If the dork who died to him, ran to the zone in then this mob will be bugged. Not only can you not cast on it, hit it, have a bard reset it to bind, but even a GM can not reset him. >< (MUCH ANGER ATM) You either have to wait for servers to be reset or hope that some /bug GM can reset the whole zone for you (don't hold your breath!).
Please DO NOT train this mob to the zone in. =(
