a rodent, and all that start with Guard or Dragoon are Attackable, as well as: Draxiz N`Ryt Firon Dernkal Fleshweaver T`soma Klan K`Jartan Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen Razran F`Lok Vorshar the Despised
Found this for someone today... Firon Dirnkal spawns in Neriak Commons at loc -85, -1109, in the Warrior guild. Hail him and he will say: Well met <your name>. What exactly is it I can do for you? You must excuse me if there are no pressing matters, I have a very important [lieutenant] to track down. He has been missing for quite some time now.
You say, 'Who is your lieutenant?'
Firon Dirknal says 'Ah yes of course the one I speak of is none other than Gared Yalronsan, he is one of the finest warriors to ever serve the brotherhood. He was recently promoted to official courier of the brotherhood. He has most recently been tasked with the responsibility to take documents to and from Mistmoore. Most notably our battle strategies which are very dangerous if they end up in the wrong hands. I do not know what has become of him and I have grown worried. Would you be [willing to help me locate Gerod]?'
You say, 'I am willing to help you locate Gerod.'
Firon Dirnkal says, 'Very well then. Allow me to gather my thoughts about what he was to pick up and drop off on this trip. Ah, yes of course, he was to report to Eriod Haerod with our latest plans for the attack on Kelethin with the help of Clan Crushbone. If you wished to find his whereabouts visiting her would probably be a good place to start. Bring this symbol, so that she will know we have sent you.'
He hands you Symbol of the Brotherhood.
I haven't done the quest after this part, but someone handed him 4 medallions he found in Dulak -- a bronze, a silver, a gold, and a platinum... And received a Charm of the Brotherhood.
Charm of the Brotherhood: Magic Item - Lore Item - No Drop Slot: Charm AC: 0 Required level of 15. ... Improves when you are grouped with others of the same class or race.
Ran into a new mob today. Exterminator Damasi in neriak commons. Well I was pulling guards and he decided to come along. Well to make a long story short. We killed him. Had to out of principle.
So the low down.
Exterminator Damasi lvl cons even to 61. has around 1,800,000 hp's. (no joke took 4 hours to kill) Hits for roughly 6 pts of damage. Doubles for 12. (not k not hundred just 6 damage) Enrages around 10% hp. When he hits you he drains your mana. Has same faction hits as guards. Good exp, no loot. Does not flee
I saw a new npc in the commons near the Priest of Discord today named Fleshweaver T'Rx(sp?). I hailed him out of curiousity, and he says "So you're the one sent to assist me blahblahblah..." and gives me a small bag and asks me to bring him 3 pieces of flesh from something called a Luggald(sp?). Is this a new quest added with LoY? Any info on this quest would be appreciated.
Luggalds are the fishy people in LoY, I camped them for 4 hours to get thier flesh but was collecting the wrong pieces! Luggalds with the "luggalds flesh" drop in Dulaks Harbor in the hidden luggald shrine. Luggalds in Gunthak drop luggald parts which is the wrong stuff for this quest. I assume that the reward is some sort of charm.
I have heard that in the troll side of Neriak commons there is a 3 spawn there that can be killed for awsume exp and sorta good loot--Don't know if any high lvl people have done this but I have heard that you can lvl from 55 to 60 solo in this zone. If anyone knows what the name of the mobs are couild you post plz thanks?
There is some vamp who is a 10hr. spawn in the toadstool, or so I am told. I have sat there for ten hours, and no vamp. He is suppossedly part of a SK quest, can anyone comfirm the existance of this mosquito? Akhenshar 24 lvl SK
There is a new NPC in Neriak commons by the waterfall with the false back and theprist of discord on mithanial marr. Didn't catch the name but he wont say anything to hail and jus tstands there so far. He stands right at the water fall, can someone check this out and see if he says anything?
Looks like he was just added in after last nights server downage and update.
This is one of the many people from the Realm of Heroes. There is one for every race I believe, or class if your race isn't represented. When a GM event occurs (I know, once every milleniuum) sometimes, notable people who truly role-play and get into the adventure of the event are given a coin. If you hand in the coin to this character, you receive a NO DROP item from a special loot table. Sometimes, some of the most AMAZING stuff can be given... and sometimes you can get a +3 CHA necklace that can't be worn by ENC or BRD, hehe... It's easier for the GM's to hand out awards this way, although sometimes, notable characters in very big GM events may be personally given items...

