Playing on the Mayong 51/50 server, doing my druid 1.0 quest, and needed faction for Alrik Farsight in TD. As of right now, Niola is not accepting batwings. She gave them back to me and said she had no need for them.

I had a lvl 46 druid, trying to get the bowl part of the epic. So i went to Timorous without reading on, to find out that i had to get faction up. So i went to the DE seller in west PoK, and bought about 2000 (they stack to 100 now) Then i ran over to here, and started handing them in. May take ages, but at least u can carry on with ur epic...

Just tried this today 1/8/07 and can confirm the bat wing quest is working...300 batwings later im amiable from indifferent and now i can finish my rangers epic!!

I'm trying to repair my ruined Keeper faction but cannot approach Niola for the bat wings quest. I've been killing Gix in W.Commons for the past two days but haven't seen any improvement -- most of the other available mobs aren't quite practical for my lvl 51 mage to reach and camp, and neither Elishia Leafrunner nor the elven slaves will accept anything I try to give them. I was wondering if I were to max faction with Faydark Champs and King Tearix (the Muffin for Pandos quest in W.Freeport is working great) if that might allow me to approach Niola, or if the lowest faction determines how they con to you overall?

I think it should mention a little higher up in the posts, I had to ask a mage i happened by, she is in south felwithe...took me a while to get to her and you have to have the faction to start the trueshot, which you have to do to get the raincaller. so there you go.

On my human ranger I started out indifferent to Alrik and her. 11 stacks of batwings later (yes handed in individually, 4 at a time) I hit amiable. I had brought 25 stacks with me, and for some reason I decided to hand her the rest. 14 stacks after hitting amiable, I was still amiable.

I feel for those of you who start out at dubious though.

All those young elf not all but many. Killed some slave in Crushbone in our very young age so we are dubious. Those slave gave very large faction hits about 2 kill and you are dubious about 5 and you will be kos in South Felwithe.

Well if she does teach that stuff beyond 20, then I would like to know as well. Although since she is a Mage trainer, I can't train anything from her being a Druid :/

Niola Impholder now teaches brewing, begging, and alcohol tolerance? This was a patch message from march 13 2003, anyone have any info on it?--is she a trainer of unusual skills? Can I Finaaly use my practice skill points on a skill beyond 20?--would love some clarification on this subject. thanks all.

Wolf Form worked like a dream for me, she was happy to accept and give faction for bat wings.

180 wings later I'm amiable in normal form.

Gotta kill them alot to raise faction. Once indifferent you can hand in bat wings to Niola to raise faction further.

where is she?

To start the epic quest, you need faction with Telin Darkforest. You can raise that by turning in the muffins to Pandos. Recently, muffins have become scarce in FP. You can make them spawn by a quest with the Innkeeper at Jade Tiger by the bank in FP. Bake at least 10 muffins, then hail the Innkeeper, who mentions shortages, you then tell him that you can bake [fresh muffins]...he will hand you a 10 slot bag (combinable)..put 1 muffin in each slot, combine and give back to him. He will then despawn and immediately respawn with 4 stacks of muffins on him. Quickly open the trade window and buy his supply. I have been told that you should not need more than 8 stacks to raise faction high enough.

Farios Elianos is the NPC for which you need Keepers of the Art faction, further along in the quest for part of the runed bowl. He is in the library of the building in South Felwithe that is immediately opposite the tunnel where you zone in. This building has the gem-seller in the first room, turn right and the first door in the hall facing you is the library.
I discovered the hard way that I was KOS in all caster guilds...I only remember being with a necro friend a very long time ago, and killing Linara Parlone in Najena. That may be the source of my bad faction, otherwise I have no idea how it got to KOS. To raise faction enough to do the batwing (or the black wolfskin) quest, I have only found one way...kill Kizdean Gix in WC.
I have been doing this for some time now, when I have some time free from my regular group, and my guild...I am at least not KOS now, but still dubious, and unable to get her to accept the batwings. I will surely try the invisibility suggestion, and I thank you for that, oolish!

The problem is that sometimes your faction is so bad that she might not give you the batwing quest even in wolf form. This is the answer put your batwings in trade window 4 stacks of 4 then have a friend invis you then click the trade. Rinse repeat. Eventually she will trade normally with you. Took me 600 batwings to get amiable ( dont know wwwhat i killed to get that dubious) hope this helps oolish 53 druid of quellious

I did not have problems with faction with Niola, but for the first response on this page, to get faction up with Telin, you may want to try the muffin quest for Pandos in WFPort first. I had to do 21 stacks of muffins to him. It took me much time. Good luck

im a druid and i need to turn batwings in to gain faction for keepers of art .. problem is Niola con apprehensive and wont allow me to hand them in . So does anyone know how i could gain faction for her. or maybe an alternate way to gain faction for keepers of art.
