This is a triggered spawn, related to the Dark Masters. It spawns after killing the four Masters in the house (middle of the zone). Respawn available after 4 days from last kill, or immediately after a server reset.

You have to kill the masters first. If you kill them and Doom doesn't spawn, try again the next day.

Ok so i think this is what happens first you hear the darkmasters chant so you pull/kill them then DS pops? how long does he take to pop after DMs are down

That seems a little unnecessary. I know RC is single-shaman doable, so why shouldn't a 65, well-equipped beastlord not be able to handle him?

highly doubt 1 65 bst, EP geared or not can do it, I'm 70 Qvic/Tacvi geared and need a good healer to even attempt him, non slowable mobs are bad for beastlords.

Have heard a guildie of mine soloed this (was told by another guildie that saw him do it)...never seen it personally but I believe it...can solo almost all the UP names I think...except RC


The soloing technique wasn't totally "legal" by SOE terms but yes I have personally seen him solo every named in UP

there is no way in hell that anyone could solo this, maby in omens if they give necros 3 dif dots that all stack and all do around 3k d.p.t could solo this guy lol. or maby if they give wizzys 20k damage nukes lol, but they would still die.

killed him with 65Pal, 65Rog, 65Shm, and 65Dru took bout 20min shm dru switch off healing had my 46 shm there chain casting greater healing, but didn't need it... Had no prob at all during fight... it was alot more fun then a raid...heh

Popping Doomshade is easy and here is how you do it.Doomshade is a 3day random pop. If you are in UP and you see a message like "the dark masters begin to chant to coming of doom" doom is able to be popped.you have to kill the 4 dark masters within 20mins...Sounds easy.without a force to handle the adds it can get hairy.after the DM's are down you see a message "a tortured scream echos thru the lands as a cursed soul if realeased"or something to that effect.Just pin her in the corner and add all the DPS you can muster..Pretty sweet drops though. SHE FLURRYS A LOT!!! have a 3sec cleric rotation on the MT.

Doomshade is a pushover,with the right amount of people it is easy. Don't pull her with adds though. that makes it more fun but also deadly at the same time.

Tonight dropped the nice earring and few other items, but he dropped a strangef norent item? Anyon know if norent item has some use, thought might be part of VT or something

It isnt an addition. She can drop anything off of the Radir/Tawro loot tables pluss her 3 or 4 "special" items

Dropped Spell:Greater Familiar (wiz lvl 60) for us today along with some other stuff that is up there.
Doom is a she as it says in con. To pull i moved our two groups to the area just before VT, didnt get an add at all from just standing there, only once or twice did we get a moktor add on the pulls because they were in the way. Doom is fairly easy, the mini raid we had consisted of 2 clerics(65) (one being boxed) a 63 druid (boxed) 2 SU 3 pallies (65) 2 65 bards, 2 65 ranjahs, 62 mage, and 65 monk.
Also on pull - clear assassins by the tons if u can - helps alot when pullin masters timewhise so u are sure to not have to redo masters, oh and dont let them proc on you by staying in to closeof range, the snare sux.

The best way i have found to quickly pull the DarkMasters with out many assasin adds is to have a bard run around with accelerating chorus and lev going. The bard will round up about 20 DAs plus various other mobs. This will shorten the spawning of Doomshade significantly.

Was with a group in UP when a raid came in asking if we wanted to join and we did. There where 4 group with 1 Cleric in each group (Raid ave was 61). We waited at the zone line while for the pull to come there. Once there the Mt took Doom to a Cornor, and we attacked from behind. No one died, after that we pulled RC, who has a lot less HP than Doom.

There are a few key parts when fighting Doomshade.
1.) Getting him to spawn
You must kill all 4 Darkmastets in about 15 - 20 minutes to have him spawn. Thus, you should clear the area in front of these things, and plenty of Dark Assassians.
Also, he is on a 3 day spawn timer. The Dark Masters should be chanting about the coming of Doom every 30 min to let you know if you can spawn him.

2.) The Fight
Doomshade is unslowable. He can quad 470 max damage. The best thing to do is have him in the corner with the MT and just have a good CH rotation. He has a lot of hp, so be prepared for a semi-long fight.

can anyone tell me how much doom hits for max? quad or double? enrage? rampage? AEs? just trying to figure out what her dmg/sec is so i know how many clerics to throw in our cheal rotation. from other posts i see she has around 300-400k hps and flurries a lot. but i would appreciate any other information i can get. tks

Damage output is low enough that a 7500hp paladin with ca3 and cs3 can be healed by a single cleric chain ch'ing. We can almost do Doomshade with a single group now, and I know of a couple guys who each 6 box that are chain farming her.

Tank, Bard, a few clerics, shamman, monk, chanter, necro, druid and mage.

Most were 65, few were in the mid to low 50's

He was harder to spawn than he was to kill.

Dropped the Petrified Staff, Crystal Arm-thing, Bracelet of Sense, Wand of Cursed Souls, Khuras Focusing and a lvl 60 cleric hammer spell.

Also dropped some black orb that was NO RENT.

overall, a very fun fight...easy...decent loot for the effort.

Our normal hunting group took on 3 extra people and we successfully took Doom down. It was tough with just 9 and only 1 tank, but doable. Victors were: 65 Warrior, 65 Mage, 65 Druid, 2x65 clerics, 65 necro, 63 Chanter, 62 Ranger, and 65 shammie. The only hard part is the getting the freak to spawn.

soo.. when do the DMs chant, we tried to get him to spawn, killed the DMs in 7 min few times but no doomshade , anyone know if you can trigger his spawn or itsa wait and hope. would appreciate any insight as to getting him to spawn please.

Did him today with 10 ppl. 65 war, 65 wiz, 60+ cleric, 65 shm, 61 shm (me), 59 rog, 56 druid, 50 bard, 60 ish ranger. not one death, and we had no brain candy beyond bard mana song. When we got lom Berserk (mt)aggro kited until we had a chance to med. The fight took at least 15-20 minutes. This guy had a TON of hp. Great job to everyone that was there! awesome fight

Never got a slow of any kind landed on him. Got the 'this mob is immune to changes in it's attack speed' msg, so he is definitely unslowable.

Hmm, must have been interesting kiting a mob who summons.....its not like you dont get hit so thereby your healers get a comeplete break.

Did Doomshade again, same MT (Berserk) he has 6300HP unbuffed. Two clerics alternating CH on him (casting when the tank got to 4bulbs of health) we could have kept the MT up indefinately (he was in defensive). We had to do him again unfortunately without defensive due to an opposing guilds bard casting highsun on DS when we got him to 10%. It wasnt that much harder. Its very possible to do DS one group one cleric as long as the tank has good HP's and the cleric has some mana regen. Otherwise, you get minimum two clerics and a tank with 5k HP unbuffed and you can do DS pretty easy.

I just recently scrolled all the way down and read all the posts. He does not depop without agro because we tried him 3 times. And he was left alone for way over 15 minutes in between the second and the third attempt. Just sitting there above the enterance facing the wall. I told him to stay there (whip cracking noise here)

This is the problem. With 400k hp's you need a lot of DPS to kill him before your clerics go out of mana. Make sure you have dps dps dps. =D

Killed him, dropped Bracelet of Quickness / Knotted Knuckles / Longsword of Freedon/ Bow of Doom / some other stuff I forgot, and some spells. Came close to a wipe - not sure why, but the ma dropped with Doom at 9%, 63 pally took over, he dropped with Doom at 5%, and we managed to keep the deaths low. Come to think of it, I think we only had 1 cleric.
