I've noticed that he is not listed in the Bestiary but is in the zone. I'm looking for him and will post a loc and some landmarks near him when I find him. As such, I was hoping to find some information on him and his location. He is a merchant. Will post as soon as I find him.
Since its a /open-able object its safe to assume its "Levelrange" is 1-1.
Respawn Time is approx 15 minutes.
Can contain up to 3 different kinds of Crab Meat, ranging from 1lb. to 13lb. (thats highest i've seen yet, but i am sure it can go as high as the fished version). Sometimes can be completely empty, sometimes also has Rusty Dagger along.

{could not reply to the post below so just a new post)
How do I get to the Abysmal Sea? What are the directions to the Abysmal Sea? A map to the Abysmal Sea? A way to get to the Abysmal Sea?
Well no map here but the way it seems to be done presently is...
"Probablly easier if you just go to any LDoN camp and have a magus port you to Nedaria's. Then talk to the magus at Nedaria's, who will port you to Natimbi."
That part is still true. Note that you have to be level 15 and go through your adventure stone quest to use the magus.
The other post talked about a boat. That boat just like the one that used to be in Nedaria's at the time are gone.
Now you just ask the Natimbi magus to take you to Abysmal Sea.
For all of you that are having trouble finding npcs in this zone. Don't forget the FIND command they gave us. Always reminds me of "follow the yellow brick road" when I see that squiggly gold line it generates. It's never failed me yet!
Simply go to your 'Skills' tab on the 'Actions' window. Right click a square. Select the skill 'Open' Target a trap, click that button. Voila, its open. Right click to loot.

There is one near 535, -235 on the sea floor Also one at 550, 250 on the sea floor
I have also noticed that instead of "Crab Trap" a "Battered Crab Trap" occassionaly 'spawns' Not sure if anything about it is different.

If you pull up your map look to the extreme north. In center of ship are stairs leading down. Take them all the way down to sea level, break out pole and fish away. Word of warning, fish here come in various sizes and do not stack in other than their size. IE: 6lb Crabbeast will not stack with 4lb Crabbeast. etc.
It would prob be a good idea to get a mixing bowl to break these down to 1 lb so they will stack easily trivial is extremely low. Think you can even break them down one more level from 1lb which makes them lighter than 1lb. Its been awhile since I fished there. :P
Actually, I found that stacking up unbroken fish is less space-consuming. At 184 fishing, I routinely pull up 13-15lb tuna and crab, a single stack of 14-pounders holds 280lbs worth of tuna. Converted, it makes 14 stacks.

Anyone find any new crap from this place? I haven't found any way to raise faction with the "you need to prove your dedication to our cause" NPCs (as far as I'm told, faction staff doesn't work either :P).
I wish I could work for Grumby, if I could I bet that would raise faction around this dump so they'd talk to me. LOL
Has anyone found muramite residue,it does not show up on alla. but when i look up G.O.D reciepies there is one that calls for muramite residue and im wondering if anyone can help me find it thanks
Yes, the Tribute Masters are in your home city....usually. I can't seem to find the Shaman TM in Halas for some reason. Only one TM (which my Warrior can use) that I have seen and only one on the /find. But he refuses to talk to my Shaman for some damned reason.
The tribute master for any town should work for any character that came from that town. There is one in Halas that all barbarians can use.

-85, 143. I had a heck of a time finding the bankers. They aren't on top on the ship you have to go in below, near where you get off the boat, you see a frog to the right, go to the left theres a door to enter.
K i know im on wrong forum but theres no posting on the central quest list. Has anyone on any server got the paladin armour quest to start. No matter what i say i get the same response, have had others try to no response. This one totally dead atm?
How do you get to the GoD zones, I can't even get in to Nedaria's Landing. I go through the tunnell opposite the potameids and it takes me back to surefall?
Probablly easier if you just go to any LDoN camp and have a magus port you to Nedaria's. Then talk to the magus at Nedaria's, who will port you to Natimbi. Then take the boat and you will be in Abysmal Sea.
They moved the zone in to Nedaria's Landing a while ago.
From Jaggedpine (or blackburrow), go to the basilisk/Brell Serilis gnoll cave. Go into the the gnoll fort and straight to the back where the waterfall is. The zone in is behind the waterfall. Then head for the beach, near the river. You'll see the wayfarer's camp. From there you can either take the Magus to Natimbi, or take the shuttle to the Abysmal Sea (to the ship city).

Thanks for the info on the spell merchants... they are listed on the map, but are not in place there. Could not pull any up on tracking. I play on Vazaelle.
I ran smack dab into one of the scowling mobs mentioned above by Jestall. He was non-aggro, though, and muttered some stuff about death when hailed. Red to 65.
I was on the ship and i seen amor merchants sell newbe stuff, why would they put up trades that sell stuff like this, all these zones are like 50 to 60+, do they think a person is going to take there newbe toon well out of the way to buy stuff(that noone buys anyway) that they can buy in thier home city.....just a little insight on SOE thinking.
They have standardized merchants. The SOE thinking is probably that they don't want to spend any extra time on creating special vendors that will only be used for selling stuff to or are just "filling" for the zone.
#KathleenF,
Posted:Feb 11 2004 at 5:29 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) SOE doesn't want to take the extra time to do much of anything right anymore.
Nioti needs assistance to repair the boat. He asks for 4 Sylvan Oak branches which you can forage in East Wastes. If you bring him the 4 Sylvan Oak branches he gives you a Worker's Badge which is lore and no drop. He then tells you to find a temple on the continenent and recover 'a clay golem part' and turn it in with the Worker's Badge for your reward.
also watch out for the new race on board. i was dubious and scowled at by them :( don't want to die while buying from a "merchant" in a "neutral" city.
With the staff from the in store version of GoD the faction modifier takes you from dubious with them to amiable. I honestly didn't think to Hail was looking for baking components at the time .. the one I did see was not a merchant. Will look into it more but wanted to mention the faction modifier.

i heard that the merchants on the map were simply from beta. rather than have the testers go out and find the spells, they gave them out so that they might be able to test them easier. That might explain why theyre on the map but not in the zone. not sure though...
