You say, 'Hail Yeolarn Bronzeleaf'

Yeolarn Bronzeleaf says 'Hail, _____! We of Tunare are charged with protecting the Great Mother from the forces of Innoruuk. Even now, the evil missions of this foul deity are dispoiling our great forest. Will you help us [protect the Mother]?

You say, 'I will help protect the Mother.'

Yeolarn Bronzeleaf says 'Just outside the gates of Felwithe, the forces of Innoruuk gather in the guise of decaying skeletons. Bring me four set of bone chips as proof of our vigilance. I assure you, your faith shall not go unrewarded.'

When giving him the Bone Chips later:

Yeolarn Bronzeleaf says 'Praise Tunare! I knew you would be victorious. I reward you with this spell, and pray that it will help you in your fight against the unholy forces of Innoruk. When you are ready you will make a fine [Initiate of Tunare].

This starts a series of quests for Initiate Symbol of Tunare, Disciple Symbol of Tunare and Warden Symbol of Tunare.

You say, 'What trades?'

Yeolarn Bronzeleaf says 'I thought you might be one who was interested in the various different trades, but which one would suit you? Ahh, alas, it would be better to let you decide for yourself, perhaps you would even like to master them all! That would be quite a feat. Well, lets not get ahead of ourselves, here, take this book. When you have finished reading it, ask me for the [second book], and I shall give it to you. Inside them you will find the most basic recipes for each trade. These recipes are typically used as a base for more advanced crafting, for instance, if you wished to be a smith, one would need to find some ore and smelt it into something usable. Good luck!'

The first book has basic recipes for Baking, Brewing, Fletching, Jewelcraft.

The second book has basic recipes for Pottery, Smithing, Tailoring.

Books are lore but tradeable.

Ah ha! You say that now! However, I am an Innoruuk worshipping Dark Elf Necromancer, and Yeolarn is DUBIOUS to me, when I have done nothing to raise my Clerics of Tunare faction. I've only done the slave rescuing, orc killing and CB belt quests on Faywder, and somehow the Paladins and Clerics in Felwithe are dubious instead of KOS. Even the guards in GFay were threatening to me, at first. The casters guilds (at least the Enchanter in the first room of their places) still scowl though.

anyone know this guy's faction? for some reason I'm kos to him now but warmly to the rest of felwithe.

it's kind of a pain in the butt with trying to use prayer stone thing for gate.... i can't seem to figure out how to raise his faction cuz i don't know what it is and i don't know what i killed to make him not like me!

I have the same problem with this guy. Just got a faithstone and found my faith wasn't as true as I'd thought it was. Anway, just a thought. It might be possible to approach him in wolf form and turn in bone chips by the score to raise the faction enough. Going to test this theory tonight and see if it works.

As for level, he's yellow at 60.

was just wondering if the wolf form thing worked. as a 52 Necro I need faction so I can buy the nutz to get my brewing up. If anyone has any idea how I can raise my faction quick please let me know.

Just a thought, but dont quote me but he may be on Clerics of Tunare faction...have you hunted in PoG before? If so you will have to fix the faction by killing DE's and bandit sisters in Lesser Fay

Raise faction with the Cleric or Tunare
# Dec 18 2000 at 4:00 PM Rating: Decent
You can give him 4 bone chips to get a spell and an increase in faction with the Clerics of Tunare.

Once your faction is high enough, you can receive the "Sisters" quest from Tynkale the Paladin Leader in the Paladins guild.
