Since the changes of Nerrick forest and new map I not been able to find ash draklings or deathfist scouts both of which needed for cleric armor quest. Thankfully i got the halflings done before changes. So with new update has the armor quests change also?
all I need is one ash dralking scale and 2 oak scraps for finish the armor quest. But only ash draling one in blue moon I seen has only drop a ruin ash dralking scales. Not seen any Deathfist scouts since update of Nerrick forest. Need to know if there is an alternatre to the armor quest?

I Think these scalps are worse then the helms, at least you can get the helms, as they do drop.

I swear i have killed 50 of these things, and not one scalp yet. Are they No Drop?

Clerics also need their scalps for newbie bracers, but that's it. The really annoying ingredient is those lifebringer helms.

Do these guys have placeholders? I've been stuck on this part of the quest for awhile because they are exceedingly rare and I have yet to see one drop a scalp. Is there a way to get them to spawn? It's tough, since they are not in the camps.

I have seen Orc Templars spawn and follow the pathing of Scouts that wander around the eastern Orc Lego camp. The Templars cast and are slightly higher lvl than the Scouts.

Necros have to kill these guys for the unholy silk armor quest. They are a pain in the butt too, There are two locations that you'll see them at. One is near the trail close to EC zone, and the other is near the first breakoff trail after the bridge heading for Neriak. I hunting these guys for one or two weeks, and after about a 75 kills i finally got four scout scalps. I also found that the ones by the EC zone drop the scalp, I'm not sure if the other ones do or not.

The necro robe quest does not require Deathfist Scout Scalps. Instead, you should be looking for Matted Halfling Hides =\
You do need 1 Deathfist Scout Scalp for the bracers. Like everyone else said, these guys spawn rarely, if ever. I think I've only seen one, in 4 days of playing my char in Nektulos. I ventured out into EC, hoping the orc pawns dropped the same thing. Unfortunately, they don't. Good luck finding scalps.
Also, I have noticed a scout spawn near the camp just before the zone to EC, and he did spawn near 12 AM game time... hmm...

The skullcap requires 2 DF Scout Scalps, each bracer requires 1 - total of 4.

the scouts past the bridge heading to Neriak do indeed drop scalps..albeit rarely.
the scout near the EC zone seems to spawn around 12pm EQ time.
