Bouncers at the FRONT GATE were buffed up, making them lvl 50 and COMPLETELY magic resistant, to discourage guard hunting near newbie areas.
The rest of these guys are still close to 37 and I'm planning on bringing a group here to start killing them for Crude Steins.

Is there a way to raise faction with the bouncers? They KOS me, and they are virtually unavoidable.
I did a Faction lookup and unless you've got passable faction with either Ogres or their bartender (who I guess is the real power behind the throne) you're stuck.
At least you know what it's like for the Evil races.

Not a one of my spells went unresisted. verant likes to nerf but they made these guys the real deal.

Man bouncers are nasty now. They have far more hps and do far more damage than Hill Giants and Specters of the same level. Bouncer killing is not a viable option anymore.
These drop crude stiens, regular weapons, and an occasional large bronze armor for loot.
