Try to buff up when your fight these cuse getting debuffed and feared sucks! I click off the jboots that way i dont go as far when i'm feared and put it back on for the trip back... Hunted in jp for days and never got a ring :-( all i've looted from gnolls r bags of rocks :-(

We messed several of these up last night in our group of 4. We had our beastlord SLOW everything we pulled, and it helped a great deal. For the experience they offer, and chances for moderate to spiffy loot...this place just rocks.
I picked up a Copper Plated Bracer, AC 9 and some stats, was LORE and wasn't NO DROP.
We killed probably 8-10 of these, with that being the only cool loot.

Necro or SK, got feared by one. Under 2k hp for one blue to a 54 druid (One Winged Death (1286)/ One Starfire (634) took him out)
Dropped a Gnollish ring of sorcery, 5 int, 5 svm 5 svc. nec wiz mag enc. all. 56 monk atm soloing these, the defilers and oracles can be Dblue but most of the time they are light,, the warriors are always Dblue Love the xp.

In the few months here, have gotten just two of these off the Defilier.

These gnolls are quite easy i started soloing them at 56. So Far i have looted a 1hs 9/24 with some Stamina and some other stat cant remember, but this guy does drop a ring he dropped the first time i killed him

56th Druid here. Started soloing darkpaws yesterday. Most gnolls are light blue, but warriors are dark blue. Easy pulls near cave entrance, and usually don't get adds. I have improved superior cameo, so makes it easy to pick and choose target. However, the defiler does see thru invis. Plan to stay here til 58.
