Pull to outside door from where you get ported to when you click on that orb thingy.. push him into a corner on the left or right of the room outside of it and basically use your vyemm type tactic.. tank in corner... others behind. Keep your clerics inside the room and keep the door shut.. oh and the 2 spawns in the room are pretty fast so just keep one group in there to clear it and its dead.

My guild went up to Griegs last sunday, and we camped this room for about 30 or so minutes before moving farther in, when we came up to this room, I saw this guy, but he then despawned.
This picture, and the room you camped, are NOT where he spawns. It is only an illusion to frighten/excite you at that spot....From the crypt room you were at there is MUCH further to go!

The quick respawn time on the room guards and nastiness of them coupled with the AE Knockback makes for a pretty nasty combination.

he knockback for 600 dd, and knockback whitou dd when you are hide behind a wall, he blind for a long time not curable, slow cripple malosini work well on him, hard to taunt, he love clerics.
he have about 150k hp around. and whit 250 resist desease poison and magic i rarely resisted to his knockback... he is not perma-root, and you should not fight him in place cause guard repoptime is 5 mins, and guard are hard to slow and have lot of hp too.

He does NOT NOT NOT have 800k hp, this is ********* and I am tired of people posting ******** HP numbers when they have no clue, if this guy has 800k HP that means the fight with 40 people would be 20 minutes if he DIDNT knockback and stun, with the knockback and stun it would be like a 30 minute fight, so STFU plz, thx la~

For any of you that have been to Grieg's, you'll know what I am talking about. Mobs cahnge forms all the time in this zone...Grieg himself changes forms as well so basically any picture you see on this zone could be just about any mob in the zone.
the knockback AE is 600 damage on the "big" grieg spawn
He also blinds you (uncureable) and he casted a AE snare (gravel Rain)

He melees weak but does a 400 point ae knockback.

Just took him down on Brell.. and he sure didn't look like what's above. I have a real good pic of him that I'll send in. He's lvl 65 or so.. has an AE stun plus a good amount of dmg. Has a ton of hps. He dropped a few things.. a 60ac 30wis 5 to all resists and other misc stats BP.. and a pair of 30ac 5 to all resists, 5str FT3 gaunts. Grats to SR/Watchers and friends (that's me) for taking him down!

BTW this screenshot is one of your BOOOOH illusion spawns (triggered by opening the door that leads to it. can REALLY scare you) on a tomb near the zone
