New epic mob?

Ancient Megalodon was added to the lake after the OOW expansion. He is for the Shaman epic 1.5. For information visit The Shaman Crucible.

What is she for? She has been here a long time.
I am surprised she isn't listed.

She tells a short tale of some powerful yet gentle man that held a sword of immense power...then something terrible happened.

She lightly brushes her had across your cheek and says...Death.

Guja Master Therik is part of the Froglok Warrior quest. My lvl33 froggy is well into this quest. I'll post the walkthrough once i'm finished. Hint: As part of your underwater training, he'll spawn "The Lake Lurker". I'm pretty sure i'm the first to see this hammerhead shark on Erollisi. Easy soloable at 33 BUT must be soloed! I had help the first time and he POOFED! Lost all my turn-in items and had to start over!!!! I've sent a pic of the Lake Lurker to the site, hopefully they'll post!

This nasty new mob killed me and my pet today. (41 Shaman)
Dark Blue to me!
Was located at Haunted Stone Ring (24) on EQatlas.
Hit me for a high of around 62.
Problem was that he summoned about 6 or 8 "a minions of Ytyres" After I started attacking him.
They are undead but can't see me with normal Invis.
Ytyres is invisible even with Spirit Sight.
Had a Mace and a Spear when I tried him... =(
Sending a pick of him and his minions... Anyone know what he is for?

WHAT DROPS THE SKULL OF JEHNTRA?

I keep reading alot about DRU or BRD Epic mobs here ... but I don't see the 3 Necro Epic Mobs that are a Triggered Spawn.

Tormented Spirite

Does anyone have any info on these mobs?
Are they: Caster's / Pure Melee / Priest class
Can they: Summon / Stun / Gate
How many Hps do they have an what RESIST do they have ?
If anyone has completed this part of Necro Epic, or helped a Necro with this part of His / Her Epic
could you please post some info here. This is the next step in my Epic an I'm just lookn for as much info as I can get. Thnxs

there are a lot of higher level mobs here my cleric freind and i (warrior) are 15ish and i was wondering if we would have been constantly ambushed by higer level creatures if we hunted here. could you send me an email with tips on hunting here or a diffrent place to chose as a hunting grounds.ty.

Ok here is the deal. Go to the tunnle under the water. Best way there is from RM. Go dtright and you will run right into it. Kill the top DW goblins. The spawn time is 5min a pop. We killed the group and on the 5th time the tainted popped. OK here is the bad news. The pop for the currupt after the tainted is random. Killed 5 tainted and no currupt. We did end up getting the Lord. His spawn time is 28min. You will need a melee to help. The hit hard a fast with spells and can kill you easy even when they are green. Good luck and don't foeget your fish scales.

Where is the goblin for the Druid epic. Went in tunnle and found a cleric there killing goblins for here epic. She had not seen any corrupt gblin. Any info would be great.

Went over to the ogre camp to see how they felt about my troll SK - they were all indifferent and one of them sells basic supplies -rations, bandaids, milk, etc. The interesting thing is that there are a bunch of beastlord ogres standing around and one of them named DERG when you hail him tells you that he dove off the aviak stairs for his yearly bath and saw something red at the bottom of the water but couldn't get it. I swam back to the area and sure enough at the bottom of the lake by the diving board there was a small bag - picked it up and when I examined it it was a "Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt" - lore, magical, no-drop. I gave it to Derg but he just gave me the "uhm, thanks" message.

i was foolin around doing nothing and all over sudden i walk behind a cliff and see someone named "Ankhefenmut" she had a chanter pet and looked like the cross between a griffin and a sphinx but conned indiff /curious

I've quit EQ three times but when I used to hunt in lake rathe almost 2 years ago with my first char I heard many strange tales of a high lvl mob lurking in lake rathe. After hunting there for over a month I targeted something called "A Kraken" while swimming between Rathe Mountains and Karana. I didn't dare try to look cuz I was too busy fleeing errrr... "swimming" hard and fast the other way. I know you can say this is another fake story but I really did target this mob. Although for all I know it could have been a GM event.

I was soloing the 3 spawn island with my L 21 Druid and instead of the usual Aviak Guard popped a little Spiroc Hatchling. It was red to me but I thought WTH go for it. So I buffed up, harmonied the 3, medded full, thorned, medded again, and dotted the little bugger. I then went off to the side and went to treeform. The SH Hit for very small damage but my DS didn't seem to do any damage, although I got the damage message but no number was given. He then proceeded to dispell most of my spells except treeform and he cast a DS on himself. So I quit meleeing him as the little damage I do is negligable anyway. I just kept dotting him and he healed himself a few times while my snares were reisted 3 times so I quit wasting mana. I healed myself once or twice and kept dotting him. Finally he turned to run but it was to late. He died and dropped 10p8g. a Polished Bone Bracelet, and a FS Grt Staff. Funny thing though I got no exp.

where the hell is rykas? u dotn have him as 1 of the guys in rathetear and hes only a huge part of it, mage epic ppl. illia need to update her stuff i been finding that hes missing atleast 1 or 2 npcs from every epic quest!!!!!

I zoned into Lake Rathetear from Rathe Mountains recently, and I found an NPC ogre and his pet at the zone line. His name was Derg (Dreg?). He was indifferent to me. Who is he? Is he one of the ogres who will crush, powder, etc., your Dufrenite?

Anyone know who she is? She's at least 51+ cause she summoned me. I'm a 54 DE Necro and she was at the entrance to the arena. I rooted her and then laid darkness, splurt, and EB on her. After root came off she hit me for over 150 a couple of times. Another root and some defluxs and I look at her health and it had barely moved. So I ran to the zone...which is close. She summoned me once. Lifetaped her and zoned out. BTW, before I attacked her she was indifferent to me and tapped her foot when I conned her.

At around loc p960 n661 there is a yellow robe clad gnome named Rykas. Ater hailing him and stating the bracketed quest text (it may not even be bracketed, i don't remember)he talks about a Jahsohn Ak'sot "in the commonlands." Things that were mentioned are the Words of Master, Power of the Elements and as a final reward, Words of Magi'kot.

I didn't see him listed in the monster entries, so i thought i would post what i know. anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and by the way, he gives you a token to give to Jahsohn Ak'sot.

I've never heard of a Kraken, but I have heard several stories from reputable sources, that there is an ultra-rare spawn called Leviathan and he is reported to be enormous. I have never seen this creature, but I trust the source one hundred percent. If you have ever heard of this creature, or know anything about it, please reply.

Forget South Ro, Oasis, or even LOIO. This is the place to be when you hit 16. Hunt the aviaks for decent loot and the best xp to be had in the game at this level. If the spawns are camped, which they rarely all are. If you can get enduring breath cast on you and hunt the freshwater sharks. Great xp as well. Be careful around the gnolls. Best to be in a large group. if you are after the embalmer, hit him hard and fast or the shaman will KS you. If you are a good race you can sell at the gypsies or the orgres, if you are evil only the ogres will sell to you. Oh yeah, dont forget to bring your fishing pole and bait!
