Running through here today on my way to West Freeport i ran across a guy named Lydl the Great. No ideal what lvl since he conned green at 66. Dropped a locked book. also faction hits were

Found a new mob in North Ro named Queen Tak`Yaliz. Dark blue to lvl 70, hits up to high 800s, slowable with Ranger epic, triples. Has LOTS of HPs.
Responds to hails with:
"Queen Tak`Yaliz's face contorts with sorrow as you approach. She looks as if she's been crying for a million years."
Can't get anything else out of her.
She does not summon, is immune to snare, does not rampage, flurry, or enrage.
Took 5+ mins to kill her with 70 Ranger (time, txevu + geared) and 70 Cleric.
She dropped nothing.

Pretty little creature, I assume its on the same table as the other snakes..with the skins meats egg fang drops but not sure.

Running by the fishing village, I noticed "a teir`dal scout" wandering around *invisible!* So of course I was intrigued. He was a dark blue con to me (at level 70), so I fought him and he certainly was a tough opponent. Assuming it has something to do with the Lanys/FV war, but there was no faction hit and he only dropped a little over 4pp.

Human female, near Dorn B'Dyn camp, hits up to 200s on me. She spawns after talking to the gnome next to the translocator. Light blue to a 69. Part of some quest from Ticket Collector Beppi . She drops a purse of Platinum Pieces that you turn in to the collector and get back a Torn Silk Purse. He says something about it having the crest of Thex on it. I am guessing it is involved with the Firiona Vie story line. No idea what to do with the silk purse now. KOS to High Elves thanks to POG raid.

Ok I went to Felwithe and right on zone in there's and NPC named High Guard Ivyleaf. I turned in the torn silk purse I got from the Scoundrel Vervain and received:

I was in NRO last night for 3 hours looking for a mad man or even a mummy...thier was this LDoN sight near the west freeport but none of the mobs I was looking for...I saw many of those ghilamonster hatchlings too...even the decaying skeliton's didn't pay me any attanction...Lots of orc raiders and taranchula hatchlings...I think they really change the mob's list in NRO...Makes it harder for my chanter to do his spell research...does anyone know where a good place is to find raw-hide armour???

I remember a long time ago when hunting dervish cutthroats in this area was the best exp around. Now you can hardly get a derv group because most people are hunting in PC. I would still like to hunt dervs but you can't single pull them if your a lvl 13 paly. I'm on Drinal and if you want to group just send me a tell :)

I used to see Sand Giants in this zone by one of the Derv camps. But I've been back with my tracking toons, and with lowbies, and I have not seen a Sand Giant in North Ro for a long time. I don't think they wanter these parts. They're still in Oasis and South Ro though!
While out collecting coyote pelts and armadillo parts for my chanter's Arcane Scientists armor quest, I came across a creature not listed here.
A Gila Monster Hatchling. It's on the same level as the spiderlings and fire beetles.
Didn't get any drops from the one I killed.

Just follow the water until you find a Gnome.
This guy is a definite undercon, double punches for 30 and kicks for 14. My 23 monk cons him at lite blue and darn near dies to him everytime.

I've allways liked this zone better than wc myself. only dangers are the mummies and desert madmen that aggro you. Leveled most of my alts here untill lvl 15,16. Then went to oasis.

Ok, so the other day I was following the beach towards Oasis, when I saw this strange creature next to the water just ahead in front of me. I got to it and stopped. I don't know if it was a mob or what, but it was small, sort of silver looking, looked almost like a crescent shaped tear and was floating above the ground bobbing around. Before I had time to con it or take a screen shot it disapeared and just vanished. Any idea what this could have been? I don't know, but it has been buggin the hell out of me! ... and before you leave any sarcastic remarks it was NOT nessy the loch ness monster.

I am trying to find the darkweed snake vile. I was told its not on the darkweed but its on the large rattlers but i have killed a lot of them and havent gotten any bile can anyone confirm the bile and/or tell me what MPC its on?

