Got an Ogre Beastlord that I want to get this for.. Rallos Zek diety ofcourse. Do I need to start raising my faction?
Edit: Would killin poachers in Jaggedpine help raise faction if I do need to. Or could I just get a bard friend to come along for the turn in to her for the Solstice earring. ty

go from echo cavs (the low side and zone in then just look on map you should be fine

Wondering the safest way to get to her for us without the luxury of succor. I'm a 53 barb shaman, also wondering if Mobs in zone are immediately KoS or if you have to screw you faction up first. Thanks guys.

I gave the 9 items to the forge and clicked combine and I got the first ring and the 'no drop' scroll. I went to Rebecca, gave her the first ring and I am now the proud owner of the Earring of Solstice!!! Can't wait to do it again (need to save a few thousand plat first though) and get the first ring for the other ear. Finally an item that someone can solo on and not need a large raid for!! Thanks for all of the great help on these boards.

My 55 Druid would like to know if you have to turn in the earring and the spell to get the Earring of Solstice or just the earring? I'd like to make real sure before I give this a try.

You just have to turn in the earring. I am a shamaness whom had to destroy the spell, since it is not drop. What was I to do with it. You can also do the forging again, once you turn in the earring to get the druid version since you are a druid. A nice combination of wisdow and AC if you are not already a uber druid. Just my 2 cents. I dont have a druid though, butyou will always find one at my side.

Ok this is what everyone was waiting for. I just turned in the druid ring for the solstice ring. I am a Gnome necro and she saw me apprehinsively ( spelling?) I think she is shadowhaven faction but not sure. I had no problems at all. Hope this helps. ;)
If she is indeed on the Shadow Haven faction then there is hope for even the most hated.
There is a level 1 type quest that will raise your SH faction easily and quickly.
I believe Allakhazam has it listed as "Steaon's Deliveries", not sure on that but it starts with the NPC "Steaon" near the SH soulbinder. All you do is run a "crate of tailoring supplies" to the gnome in Bazaar (straight back from SH bank). Then double dip by bringing his item (gems) back to Steaon.
Estimated time with phrases hotkeyed? 7 minutes each way.
There's no reward other than the Faction and great lowbie xp, but that faction increase alone is worth it.
Best part? You can do it over and over, and over.......

Would a DE Necro who's hunted wolves and bears to extinction in Nektulos be able to complete this quest? Curious before I spend the coin to get the items :\
Most Wolves and bears give no faction hits. The only ones I can think of that do are in jaggedpine Forest, the Bears in Surefall Glade, and the Coldain wolves in velious.

she gives a quest for the Potc earring. you get xanthes earring a dru only ear, and can give this earring to her to trade for the solstice earring

She's located in the little city area at -1447, -805. The "ingredients" for the PotC spell will cost about 750-800pp with good CHA.

The earring quest, on the other hand, costs between 6-12k. It's worth every plat, too ;P.
