any idea, how to make them spawn up faster ? is really annoying, when you need silk and there is no worm out there... grrrr

I was hunting/moneymaking with my 13 rouge and i got about 20 silks and went to the bazaar and sold them each for 10pp. good money making.
(also i did that with swirling shadows of lesser shades)

Lesser shade dropps the silk far more frequently.... its not even listed here, Shadeling Silk

I have notice that, in Shadeweavers Thicket, the worms run right after you hear a loud boom like thunder.

The Xakra Silkworms in Shadeweaver's Thicket seem to be on a cycle equivalent in length to a Norrathian day (45 minutes). Since /time does not work on Luclin, a pop time can't be pinpointed but if you notice, or track, when they start popping a lot you can get the timing on them down. I used a druid and the tracking technique. When they started popping, I'd start timing, go kill them all, and wait for them to start popping en masse again.
