I am doing an urgent scavenger hunt. It calls for "A Collector's Kerran Doll", otherwhere on Allakhazam, I dicovered that this item is dropped by a "Kerran Villager" here on Kerran Isle. But I have searched for a while all around the island, but i haven't called anything called a "Kerran Villager". Hmmm... do they even exsist or does something else drop the doll? Please respond ASAP!

Actually, I just got it-- so if it helps you: there are no such things as "villagers", the doll is dropped by pretty much any kerran in the zone. Wahoo! Good Luck to you all!

Anybody seen Marl Kastane for SK epic 1.0 anywhere? I have been lookin for him for 3weeks to do Blood turn in.

Same race. The Kerrans of EQ2 have absorbed the few Vah Shir that were stranded on Norrath when Luclin exploded, which could explain part of why the Kerrans are built sturdier than the Kerra.

I know the SK epic is outdated, but am in the process of going for it. I've been in Kerra Isle for a couple of days now and Marl Kastane isn't spawning at his usual spot. Does he still spawn at the same point or has VI moved him to another?

Other people get so fed up with this stupid game. I go into Keera Isle to do the SK Epic quest and 3 dumbasses deceide their gonna kill Marl Kastane for EXP. I tell them he's for SK epic but they don't give a flying fuq and kill him anyway. SK Epic is hard enough without having to worry about people killing mobs that are not suppose to be killed.

He's apprehensive to my wood elf druid who is indifferent to the rest of the cats. He just says "Begone, you do not have the will to the things I require", so I guess he's for a higher (>31) level quest.
He's part of the SK Epic and is on True Spirit faction.
Do the Val Shar start off with a huge positive faction here (long lost rulers returning), or possibly a negative one (long lost rulers returning)?

Ran into some erudite prisoner was either a necro or SK cuz he tried to fear me (or was it a she) died with one lvl 60 nuke and dropped some no drop idol.. weird thing is "your faction standing with Bertoxxulos got worse" wtf? there is a bertox faction?
I believe that each god has their own faction, in addition to that of their followers. There's a Barbarian fisherman in N Ro that gives a negative hit to "Karana" when you kill him, for example. Not "Karanas" or "KaranaResidents" or any other faction with a similar name - but "Karana".
I don't think that your standing with gods' factions is important unless you visit their Plane, and of course until Planes of Power, Bertoxxulos and Karana don't have any.

afaik it doesn't drop in here, kill the wharf rats in the buidling near the boat docks, there is an NPC inside you give them too, and he gives you a fishbone necklace

(weighs .2) the kitty can double hit, has a long arm reach, and can strike up to 40 that i saw. just fyi.

I am kos to these sweet kitties and I haven't a clue why. I'm an Erudite mage who has never attacked any of them, but for some reason they scream bloody murder whenever I approach. Last time I got caught with my pants down aka lost invis at a not so good time, I got attacked by three and a gorilla, I managed to gate with only half a bub of life left and that was at lvl 38. The thing I don't get is, I am listed as an ally with the cats on the island in Erud's Crossing. How is it that I am ally with them and a completely different faction with the other ones. Is there any way of raising faction with the ones on the island? I want to do the bone tailisman quest and give it to my druid.

The Erudrites Forced them to Island so they hate them and they really hate the necro and sk's cuase they Started the battle that cause the hole to be made and sent some kerran (now Vah Shir) to the moon
Faction isn't screwy at all. The Kerrans on the island in Erud's Crossing are on Prexus faction (same as one of the Paladin/Cleric guilds in Erudin) and are opposed to the ones on Kerra Island.
The Kerrans here hate you simply because you are an Erudite. It's something storyline related, but I don't remember the details.

In the inner village there is also at least one of "a kerran sha`rr apprentice". I never saw it, but I could hear it "begin to cast a spell".

Okay...so theres a 20% exp bonus in here...why? so you can kill cats? are the cats here allied with the mobs like fish and stuff i dont want to ^%&% with the kitties, just gain exp in here! is this place good say, 14-20? or do i lose faction for killing the mobs?

