so if things get rough, theres no reason for any in your group to die as long as you keep em sowed. Loot is pretty good, the chance (very small) of a forest loop dropping, and a lot of drops that sell to vendors for 40pp and up. Fm is very fun, and in a few lvls its a short trip to the overthere, where a healer/buffer is always needed. Have fun.

What level do you have to be to hunt here? Most usually go to the Giant Fortress and work there for a while...usually around level 28. But I don't understand something. If the giant fort is straight from the zone line, why do so many people veer to the right straight into the burnais? Just a question.
Alhannah 30th Season Paladin
O...P.S. Beware the giant trains...they can be very nasty and hit pretty hard. And most likely a gobo or burnai comes by the fort and will attack you from behind as you battle the giants...just a word of advice :)

Most people are at level 30 (give or take a few levels) to kill giants, the preferred camp of the zone because loot is awesome and there's more than enough spawns to go around, but the exp isn't so hot, so kill here only if you're looking for phat lewt (like me: just got my first decent loot, a forest loop, yesterday. Go me /cheer). Exp is slow but reliable if you have a decent group.
My character is currently in Antonica, but I would like to hunt here in a couple levels. Porting to the Dreadlands doesnt sound like much fun. Is there a safe way to get to this zone at level 29/30? Where do the Kunark spires take you?
I had never heard of the dreadlands when I first ported there. As I traveled through I had track on, and every single mob on track was red. I was level 27 at the time...Yikes! But oddly enough, I wasn't attacked by anything. I had sow on the whole time and I also had camo on here and there.
This sucker is tough. I saw him on track as I was passing through (blue to 60) and thought I would give him a try... heh... First off, he cant be rooted or snared (Immune to changes in run speed message) so I tried to kite him... got my DoT's off on him then started nuking with Wildfire (1024) I landed 3 on him before he started summoning me and they took him to about 60% with the dot's then I couldn't outrun him anymore cause he kept summoning me so I gated.
Tough lil bastage, I have heard too that he is for BL epic.
Thuuga killed a druid friend of our guild in FM, then killed a group of our guild members trying to extract revenge before I got there. Once I got there we assembled the following group.
51 Bard 50 Druid 45 Monk -Me 42 Shaman 44 Shaman
I was only tank. He hit me for max 220, was slowed and debuffed. He DOES summon casters, so beware. He summoned the druid twice and almost killed him. In the end we got him without much of a problem. Dropped the changeling essence, a rune and some coin. We've heard that the essence is possibly for a new iksar shaman cudgel quest, but haven't confirmed. Have a good day.
This human skeleton is used for the Druid Epic quest. You give a Rose of Firiona, which is foraged in Firiona Vie, to Merdan in Surefall Glade, you ll receive an Old Wooden painting that you must give to this human skeleton so you ll receive the Silver Chained Locket that you must give to Niera Farbreeze to finally get the Speckled Powder which is a part used to create the Runed Bowl.
How would a group of 30 Paladin, 25 Shaman and 25 Wizard go pulling near to zone? Would the major issue be the ability to take the damage moreso than dish it out?
Ran into a Goblin named Thuuga Dengible on the mountains south of the giant fort. (loc -1962, -2354) He conned blue at lvl 52. We thru together a party which consisted of;
52 brd Azzdaem - conned blue 41 war Jbone - conned red 51 pal Rangaard - conned blue 45 sk Gimloaok - conned red 41 pal Caananite - conned blue
It hit for 125 to 225 a whack, figure its @ lvl 49. And took it down with heavy loses (due to three adds). I do not recommend fighting it on the mountain. It dropped;
This gobbie is lvl 50, conned blue to my 51 ranger and yellow to our 49 cleric. And yes he summons for a nice surprise :) Also dropped the 'changeling essence', lore no drop.
My most recent trip through FM I can across A gblin who was blue to my ranger friend at 51. He was a named so we thought we would take him out. well he kicked our butts and summoned both of us and hit for 250+ anyone ever seen him before? I forget his name but it is not on the list and one more thing if he was blue to a lvl 51 ranger how could he summon????????
all i happend to ask is what is the name of the npc at the bind spot i no theres one there i have seen him with these two eys so i know pls some one tell me
I was in FM yesterday and saw "a Sarnak Spy" on track. It conned red to me at 36 and blue to my 43 Shaman companion. He was hiding behind a rock near the Temple of Droga and was rather hard to see. We took him out, but he had no loot or money which surprised us. Maybe he is for a quest...
The Sarnak spy is for the second Chardok ring quest. The spy is on Brood of DiZok faction, so if you are non-kos to the sarnaks inside Chardok, then this one is non-kos also.
edit added: a sarnak spy looks upon you warmly -- it appears to be quite formidable.
Hand him your note from the Goblin Traitor: a sarnak spy reads the note slowly, turning it around in his claws a few times before completing it. ''I see you spoke with that half-wit goblin! I hate hate hate it when he sends me a note, his penmanship is almost illegible. I hope he informed you of the situation, he's really not the most dependable agent of Di'zok, and sadly his note doesn't really make much sense. No matter though, are you ready to [proceed] in this mission?''
You say, 'I am ready to proceed'
a sarnak spy says 'Good, here then is what you must do. It's pretty simple actually and even one such as you should have no troubles. Skargus has been trading in slaves with the Iksar. He has a courier there visits the outskirts of Cabilis and sends weekly reports back to Droga. If we could get that report, Skargus would be finished. Will you go to Cabilis and [get the report]?
You say, 'I will get the report'
a sarnak spy scowls at you, clearly unimpressed by your efforts.''Of course you'll go get the report fool, but do you think that the courier will just give it to you?'' The sarnak shakes his head sadly. ''Okay, look. Go into Droga and try to get a warlord's insignia off one of the goblins in there. Take this forged note to the courier I've written out, along with the insignia to Warslik's woods and give it to the courier. With luck, he'll believe you work for Skargus and give you the report. If you get the report, find Gragbar in Droga and give it to him .''
edit. added: Take the forged report to the shady goblin in WW. The shady goblin despawns after handing in the note.
