doing hunter for 2 chars and down to this char have killed some 5k elementals and have yet to see this one up. just as rare as vaniki if you know what I mean as its the only one for that zone too. sad panda

Im a lil short on cash and hunting items for alts might be a good idea anyone know where this thing Spawn>?

anyone know the % of haste on the boots and the on the lesser guard of haste?

May 06, 2003. Playing my level 51 ranger, who has never killed elementals in Twilight Sea, I just killed Aero, and now I'm only dubious with the other air elementals. So, killing a boss elemental apparently does *not* make you immediately KOS to the others of that type. However, going from indifferent to dubious is quite a leap in faction, so it's reasonably safe to assume that the people saying "instant KOS" had already killed at least a handful of the appropriate elementals before seeing the boss.

He dropped the Lesser Guard of Haste, a spiny spear, and a spell research item.

I have killed Aero twice now while farming for smithing components. I've gotten the Chromomatic Boots and Lesser Guard of Haste. My mage is lvl 56 and pretty well keeps the island cleaned of elementals. both times I have killed him he was almost dead center of the island. Probably killed close to 100-150 elementals before seeing him.

I killed all the air elementals over and over on this island looking for either Aero or a Windstone, but after a while I ran out of air elementals, anyone know why? =P I also got one lesser, a hulking air elemental. It spawned ontop of the hill over near the merchant on elemental island.

Camped this island for 3 weeks straight. Chain killed the entire island of all elementals every fifteen min spawn. Amazing, the brutal killing capacity of a 58 Necro and his Monk pet. We tore them up. I figure we killed somewhere between 10,000 and 12,000 Elementals. As far as named, got Aero 6 times, Inferno 3 times, Terra 3 times and Hydro 2 times. Seeing as this thread is about Aero, I will tell you that out of six kills I got 5 lesser guards, and a pair of Chromatic Boots with haste, more suitable to a Cleric or Wis caster class that can wear it. Decent stats. Excellent saves on those boots, and Haste. I will wear them until they rot off my Clerics feet or until I get together the 50 to 70 K they want for a ToF.

In case you missed the count there. Aero has 2 rare drops, greater guard of haste, lesser guard of haste and the Chromatic Boots, which I think are the best drop of all. But that depends on whether your putting it on a straight melee or a Wis caster I guess.

The elemental island or #5 on your eq atlas map

I have done much research on this Mob and have found that YES this is the mob that drops the Lesser Guard of Haste! Just kill the elements till it spawns.