I think it's a great place for 14-20 if you don't kill the kitties. No one is ever there and there are 3 wharf rats that give good exp. One of them drops a tooth that can be turned in for a quest. The fish can also be hunted in these levels and there is a quest associated with them.
Turning in the rat tooth raises faction with the kitties. They have merchants you can buy and sell to. No loot but great exp.

The only bad faction is with the cats themeselves. with a good group all about 20 you can work the sujah leader room although breaking in can be quite tough.... mez is really good for this zone. For somewhat lower lvls say 14-18 working the pathways are very beneficail. Good exp and the weapons the kera drop go for a couple plat i think.... they carry alot of fish and milk too free food;)

Well I'm a human druid and I wasn't KOS there, I started indifferent until I started killing them off. I've killed about 30 of em and I'm now threateningly but not KOS.

I was getting my Kerran Toy on my lvl 20 Druid (Nilit's Contraption was a yellow con, but went down easy), and decided to explore the Isle a bit more, since they scowl at my Necro. Found a great little quest killing wharf rat (1/2 a blue), and turning his tooth in (1/2 a blue + Fishbone Necklace + faction). Then I read about the Kerran Fishingpole....my Rogue would LOVE that >:)
Killed the Spikefish 12 times, and no Razortooth... what gives? Is he THAT rare? I hunted those stupid fish for 12 hours. They ARE a PH for Razortooth, right?! Or is he triggered? I hailed the Kerran on the boat twice...
Any info on this spawn would be MUCH appreciated, and if you play on Druzzil, a reward is offered.

I killed all the Spikefish until Razortooth spawned. Took me about an hour. There is also a venomous spikefish which drops a venomous spikefish gland, but I have no idea what the gland is for(quest? shaman potion component? rogue poison component?)

Yes I just found it go to erudin and on top floor of inn there is a guy named collier it is one of the items for a quest he sends you on.

Me and my brother, both lvl 12 attacked the kitty that stands there dumb right by the docks, and it was green... the rest agroed on us, even the reds, and we dispatched them, even though my brother died... I am AMAZED we made it, but I don't see how so many reds could not handle us.. This is not a make believe story, so I think these things over con, any thoughts on this?

The Kerrans are a 'good' race. They will KOS any evil race or class. They also have a 'history' with the Erudites. Apparently the Kerrans used to be civilised and advanced until the Erudites destroyed their civilisation. Understandably then Erudites aren't too popular there either.

I have a lvl 21 necromancer, and if it helps you any. I died in less then 3 seconds although everything in the zone is blue or under :) so you probably wont be able to do it alone. Also if you are kos it doesnt matter how green they are to you i found out that even the lvl 1 kitties try to spank my arse

Read about a lvl 45 character who tried to kill one little greeny for some loot and was swamped by all the other even littler greenies. Its all for one and one for all with the kitties it seems.
Once I tried to kill Jo Jo with a level 36 war... hehe. I got shredded by high greens, and a couple low blues, since they proc clockwork poison like crazy (kinda fun trying to zone when you're rooted and spinning...er, wait, no...) If you're careful, though, you can break your way in without too much trouble. Nice to have harmo or mez, though. And no, the low (non-exp) greens don't agro (unless you're sitting, or under a half bub of health, same as everywhere).

I saw this same guy last night. He is in a small hut near the single gorilla hut on the same side of the clearing as the temple. He conned red and dubious to a 49 Erudite Enchanter. He is likely a human shadowknight by the way, as he was wearing leather, a banded type helmet and had a small dark red necro pet, much smaller than the 49 necro pet.
Did not get near or Hail him as I did not wish to die just screwing around in this place. Needless to say, I was shocked when I saw him and his red con. Be wary fighting in this area, he may potentially aggro and I would surmise the death would be quick and painful for most.

When killing the Erudite Emissaries, you get the faction message that "Your faction with Kerra has increased" or something like that. The thing is, it just says "Kerra" When you kill a Kerran, it says Faction With "Kerra Island." Dont know if this makes a difference or not....