Thanks to the new patch newbies can make a plat or two in no time! Coyote skulls are worth 6gp to me and new armadillo loots are stackable and are good for 2gp each! (this is a great spot to hunt for newbies!)
Hello all:) After the patch yesterday there are a lot of new mobs and items that are dropped here. There are baby sand scarabs, baby desert tarantulas, lil gila monsters just to name off a few that I killed (conned from blue to ylw to lvl 10 necro). What a nice addition. My partners a lvl 8 cleric and lvl 6 SK were making awesome exp. I was able to chain pull constantly leaving my pet to finish off the job at 25% mob health. Cleric did well did not have to worry to much about healing, hehe, I just love lifespike. I was pulling with siphoning strength and attacking them as melee with my Woe and Envy combo. I started off btw at lvl 7. The add of the new mobs really made more available to kill:) We camped out the plat:)

On Nameless, I saw a Mechanoid (giant emchanical spider) with a gnome out in Ro last night. I was out of mana and couldnt kill it at the time, but once I medded up, I joined the free for all that was happening on it and almost did the majority of the damage. This sucker dropped a Cloak of Flames! Never will I travel OOM again-hehe :)

i was there the night of the Mechanoid it was a big frenzy of people there was about 50pp in Nro all trying to find and kill this thing it would feign death and gate and was totally immune to all spells i belive i tried attacking it once and then for no reason like5 minutes later it just turned around and killed me, i was playing one of my alts lvl 7 wizzie, and this thing would regenerate to full hps when it got low it regenerated to full hps about 4 or 5 times i think, it was a fun time in Nro everyone yelling where is it? where is it? finnally we killed it, most of the time it just stood there and took the hits and then regenerated to full it wasnt too high tho it only hit for about 50 damage or so, but it was a very interesting event.

Last night I saw a Crypt Mummy in North Ro. They are not on the list. It was approximately lvl 10-12, if you want to add it to the list.
The NPC porting Gnomes where in during the halloween events, not exactly sure why they stopped the boats but this was how you got to and from velious.
BTW: The port was to the docks, not some nice place of your choosing

Players are talking about a couple of new gnome NPC characters that will port you instantly from the Desert of North Ro to Iceclad in Velious, and the reverse.
Just approach them and say, "I want a ride," and you will be instantly ported either to Iceclad or North Ro.

I can confirm this as I have taken a ride by saying that phrase..Was more of a suprise than anything kind of scared me actually...Heheh Now I have to compete with NPC'S now for ports :P
I'm told the teleport gnomes are only around to allow travel when the boats are disabled or broken (which is unfortunately, not infrequently).

Never seen the AC spawn here. It DOES spawn in South Ro though. And rate is random (along with where in the zone he spawns).
Can find a stable spot to camp in OOT, but his spawn rate also is random.

For i am a 13 Mage as well and can solo DW caimens with not to to much trouble. They are lvl 15-17 and this guy Rahotep is 16 so for my conclusion is DW caimens i would think are harder than this guy and i can take them so u can probable take him down if u have your pet rdyt o rock. Hope u can find him )

id have to say ive beeni in a group of a lvl 8 cleric a druid lvl 9, 10 wiz, 9 mage, and me a lvl 9 monk at devish cuttthroat camp 3, they all coned red execpt a few, they con yellow. we killed them easy with some pets and me tankin and the rest nukin. they hit for 15-20-30 damage and can stun!

Hi all. I was in Nro a couple days ago hunting the dervs in camp 1. I saw dorn and he just beat the punk out of me even though he conned green ?!@#@ what lvl do you have to be to take him. I killed one sg before and I got A TON of money. Only once though. Very Very rare. Usually spawns past derv three near oasis zone point. Not very easy to find though.

this is wierd cause my friends lvl 21 monk got hit by a desert madman for 80 so all ya newbies that want take a even fight desert madman your gonna turn like a madman when you die in 3 secs
The casters have hit my rogue for that many hp's. Never been hit that hi by a meleeing madman though.

I have still seen him spawn once or twice... (just saw him a few hours ago, as a matter of fact, though I didn't see him spawn)
