killed this guy 3 times now. so easy for a named it's rediculous. he dropped that wonderful sheild once and a necro won the roll. shame

I want to quad the skellies so i can get rid of lots in one big swoop, but im having trouble single pulling them. Amoung the skellies that wander around the NE corner, are also lots of golems and rockfiends. Its very difficult to single pull the things, not to mention find an area to do it in. Any suggestion? Me and a pally partner have been killing them for 7 hours now, not ONE Hiero pop.....so im getting a little frustrated...
You just got to scout out the 4 you want and figure your approach. There's no other way...well, one way.
Ermok of Fire and Fury on FV pulled this one. 60 druid:
Ran out into the field and agro'd every Slave and Rockfiend, bringing them all full speed to NW corner. Rockfiends, being slightly faster, pulled ahead of the 20 or so Slaves. He then Egressed.
Once he returned from the Mons zone, he agrod the Fiend mob (about 12 of them) full speed and headed back along the perimeter past the SD zone till they were well out of range of the Slave area, and egressed again.
Now you have a nice juicy group of Slaves standing there to pick from 1 by 1 (if you are 56+ and don't agro them all at once). Afterwards about 4 Fiends will slowly spawn back into the Slave field, the others are bugged and sitting in la-la land.
One problem though. Grazan hasn't spawned since. Been 3 days of solid quadding and usually he is seen twice a day at least. Nothing.
Relationship between the Rockfiends and Heirophant Grazan? Perhaps...

Spent about 2 weeks here 5-10 hours a day quadding tormented slaves. Grazan pops 2-3 times a day max. Out of 6 kills in all that time I have 2 scimmies and 4 necklaces. The shield is either nerfed or ultra ultra rare.

I am going to regret this since I still like to hun there, but the shiled is not nerfed )

Killed this guy today and he dropped the Necklace and some Yttrium Ore.
Anyone know what the ore is for?
Some guildies seem to think it was used to make (blacksmithing) some sort of dagger.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Can anyone tell me about where in the zone this guy spawns? I am very interested in killin him a couple times, but dunno where to look. I have no trackablility so any help would be great, thx.

He spawns in the north east corner of the zone. He spawns in the general area with tormented iksar slaves as the place holders. Unfortunately your odds of getting him without being able to track are fairly slim unless they are no trackers around when he spawns.

Benn hunting him for a while now, even posted here before, under anon. He is not a 24 hour spawn, as a matter of fact, he seems to spawn in pairs, maybe 30 minutes apart. I have gotten the scimitar about 7 times, necklace 4, and shield once. I have seen the sheild one other time, and the scimy maybe 3 or 4. He is best to hunt when a wizzie or 2 is up there quad kiting, as they are killing alot of mobs, and don't have track to grab the Heiro when he spawns. I pair up with my 55 necro, 54 druid now, and we kill one right after another, no down time. Not the best experience, but steady exp. Kill some Shissars stalkers every once in a while, they drop organs rarely, and if you get 3, you can turn them into a NPC in Katta for a very nice EB necklace. The heiro is blue to 53, and never summons. He is just as easy to kill as the regular tormented. Good Hunting, the scimy's sell quite well :)

I`ve killed this skele 7 times in the past week. Got the Scim once and neck 5 times and nothing once. He spawns alot from what I have noticed. There is always someone qaud kiting the tormented in the corner so naturally he is gonna pop alot. This guy is a wimp considering almost all the other named mobs have alot more hp`s then there regulars. Hoping to get the shield soon but no luck so far.

do you not understand he was blue to me at lvl 51.....i have killed i say about 5 times already, i got him one day i saw like 5 times in that one day but besides that one day i was camping him, im just in and out for exp....but he was BLUE BLUE at lvl 51, so a lvl 51 druid can solo him easy....if you have a nerco yes youc an solo even easyer and its fun, just have necro fear him and druid nukes if he wants too

im a lvl 51 druid i have seen him 4 or 5 times in 3 days, every time he was blue to me, and he is very easy, i say 3k hp? im not sure i just snared rooted and dotted him up and a while later did a few nukes till i was oom and he hit the ground like all those dead skeletons......the thing was, i did see him spawn about 3 or 4 times in one day, but now.....i havent seen him spawn at all i have a guilde that is there at night only time he cna play he says he is a 24hr spawn now, anyone know if that is true? or what is the new spawn time on him, if he did become a 24 hr spawn price on shield and sword just double or thirded, KILLER shield ac 25 str 10 wis 10 hp 55 mana 55

He is not 55 to start with, i soloed him just by kiting him, pull him to the wall and u get no adds and plenty of running room. and he does not have 5K hp 8) hardest thing about him is getting him to spawn 8)

He does have 5k health wich is in line with every other tormented iksar slave in the area. 2 castings of splurt (roughly 1.6-1.7k damage each) and 2 castings of cascading darkness (roghly 1k damage each) is slightly more than enough to kill this guy or any of his place holders. That puts him at about 5k. I hunt this area a LOT. The numbers are pretty accurate.

Would a 51 cleric w/ all his Vs. Undead spells kill this thing if I unloaded all my mana on him (203 wis)

I have been fear kiting in the Grey for a few weeks now. I have a 53 druid, 55 necro combo hunting in the NE cornor. We mainly kill the ph's for the Heirophant. We saw him 5 times, killed him 4 times, in the first week of January. Haven't seen him since. There are usually 1 or 2 wizzies quad kiting here, and maybe another group. The Ph's are getting killed en masse, but the heirophant is rare. He is easy to kill, if you can kill the regular tormented iskar, you can take him just as easy. On another note, does anyone have any info on the crusader? Does he have PH's or is he just a rare spawn? Thanks

You could kill with just Druid if that's your character. Really is a push over.
As far as pulling goes, he is random pop from skels in zone far as I'm aware (2 types of normal skels in zone, not sure if it matters which, but probably does).

that shield is 25ac 10str 10wis 55hp 55mana priest classes. rare drop, necklace common, bone handled scimitare semi rare

I got a nice twink item off Heirophant Grazan today.. lvl 55 mob apparently, but he doesn't summon and only took roughly 2 winged deaths (druid DoT) to kill..
The item's stats are:
