Today I went to Neg 1000 pos 2500 like someone else said in this thread and found bounder. He dropped the Javelin.

The beastlord guildmaster is now giving out the first weapon quest. Today i hailed him and he said:
"Greetings. I only train those that follow the path of the Patriarchs of Cabilis and have yet to develop their [powers] of the beasts of the wild, or maybe you are trained and are here to [help aid in our cause]?"
prompting the line "i will help aid in your cause"
"Good. Well we shall see how well you match up with our needs with this first mission. Go out beyond the safety of our city walls and bring proof of your inner strength and training. This proof will be in the form of a sarnak raider brain, a froglok bounder javelin, an iksar bandit mask, and a mandible from a rogue shaman."
A sarnak raider brain: Sarnak Crypt Raider spawns near the explorers tower.
A froglok bounder javelin: froglok bounders spawn around the iksar camp east of Cabilis in Swamp of No Hope.
Iksar bandit mask: looks like a black sash and is dropped by the bandits that arent in yellow jump suits found in the pit, in Field of Bone
A mandible: droped by the A rogue shaman in Field of bone. He only spawns after midnight north and east of kurns tower.
On handing these 4 things in:
"You have done well on your way to becoming a great patriarch. Now i must tend to other pressing issues. Take your reward and wear it proudly."
The reward was:
Claw of the Cub
Magic Lore Item No Drop
Slot: Primary
Skill: Hand to Hand Atk Delay: 24
dmg: 7 Dmg bonus: 13
str: 1 wis: 1
wt: 3.5 size: medium
Class: Bst
race: bar trl ogr iks vah
slot 1, type 4
The next quest is from a new npc outside on the walkway named Elder Patriarch Ixthal.

This guys is usually found in the Temple of Terror in Cabeast, but he has always wanted to be a warrior so he tends to roam and can be found outside of the warriors guild on next to the canel at loc -145, -235 3.7 when he is not in the temple.
According to today's patch message "Prime Patriarch Vuzx should be less likely to leave his usual spot." I'm not sure if that means he will =never= take a walk, mind you, but it does indicate a reduced chance that he'll be found hanging out down near the warriors' guild.

I made my beastie a week or so ago and I have yet to see Vuzx anywhere else than the castle's 2nd floor.
One thing I am curious about is: What faction is he on? Is he on the Scaled Mystics? Nothing is shown above. I am interested in getting a couple of my alts into Cabillis and would prefer them to not be slaughtered by a missed faction.
