Ry`Gorr Iron ArmguardsI, Sanctimonius Pontificus, Holiest of Paladins, have this day single pulled and thoroughly smited Poxbreath, despite losing the damnable wolf on the way.
As I was following the wolf, he did a little Barry Sanders-esque Juke move on me and disappeared.
Calling the wrath of Marr down on the slippery canine I nevertheless resolved to scout out the Rygorr camp in case Poxbreath spawned anyway.
Lo and behold, as I get to the camp (just North of the bridge to Iceclad) I see a few too many orcs hanging out by the fire. I inch closer... closer... suddenly one of the orcs peels off and charges. It's none other than Poxbreath in all his halitosial glory.
Praise Marr for the beating I then delivered upon him, leaving his lifeless corpse bleeding in the snow.
No sign of the wolf anywhere at this point, so I question whether or not you need to follow the flea-bitten cur at all.

originally the camp is used by a few orcs that conned green to 52 ranger, if ya make it to the camp before the wolf then use that time to buff up, pox and his oracle buddies wont spawn until the wolf is near the camp.
Also pox and his oracles were able to keep up with me and my 52 ranger sow, and were, after 4 attempts, able to root and continue to beat the bejesuses outta me. so dont think that you can solo this guy without high MR and something faster than sow (ie. soe, foe, selos)
i was able to snare a few of them, with a partner it shouldnt be hard to snare and single out poxbreath, ill post back after i try to duo him.

Busted as of the patch on June 5, 2002. You have been warned. I am doing quest, and will post here when Pox is working again.

Well he cleaned my clock tonight, so he might be fixed. I was sitting on the bridge to Iceclad, minding my own business, when a train rolled over me, and he was in it.

Yep, I just now completed the quest he is used in. He is working again.
