how we do it.

Ok, here is how my guild does him.

Make your way up to him, and pull out all the lifetakers etc in his room (1h spawn) leave the mobs along the side of the walls since they spawn in 5-10mins.

Put everyone inside the round circle in the middle of the room. Debuff with everything you got that doesnt do damage (tash/malo/cripple/etc). Blur him.

We use pairs of tanks for him since if the rgc doesnt come right away it's hard for a tank too keep good aggro. The tanks need to be positioned so that when he procs his blind/knockback they are thrown right into the wall closest to him, the one that is behind him when you first enter the room.

Have atleast one druid/shaman (clerics are always busy healing so dont give them rgc) dedicated to casting rgc on the tanks. The trick for fast curing is to constantly assist IV and start casting rgc on whoever tanks, if they dont get knocked before it's done casting, interrupt.

Position rest of melee force so that if they get on the rampage list they are knocked straight in the direction of the casters inside the circle, and not to the sides. If someone gets knocked to the side, let them die or you will have tons of adds.

As mentioned he has very high ac so casters are important for quick killage =)

It's important to keep the tank(s) cured at all times cause when clerics/rogues make it to the rampage list things go bad fast.

It's a fairly long fight so stack up rods beforehand.

What i'd say is good setup is 4-5 cleric, atleast one druid/shaman with rgc, 4 tanks. then just fill it up. It's good to have a few shamen/druis to cast quick heals when a tank gets knocked and IV switches. IV doesnt always switch when he knocks someone, and if the tanks have done it a few times they are often able to walk down into melee range blind.

The one curing should be standing close to the tanks with them in good sight, as it's to spot who gets knocked as they are flung against they wall. This makes it faster to cure than to wait for tanks to call it out in a channel.

Thats all i can think of atm.

Good Luck.