draxiz can be found in the wizzy guild, you go inside and see all the casters (its a caster guild) as you come in you see a set of stairs go up, he is on the balcony. The guy you are looking for at the totem is Master Whoopal, and his PH is Quester Dunden ... as you come from the zone of EC follow the wall to your left and keep going, you need to follow wall past the orc camp , this guy is situated right beside the lake there may be up to 10 mobs all under lvl 15 I think, a lvl 22 can single pull these., but stay out of the center as the quester may agro, Be careful as I did something stupid when I got the head of master whoopal, when I turned it in I failed to note that it only had one charge as a mask, the quest may be done w/o halfling head, the guy that you need in WC for the second necklace quest may be quested using wolf form, so master whoopal is just an addition for those ppl who cant find ppl to wolf them. you will save a couple of trips by just getting in wolf form and it will not be as long and drawn out anyway it would be a much simpler quest ifyou skip the whoopal part as he is quite often not there, and just get someone to wolf form you for the part in WC
There seems to be a fellow in there (at least I saw him once), i can't remember his name, but it ended with "The despised"... A friend of mine heard rumors a vampire sometimes spawns in that particular tavern and sends you on a quest for different kinds of blood... Well, I hailed this guy and needless to say (even as a Dark elf necro) he was a little rude, but answered my questions... He went on about how he was once in the Plane of Hate itself but Innoruuk sent him back for some reason... He mentioned some sort of symbol... I think he may be a cleric, and he does cast spells (watched him buffing himself one time).... does anyone have any info on this NPC?
The coin is for the tash Quest. The rod is for the wizard Quest. The Deputy, well if you talk to one of the guys in warrior guild, he says " the Halflings have even infiltrated our gates and are spying on us. Exactly.
I was swimming in the water inside the commons, to raise my swimming skill, when i spotted a halfling swimming in the water too. i swam behind him and he droped a wand and a coin. Do you think this is the coin he is looking for? If not then what are the items for?
Same here. I talked with him today and I got to the point where he didn't want to deal with me anymore unless I had some symbol, a coin. I'd really like to know where the ends up ;)
I heard these two items are quest items but when ever I turn them in to ENC guild and the WIZ guild they say um erm I don't know what to do with this but thanks I guess.
Vorshar the Despised is for the GM quests. If you finish a GM quest, as rare as it is, you get a coin to turn in to your race's Realm of Heroes npc. (For dark elves, it's Vorshar in the Toadstool) That's all he's for.
The coin in the water is one of 12 (I think?) coins for the coin of tash quest, an enchanter quest to get the spell tashania (or one of the similar equivalents). Can be done around 20 or so, when you have all your racial illusions. One in almost every town.
The rod in the water is part of the wizard staff of the wheel quest (I believe, may be wrong here). There's a bunch of staff pieces laying around norrath. Wizzies just go in and pick them up for their quest.
But I still haven't figured out the Leatherfoot Deputy who swims in the water here. He's almost 10 levels lower than the halflings in the forest, and always cons apprehensive, no matter how many halflings I've killed, including the deputy in the forest. For a while I wondered if he found some secret tunnel to Commons from the outside, but after swimming around for a few hours, and following the one in Nektulous, I was apparantly wrong. =) Back to the drawing board on him.
The leatherfoot deputy in neriak commons is just a not so rare (triggered) spawn. Theres a little fish that shares his place if you're level 13-15 and want some ok exp or the sometimes 2plat that he drops, kill the fish, then go to the blind fish tavern and have a drink. That usually triggers the spawn for me. He also has nothing to do with A Leatherfoot Deputy who roams nektulos forest.

does anyone remember the name of the NPC who stands at the entrance to the caster guild building? He's started glowering dubiously at me, and I want to find out his faction before I make my existence miserable! thanks in advance.
In the toadstool I found a fake wall just before you go up the stairs I saw a semi-square in the toadstool. If you look closelyyou will find the color is different, walk through and you will enter a cave with stalagmites and Stalagtites but going farther into it you find that there is a water fall looking out to the natural bridge near the PoD jump out and turn around (Make sure you know where you came out of, there is still more to see) and you find that there is no passage visable but if you remebered where the passage was you can go though it again but if you didn't you need to go to the Toadstool again and go through the passage again. Explore more soon you'll find an Octogon room don't walk through! There is yet another secret passage on the floor if you go you'll recieve damage for 10-25 damage so it isn't worth it! Keep exploreing and you'll fin a passage (not secret) and you go into the foregn quarter and soon you'll find a dead end look up there is a different colored roof compaired to the walls yet I have yet found the secret passage entrince NO.2. I happened to find this because I am a rogue I am used to this I was a Human necromancer in Quinos and a Gnomish Rogue so I am quite used to hidden passages (now I am a lvl 3 rogue dark elf). I do not know what this is for It might be just a hidden passage for a less complicated way of travel, yet that is only a guess so I might be wrong
the secret cave comes out into a building in the orge part of foriegn quarter just run through one of the walls and it will pop you right out really helps us jewlers get from shiny things to the bauble in 3rd gate
